The casting in this series is fabulous! All of the younger actors who play their older selves are well cast for looks and acting ability. The resemblances are actually uncanny. I wonder if the actors chosen for these roles are related?
every time we get flashback royalty, i can't help but think it's not the actors themselves talking, but the original actors doing voice over work to make it that much more believable that the younger versions are actually them. which, if that's the case, bravo for that cleverness! otherwise, the role casting is just too surreally spot on lol

Loved how they did scene with his majesty when his youngest was getting treatment and deep you feel his sorrow with him. Thank you for English subtitles. I watch on TH-cam, needs added to Netflix would be great.

The young validam really looks like the actual validam. Young Ibrahim also looks like the actual one. They did a really good job in selecting the young actors.. only young suleiman dont look like the actual one.... perhaps suleiman had unique features.
