Can you imagine being good enough to play in any BS&T line-up behind the one and only DCT singing....pure class
Favourite band of all time, just my luck the only time they came to Scotland in the 70's and the only time I have seen them live....Jerry Fisher was the singer NOT the master.
Is there a DVD of this concert?
Saw same Hammersmith Odeon ,Jerry Fisher ,more bluesy less ego Bargerone led with his Bone .Always loved em' I drifted Steely Dan ,Mandrill during the Vegas Soul days X

The classic B,S, and T horn section never did those stupid dance steps and they were the best.

Drumcam - thanks for posting this. My favorite song from one of the kickingest bands ever! Great performance. This is a band that is comfortable, confident and is finally having fun with each other, the audience and the music. Some people had the debate: BS&T or Chicago. I say both and add Earth, Wind & Fire in for good measure - each took their horns in a different direction but all are so tight and have left their indelible prints on music from the past 40 years and into the next 400.

Thanks, Jeffused. Larry is indeed greatly missed by all the members of BS& T who played with him; and, in fact, by anyone who ever knew him. I think it's safe to say that the "Larry DeBari Sound" will never be heard live again.

Have you ever seen/heard Arturo Sandoval play that with the GRP All-Star Big Band? ( ...another awesome rendition of a great tune. )
and where are they now.. They had their hits in what 1969...now 25 years later...a better band if you can believe that..

thanks a lot for posting that live BS&T ! I can't find on the net where to buy the dvd of THIS concert, i even asked to North Sea Jazz Festival staff, they don't know... Do you have a clue Drumcam where i could find that ? producer or whatever ? txs a lot !
BS&T is 1 of the bests bands ever and the best & unique in its music ! SO ENJOYABLE !
This band is soooo effin smoking in the BS&T tradition Jerry Socloff is insane, amazing drummer with a nice thumpin bass. Long live BS&T and David Clayton Thomas!

... so glad you are enjoying the videos of Larry, Jeffusd. To clarify my comment, of course I meant that Larry had a unique sound that will never be duplicated by anyone, now that Larry has left us.

I guess DC-T is an acquired taste...which I never acquired. Never liked his tone. Recalling "Lucretia MacEvil" is a total downer.
