    I’m glad Korean car manufacturers are still making coupe/sedan cars because Americans car manufacturers are trying to replace them with SUVs and pick-up trucks which it’s a shame. I love this car and I’m seriously thinking in replacing my Chevy Volt with this one. Plus I already owned a Hyundai Ioniq plug-in. Good job Hyundai!! 👍

    Big fan of Hyundai and especially the Ioniq lineup! Fantastic work.
    I might go for the AWD long range variant due to living in Canada's southern countryside. Lots of long roads and I have to travel 20kms+ just to get to other towns. Also, this thing is probably a beast in the snow.

You know what I mean :) I used to have VN DCT for full 2 years myself as well. I'd definitely keep an N. Just in case you're curious why I didn't keep mine, I had 370z manual that I'm keeping forever with me, so sadly had to let go of VN 🥲

I don't know how long I'll keep my VN DCT since I just got it a few months ago, but I do want a Kona N. My ideal garage would be a gas N car and an EV, one sedan or hatch and one SUV. What about the Ioniq 6 N, you're not interested in that?

      There has not yet been a confirmation from Hyundai for I6 unlike I5, so not sure how that'd turn out. If there's I6N, I'd go with that for sure. I'd be really torn bw I5N for that reason. I just hope that I wouldn't exceed my expectation too much, like VN DCT did, which I ended up buying after two test drives haha

    The HDA2 is clearly inferior to other driving assistants here in Germany/Austria. If you rely on the automatic speed adjustments you will get tickets, because it starts to adjust the speed at/after the sign. If you approach a construction zone or a tunnel, you end up 20-30Km/h too fast in the limit zone. With Audi/Mercedes/BMW you are at the right speed at the limit sign. Some systems show you even the following limits and distances to them.

    Very nice car, hope they fix the 2 big issues with ioniq5, the real world consumption and the integrated navigation system. On ioniq5, it is not able to plan a route and tell you where to plug and with how many percent of battery you have to refill, and how many left at destination. That s a big big miss for an EV car here in Europe. Tesla does it, Mercedes does it, BMW does it, Renault does it with Google automotive, polestar does it.

    I don't see the point in having digital side mirrors when they stick out twice as far as a regular mirror. I get that maybe they eliminate blind spots but you could do that with a convex mirror. The thing that makes DSMs relevant is that they can be small and thus reduce drag.

      Tough call, I’d say because IONIQ 6 sacrificed quite a lot of space for that pebble shape allowing them to reach lowest Cd in HMG family of 0.21 Cd. Being said, the trunk isn’t as large as it could’ve been with the outrageous wheelbase. The inside cabin will be feel much larger for sure though. I would strongly recommend that you see both cars in person prior to making decisions.

    • @CarSceneKorea
      @CarSceneKorea  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was also curious about that too, indeed. IONIQ 6 put that there on purpose because not only does that provide more room to both the driver and passenger, but it also enables a lot of space for designers to play with. Having the buttons in the center gets rid of a must space required to install window buttons which has physical limitations to reducing the size. Had it not been for such reposition, the door designs would've been impossible. Simply put, the effort was all about making the room inside the car more spacious, hence providing that personal space and experience within.

      It'd be all up to the customer. I'm sure Hyundai is doing their best to deliver their cars asap and they're are very well aware of what the delays would do to customers.
