Lav Diaz, I highly admire your work but I think it's time you re-assess your perception of Pres. Duterte. I understand where you're coming from but there is a common Filipino perspective that goes beyond your activist's viewpoint. No, Duterte never idolized the Marcoses. In fact, he refused to endorse PBBM in the last elections. His relationship with the Marcoses is more than meets the eye and I get it personally. (Heads up: I'm an anti-Marcos myself, having been part of Martial gen myself). For one, how can an anti-Duterte explain the fact that he has become more popular after he stepped down, myself included? Your viewpoint implies that we, more than 80% of the populace, are ignorant for not aligning with your views.
