Sterlo is the most likeable bloke in rugby league. I watched him play and he was a real wizard of a player with skill toughness and guts. After league he was probably the most unbiased best commentator of all time! Wonderful man wonderful player most humble person ever. I feel so privileged to see, listen and watch him grow old. Sterlo looks alot more relaxed - he's done his time in the game and good to see he's enjoying 'time out'. Brett Kenny ... the things he did in the 80s were amazing (see the '85 challenge cup final ... hands in his pockets before shaking hands with royalty). He inspired many kids during that period to fall in love with the game.
So many potential immortals right here......Sterlo SHOULD BE NEXT 😊
In 1986, I was in year 11. That Parra team was the best I've ever seen. Grothe, Ella, Cronin, Kenny, Sterling, Price, with backups like Mosely, Wynn, Muggleton, Taylor, Liddiard. Seriously the best club team ever put together at one time in one place.

What a team…pre salary cap talent. This eels team, and the Raiders in ‘89-94, are the best modern era teams I’ve seen. Eric Grothe better than Sailor and Tuqiri, Kenny better than Lewis, Price better than Pearce, Cronin an absolute legend, and Stereo conducting the orchestra. Brilliant.
Broncos of ‘92-‘98 are easily the match of the Eels teams of the 80s.
Sterlo kenny and price and cronin should already be immortals
