5 sessions of this. My whells run away😂😂. But i don't have regret bcoz it's save my life or prevent me from hit the pedestrians who change direction suddenly
I watched 00:03 a zillion times bc 1. that's the funniest thing I've seen someone do on skates and 2. the amount of control and skill it takes to do that is insane Thank you for this, will try! Excited for more long form vidssss!!🔥🔥
Been trying this on and off for a while with your video and others, my first set of skates are 2nd hand, K2 Trio 100s, and is 270mm a long wheel base for beginners 🤷♂️ I want to blame the wheels or the fact its not a hard boot but have a feeling its more of a stance form or mental block for me. Need to keep my skates closer around the turn and really stay on the wheel edges. Thanks for the tip with using cones, i'll keep at it for you, Beard!
@@russl7085 you definitely got this! Sometimes it’s the surface you’re practicing on as well! If you can find a smooth surface like in a skatepark it will be easier for you to
thanks for the tip. Here from shorts video. literally at 1 am after practising in a parking lot for like 2 hours. I hurt my hip bone because I kept falling. Will try to put my weight on the front leg next time as you suggested.. will that be innner or outer leg?
@@shifuugincii you’re welcome!! Ah be careful and make sure to rest up if you get hurt! You don’t want to seriously injure yourself 🙏🏽 the outer leg but try to keep your head over your skates and bend your knees, it will naturally make your more balance and keep your weight slightly forward.. you also don’t want to be too much in front or you will fall forward
@@rollerbearding im on the healing now. i rested a bit. feeling good. I always wear protection but I've now also invested in crash pants. they're coming soon. can't wait to go practise tonight. I need to master an emergency stop because I live in quite a hilly area.
I can do it on the nordic skis on a snow easily, i can do this on the skates on an ice easily, but the rollerblades on an asphalt... damn, it is the hardest thing. Friction so high, type of a surfaces and their quality are vary.
So if I've understood correctly, the "power stop" is just turning into a sharp turn as if to make a U-turn? Or is it something else ? (Bc I still can’t picture the power stop in my head)

Does this wear out the wheels a lot?

What gear can protect the bone above the butt? The tailbone
Superb 🔥🔥

nice, just when I need rollerblading chunin 😉
@@kavitronplays5083 here for ya 🥷🏾😁
what about wheel hardness? if you have soft wheels then power slides are way more difficult or even impossible
Very good to know, my wheels are a very wierd softness
thanks a lot for the sharing! by the way, how is your set up your skate? flat or rockered? 80s? 90s?
You’re welcome! Glad I can help! In this video I have rockered frames with 100mm wheels. I’d recommend trying the powerstop on 80mm wheels before🙌🏽

Yes by adding a heel push you create the slide motion and it will make you stop 🙌🏽

you look so cool
what park is that ?
Marcel Laurin Park
Topppp
Idk, i guess dat's paralles stop/slide, not power stop.
Both are one and the same..
Bearded men are banned from skating. It is highly dangerous for public safety
Power stop is not a hockey stop man. Hockey stop is parallel slide.
Better go ask Bill Stoppard what powerstop actually is😂
Yeah, guess what. This is a parallel slide. It’s. A type of power stop. Get over yourself.
you sound like the douche at the park nobody wants to be around
Thé next trick o want to learn is how to look and sound as cool as you! 😉
😆🙏🏽 thanks!
