    One thing I forgot to add in the video!
    If we're being asked by James Gunn himself to "ignore" the appearance of the Justice League in Peacemaker season one, the canon issue of fitting The Batman into the DCU shouldn't be a problem lmao!
    Gunn considers the events of The Flash to be the official, in universe, resetting of the DCU. It was essentially a crisis. Technically, since The Batman came out a year before The Flash, it stands to reason that the resetting didn't only affect the DCEU but the Reevseverse!
    Eitherway, excited to see what happens with the DCU. The finale to Creature Commandos was great.

      I always kinda hated the inconsistencies in what Gunn said and what we saw in The Flash. In his words like you said, it’s the restart, but it’s not actually restarted, ezra was there, momoa too, the only thing that was changed and not even reseted was George Clooney. WB upper management, therefore Gunn too, asked the ending to be changed so it wouldn’t tease a future, but it still did. We got a post credit scene too, something Sony removed in their new movies to indicate they’re not planning on continuing. We also got a cliffhanger ending with George Clooney. The DCEU still exists.

      @t74guard78 22 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      I can imagine Robert playing Ironman no problem. Please MCU take him away. Pattinson can not be the Batman in the DCU. No more skinny, weakly looking Batman. That is not who the Batman in the comics is. Affleck was the first and only Batman that was the Batman in the comics. The new one there is only one logical choice. Alan Ritchson period. Big and intimidating. Pattinson couldn't intimidated a 4 year old in a haunted house on halloween. I know if I was a bad guy and saw a Pattinson Batman in a dark alley, I would first laugh my ass off and secondly, ask him, "Whatcha gonna do little man?" Same situation with a Ritchson Batman first off I wouldn't be laughing and secondly, I wouldn't be asking him any questions. We need the Batman from the comics which is at least 6'2" and 220lbs +. We need one that when standing next to a woman is taller and has bigger shoulders. A Bruce Wayne that looks like that also. In other words, a Batman who makes the batsuit look big instead of the batsuit making him look big. Please MCU, take Pattinson for your Ironman. He would be perfect.

    Matt reeves Batman and Gotham contrast so well with James gunn’s Superman and metropolis just like they do in the comics. Matt reeves has this rich fleshed out world of Gotham and a good fleshed out Batman.
    If they end up going with another version of Batman they have to be confident that the casting, performance, story, and Gotham are gonna be loved with audiences because if not it will really damage the image of the DCU especially when they already have a great version of Batman that’s loved by audiences but that’s not connected to the DCU. The batman part 2 is literally coming out in 2027 so by the time battinson would make it to a team up film, he would already be 40. • @t74guard78
      @t74guard78 22 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      @@ItNotOkAnymore I made it clear what I am on about. Yes he is bigger than Keaton and Bale and they are not the best versions of Batman. Keaton is one of my favorite actors and he had the best batsuit and batmobile but was way to small. The way Bale looked in his last batsuit was ridiculous. He looked like a pencil neck and Batman is no pencil neck. I didn't say Keaton and Bale was bigger than Pattinson. I said all of them except Affleck were all to small to play Batman. Your obviously a movie Batman fan and not a true comic book Batman fan. The real Batman, as far as comic book characters can be, is big and scary and intimidating. None of the actors who have played Batman are big and scary and intimidating except Affleck. I just want whoever plays Batman to look like he does in the comics. Affleck is the only one that did that. None of the actors except Affleck could man handle the bad guys like Affleck did in the warehouse fight in B v S. That was the first time I felt like I was watching the real Batman in live action. I have been a Batman fan and been reading the comics for over 50 years. I know who Batman is suppose to be. Those who only know Batman from the movies have no idea who he is suppose to be. If Batman was the size of Keaton, Kilmer, Cloony, Bale or Pattinson, he wouldn't last a couple of nights in the streets of Gotham City. They are to small and wouldn't have the durability a Affleck Batman has. That is one of the reasons he is big in the comics. 170lbs Batman would get eaten alive by the criminals of Gotham City. I know we are talking about a fictional character but it just isn't realistic. Batman doesn't need to be reversed. He needs to be the Batman in the comics. Why change who he is? People love him because of who he is and that just isn't small and weak. I stated it a couple times. If Keaton, Kilmer, Cloony, Bale or Pattinson were in the shot at the end of JL standing next to Superman and Aquaman and even Wonder Woman, it would look terrible. Batman would look weak and pathetic next to those characters. Is the Hulk or Thor or Superman or Aquaman small, thin actors in the movies? No they aren't because they are not in the comics. The actors chosen for every comic book character in the movies have been as close as they can get to the comics except Batman. Only Affleck looked the way Batman should. If you don't look the part, you can't be the part. WB has done a really good job casting actors and actresses to play the villians with the exception of Tom Hardy playing Bane. Hardy is a great actor but Bane is 6'7" and weighs 350lbs. Hardy isn't even close to that. It wouldn't surprise me if WB makes the huge mistake of putting Pattinson Batman in the DCU. They have fucked up most of the things involving Batman movies. They are only 1 for 6 in casting for who plays Batman. That sucks so it wouldn't surprise me if they fuck up once again by doing that. We need an actor playing Batman that looks like Batman should. That can man handle the bad guys like Affleck did and not look pathetic standing next to Superman and Aquaman or even Wonder Woman. As I said before, we need someone who makes the batsuit look big not someone who looks kind of big because of the batsuit. I am just praying WB will get it right this time and leave Pattinsons Batman where it belongs, out of the DCU. Ritchson is the only logical choice. He will truly bring the comic book Batman to live action. Besides, if WB fucks up again, then the Brave and Bold Batman won't be made and we are stuck with Pattinson Batman who isn't going to bring in Robin anytime soon. Which is another of the WB fuck ups. Robin is just as much a part if not bigger than the batcave, batmobile and even Alfred. He has always been there. The Brave and the Bold is bringing in Robin even though they skipped the first 3 which Dick and Tim were the best Robins. They are bringing in Nightwing who should have already been included if not having his own movie. The only time they brought in Robin they made him out to be a whinny little bitch and that is not who Dick Grayson is. HE is a better character than Bruce Wayne is. That is all the explaining I need to do. I have had this argument with a couple other people and it is a waste of time cause they are only movie Batman fans and have no idea who Batman is suppose to be. Reverse the roles clearly shows me that you have no idea who Batman is suppose to be. HE DOESN'T NEED TO BE FUCKING REVERSED. BATMAN IS NOT 170LBS. BATMAN IS SUPPOSE TO BE BIG AND SCARY AND INTIMIDATING. Pattinson is none of those things so he is not Batman. He wouldn't last a couple of nights in the streets of Gotham City. Not if it is done realistically or as realistic as they can with a comic book character. We are done here. NO need to reply. I have no patience left with movie Batman fans.

    I dont think an idea of two Batmen at the same time is too crazy. This isn't a Sony/Marvel situation where it's two studios are trying to use the same character in their own cinematic universe. Its easy enough to understand these characters are inherently different especially since the DCU's Batman would be around 31-40 and Battinson is in his late-20s realistically. Not only that but DCU's Batman just needs a different suit, fantastical villains, and more fantastical atmosphere and BOOM! easy to distinguish.

      The planned "The Brave And The Bold" movie(I *really* hope that they come up with a more suitable title, like "Batman And Son") could be established as taking place many years after the handful of years that the early DC Gunnverse(I refuse to call it "the DC Universe" as that's too non-specific of a name for it) take place during and 20-something years after Bruce started his crimefighting career. James Gunn is supposedly planning to do a whole "jumping around to different points in the timeline" thing with the DC Gunnverse franchise.

    Personally I don't like it. I don't see any issue with having two Batman. If you just want Patinson's Batman in this universe, I have no problem with that argument. But saying it would be too confussing...? If they state that there are two different Batman that don't share the same cinematic universe, people WILL UNDERSTAND what's going on. You're not giving people enough credit, movie viewers are not stupid. Specially after all the multiverse movies we've had. With X-Men, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Flashpoint, Deadpool we've seen multiple iterations of different characters, with and without shareing universes. We had two Flashes existing at the same time in different media, even two Superman and that happend twice, once with Brandon Routh and Tom Welling, and just now with Henry Cavill and Tyler Hoechlin. It's probably a lot easier for the studio to just have one Batman, but saying it would be too confussing is just not a compeling argument. ALSO, since when do we not want more Batman stories, we'd get double the Batman content

Are we really gonna get back to back Mr. Freezes?" I see the ups and downs for both sides but in the end I think they should merge. Batman and Gotham have always contrasted with the rest of the DC universe so the Matt Reeves Batman films being "too dark" isn't even an issue. The movies should all have differne tones. But if Matt doesn't wanna do it then I hope they respect his wishes.

    Gunn came with some non-negotiable conditions. Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) from suicide squad is DCU canon. Bring her into the Arkham Series (Matt Reeves) as a Psychiatrist and do her storyline right.
    Gunn will bring us Dave Bautista as Bane. We already have the green adrenaline from the first movie. A non goofy fantastical Mr.Freeze for Pattison's batman would be great. We have Scarecrow from The Penguin.
    Can you imagine an actual unstoppable zombie Talon nemesis?

    I personally agree with you on how we can realistically merge Battinson into the main DCU. Aside from disliking solo Batman universes, I did notice some fantastical elements in The Batman, including Batman flying in the air when surviving an explosion and even gliding. Plus, seeing an experienced Batman teaming up with Super Corenswet would feel a little out of place considering their age differences. I also want to point out, since you mentioned how the first Iron Man movie was grounded before becoming more fantastical, Daredevil did start off as a Street-Level character in the Netflix Series before appearing in MCU projects like Spider-Man: No Way Home. With that in mind, DC, James Gunn, and Matt Reeves should take notes from MCU Daredevil on how they can properly integrate Battinson into the main DCU.

    Damn dude. Making the batman epic crime saga a prequel to the brave and the bold is just brilliant. The Batman part 3 can end with bruce truly becoming a perfect version of the character through the development in the first 3 movies and the brave and the bold can time jump to a moment when he is old enough to be damian. That’s just the best way. Also side note, even if The Batman never becomes dcu I would really hate it to remain grounded…. Like grounded Batman should have been a one and done thing. As for the grounded batman take and "its not true batman" while it is indeed not true batman to the comics. the character has evolved and the movies are its own thing which may have different appeals to different kinds of people. The grounded batman can appeal to non comic book fans because there are a lot who like the character but does not like the comic bookyness story. In short this gives DC a double strategy, one for comic book fans and one for grounded and different genre fans.

    Great video. One thing of note: A Bit of Everything made a video that showed proof that The Batman takes place in 2019. When you add up what day and date that Patterson says at the start as well as the eviction date on Catwoman's letter. So that puts it at 6 years before Superman so it would fit fine there. I can't remember where I heard but I swear it's been rumoured that TB Part 2 will take place like two months after he first film so it should be able to contain itself and still fit. Also, I never understand why people say it's too grounded. The Penguin survives a car getting flipped like three times, no broken bones or owt.

Hence why i don't support battinson being integrated to the DCU of james Gunn it robs people of options. IM pretty sure Gunn can think of something for his own version of batman. Just say Gotham is a less evolved City because of the corruption. The city is corporately stuck in the year the Wayne’s were assassinated. While time moved forward, the city remained in the past. Metropolis, and all the bigger cities were more advanced and had metahumans debut earlier. Bruce Wayne’s ability to keep up with metahumans is what leads to his Gotham city evolving after Batman starts teaming up with other heroes. This would explain why the Batman had its own timeless tone even though it’s clearly set in the modern world. It would also make the penguin series more interesting because it’s about Gotham citizens struggling to rise to power and then all of a sudden these people are introduced who have abilities that give them the upper hand in political situations. Think of it like when in Spider-Man homecoming the villains starting using Alien technology to empower themselves.

    Pattinson should be in the DCU. No
    he's not too grounded. Batman year one was a major influence for the Batman and that Batman is about the same level of capability as Pattinson and yet it's also the same version who's on the justice league and encounters darkseid. Saying the Batman is too grounded is like saying a third of Batman's history can't coexist with the rest.
    Plus Pattinson wants to do fantastical Batman.
    He said that repeatedly in interviews and he doesn't need to be limited by reeves' approach.
    He'll also be 41 by the time Batman 2 comes out and there's plenty of room for him to have a bat family. Batb could be scrapped and we do the bat family down the road. Batman and Superman should be peers. Batman should not be substantially older than Superman.

    No Pattinson in the DCU period. Pattinson is not like the Batman in the comics. In the comics, Batman is 6'2" and weighs between 210 - 220lbs. Pattinson is close in height, 6'1" but way to skinny probably 170lbs tops. There is no way a 170lbs Batman would last night after night in the streets of Gotham City. He just wouldn't have the durability. We need a new Batman and not Jensen either. NO MORE SKINNY BATMAN. When Affleck became Batman I said to myself when I first saw him on the screen, "FINALLY NOW THAT IS BATMAN." Then the warehouse fight scene made me smile from ear to ear and get goose pimples. Again I said, "FINALLY NOW THAT IS BATMAN." After all these years and the miscasting of Batman, The Batman from the comics made his first appearance on the big screen. Finally WB got it right after 4 bad choices to play Batman they got it right. Then of course they fucked it up again with Pattinson. Keaton, Kilmer, Bale and Pattinson are all very good actors but they are just not Batman. We need a Batman that can man handle the bad guys like Affleck did in B v S. None of the other actors could do that. Jensen was good voice acting Batman but he would just be another to small and weak looking actor and WE DON'T NEED THAT ANYMORE. Only 1 out of 6 was correct. IN Baseball, that is a .166 batting average which sucks. There is only one logical choice to be the next Batman and it is Alan Ritchson. We would finally get the comic book Batman and that is what all true Batman fans want. A big, scary and intimidating Batman. If I saw the Keaton Batman, Kilmer Batman, especially the Bale Batman or the Pattinson Batman in a dark alley I would laugh my ass off at each and every one of them. Then I would ask each one, "What are you going to do little man?" If it was the Affleck Batman or hopefully the Ritchson Batman, then ok I would be a bit worried. You talking the JL. Just imagine anyone of those other actors standing next to Superman and Aquaman and even Wonder Woman in that shot at the end of JL. They would make Batman look small and weak. That is not Batman. Affleck made him look big and strong like he is suppose to look. Pattinson wouldn't look good standing next to Superman or Aquaman or even Wonder Woman. The last thing I want to say is "NO MORE UNDERSIZED BATMAN. WE WANT BIG AND INTIMIDATING FOR BATMAN."

    I take any "rumor" or "report" with a grain of salt. Unless it's coming straight from the horse's mouth, I assume that it can be false.
    Going off what I've heard directly from Matt Reeves and James Gunn, it sounds like there's no plan to fold the BECS into the DCU, and that The Brave and the Bold is still happening, alongside The Batman: Part II, but neither script has been completely finished yet. Part II is close enough to being finished for Reeves to be confident that he'll start shooting at some point this year, but he didn't say it was completely finished.
    When directly asked the other day, Reeves did indicate that he's not completely closed off to the idea of merging the worlds, but it didn't sound like that's something that's being actively considered at this time. And if The Brave and the Bold happens soon enough, it won't be.
    Personally...I don't feel strongly about it one way or the other. If TBATB falls apart and if Matt Reeves really wants to play in the bigger sandbox, then let's see what that's like, but if he's not excited about that idea, I'd rather see that he maintains control over his universe and that the DCU Batman is differentiated enough from his style that the two franchises can coexist peacefully. There's already a DCU Clayface movie in pre-production.

    The batman may be grounded batman has started off grounded fighting gangsters and crim bosses but as time went on his rogues gallery grew into supernatural vilians. It's like batman getting blown up point blank or getting shot at point blank by machine guns fans don't care but pattinson joining the justice league is where they draw the line.
    I can tell these fans haven't watched anything besides the batman or even read any comics. Matt Reeves is building his own batman universe it would be such a waste to not use that within the dcu. It's just gonna be a mess honestly having two people, two batmen having two universes together clashing.
    One universe is the crime saga and the other batman is the dcu justice league stuff. I can understand if james gunn and wb are now questioning this decision will it interfere with both universes clashing them. The batman can keep its tone in the dcu james gunn has said different projects will have different tones.

      hope they dont bring matt reeves batman into DCU, Not everyone likes the whole Cinematic universe or comic book like approach. What Matt reeves offers is the crime saga while yes its still based on a comic book character the tone and set up of the universe feels different compared to your typical comic book movie. NOt everything needs to be connected and not everyone will be a fan of it. Matt reeves having his own take on the characters gives DC a double strategy. One the appeals to normal movie goers who may like the character but not exactly the comic book style stories and the one that appeals to the traditional comic accurate versions of them. We already have a huge rivalry with the snyder cults this wont be any different its very inevitable. SO just let matt reeves batman and his crim saga elseworlds approach stick to their own and let james gunn cook with his own universe. Matt reeves can have the Gothic and low fantasy vibes in his universe. Let it be messy, people can choose what they want to watch, seriously people need to learn to stop being consumers and always finding the need to watch everything. If there would be 2 movie universes they can only choose 1 to follow. Its the beauty of elseworlds you give the consumer an option.

    Your idea whilst not bad could still interfere with Matt's vision though because the future would already be set in stone so matt would have to make sure nothing is contradictory and there's also a decent chance he already has an idea of how his trilogy will end. But if they make the timeline more linear and have the crime saga take place at the same time as superman not only would it have the same problem as before it would also mean we'd probably have to wait like a decade to get the whole batfamily and that would just be insane. And besides GA may get confused but it's not a particularly tough concept to grasp I could see them getting use to it. And I'd also love to see another actor take a shot at batman(not jensen though he's too old maybe someone like Brandon sklenar) preferably a batman with a black/blue and grey suit with white eyes.

    Bro it’s just called Elseworlds stories, if you were a comic book fan you would know that. 2 batman’s is fine, two universes, two stories. not confusing

      @ cause maybe it’s not about “making more cash” and it’s about making good stories that support the characters like JG said.🙄
