There's several points in the video where there's some weird pixelation that shimmer across the "Sun". Between 9:52 and 9:55 for example. Just wondering what that is, editing effect or evidence of tomfoolery? Also, there's a guy I stumbled across on here that did a video on this expedition (doesn't show much) that suggests that the whole thing was done in a studio inside something like the Vegas Sphere. I think he's right. Just like the "moon landings", the horizons seem too close and crisp, no shadows of mountains (you already showed the weird shadow effects at the base), the sun itself moving high and too close, etc. There's too much going on.

Around 6:25 + 9:21 in your video here: Notice, how the shadows of the camera tripods points in different directions with a difference of about 110 degrees. That's certainly NOT the result of parallel sunrays from giant distant sun, but is instead the result of a fairly close small local light source/sun! +9:30 I count shadows, which are going in at least 4 different directions at the same time!

Just like the way, the sun rays spreads out in different directions, when shining through the clouds, disproves the same. Why would you even need to use a wide angle lens in such a time lapse, when the sun is supposed to be the main focus of attention? Sadly most globe fans are buying thise fake nonsense - hook, line and sinker - because they wish so much, that their foundational belief system, the "science" dogma, really is true. - in that sense the TFE group sadly achieved exactly, what they attempted to achieve. The sun goes from ‘squished’ down/oblong sideways over the mountains @ the low point, to oblong up & down, to squished down/oblong sideways again @ high point, back to oblong up & down, and then back to squashed down/oblong sideways again??? Also, with your filters on…I definitely observe some of those straight lines you mentioned as well when zooming in. Last, there is some high strangeness going on with all of the shadows (divergent shadows; missing shadows; much different shadow lengths within short periods of time, etc.) in this video and in all of their other posted videos. You can't see the shadows of the mountains because they're many miles away from the mountains, and they're up on an elevated position. The main camp they were at is between the camera and the mountains, and we couldn't even see it. It's because the camera is at a higher vantage point and there's a hill between the camera and the camp. To see the shadow of the mountains, we need to see the footage from the main camp

I think chasing these shadow observations or anomalies is just a silly distraction. Dave weiss recently repicated this shadow stretching or widening here in a parking lot in the US. To be clear, I'm not dumping on this video in particular. Just the topic in general. I appreciate you looking into this so called Final Experiment though. I still think we should analyze and scrutinize all the footage, just not imply that it's fake. Perhaps the shadow anomalies reveal that the sun isnt exactly as is it appears
I'm addressing that on a video I'm doing at the moment. People don't understand 360º Cameras, and I'm no expert, but some of the claims are incorrect. I've spoken to some behind the scenes about it already to try set it straight. Let's just say I'm playing devils advocate. I'm onto this one already. Making a new vid as I write this, using the 4K vid. The HOLE thing is bogus IMO!!! We have to remember that this video is not the sun timelapse, but a camera videoing the camera that is s'posedly timelapsing the 24hr sun. It can get a bit discombobulating as they're using 360º Camera as well.
