But he found he could not continue in that sordid life and credits God with turning him around. So he really meant what he wrote in this song. He became a minister for the last two decades of his life. The British Parliament and Royal Navy put an end to slave trading in the 19th century throughout the Western hemisphere. A truly noble endeavour.

It truly is excellent and shows how the rich people who controlled the British Parliament had to be basically tricked so that Wilberforce's bill could be pushed through while they were off at the race track! There have been a _lot_ of Parliamentary reforms since then! Yet one is left to wonder if politicians ever really do repent?

To me, I have always been attracted to her hand gestures and motions when she sings. It's amazing how this tiny South Korean with the biggest heart in the universe has restored my faith in God. In Lean On Me, Sohyang sings about friendship. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be friends with Sohyang. I would like to see reactions from the "Begin Again Korea" series on Vimeo. Can't get enough of her. Sorry for rambling. Looking for more in the near future.
