It's like she bends a note to the point of sounding "not right" and the brings it back. She is the most unusual singer in that regard for me. I love it but it might be too much for a strong traditionalist. I like it. I grew up with the other which can boring unless you 'felt' the singer really knew what they were singing about. Her ability to make the changes she does and as quickly as she does leaves you swimming in your brain. The fact that she never misses any of those notes is like a roller coaster that makes a lot of quick changes of direction it can make you feel almost giddy, this would be even better live. I love watching her sing and how big her mouth gets when she really is going after it. Some singers can make some of the worst faces when singing but like Morissette and a couple others that escape me at the moment, oh, Daneliya Tuleshova sing, I call it, pretty and I just love watching them sing especially when they are getting into their performances. So Hyang is another singer who, just when you think she has finally run out of notes she could possibly hit then she goes and hits the one you never thought she could hit. Morissette often does this too. Anyway thanks for bringing this to us and your insights to her singing.

It’s different to her other performances as it’s not for a contest and no demand to showcase her entire vocal range. it’s a song she’s wrote herself, subdued and low-key, and reveals her vulnerability - a side I’ve never seen of her before. It’s just her with a mic , a piano, acoustic guitar and an icy chandelier. If you love SoHyang, Dimash, Angelina Jordan, Pentatonix type of music, I'm sure you will love Forestella as well. If you like Sohyang you really should venture into the Masked Singer songs too. Mona Lisa, Home, Breathe are each epic.
