This webinar was a discussion based on Martin Schulze Wessel’s recent book “The Curse of the Empire. Ukraine, Poland, and the Aberration in Russian History” (Original German title: “Der Fluch des Imperiums. Die Ukraine, Polen und der Irrweg in der russischen Geschichte”). It was jointly organised by the German-Ukrainian Historical Commission, the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies as well as the Ukrainian scholarly journal Ukraina Moderna and took place on 26 October 2023.
