2023 - wonderful concert every which way. Fantastic, handsome Mr. Perry again. I grew up watching his TV show. How he enriched or lives. Me Irish relatives did great here also. Thanks!
One of the most touching moments in the history of music when he comes back on stage after the little drummer boy to sing And I love you so. He was feeling very bad and wasn't himself. After a long wait he came to perform the song with such a control and vitality. For a while it was 70s again. He made the crowd giving two applauds during that song because it was such a huge comeback. Watching that makes me in tears, such a heart warming moment

I've only just found this video! I was in that choir behind Mr Como and can confirm it took 4 hours to record and we stood for all 4 of those hours as we had no chairs. But I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. We sang in many shows in Ireland but this was the first international show we did and working with musical director Nick Perito was an honour. It's a night I will never forget. I was 24 then and I'm 48 now and I still remember all the rehearsals as well as the show itself. Perry Como was very ill that night and lucky to get through the show and I believe sadly it was one of his last live performances.

What a great find seeing this last Christmas concert for Perry Como. Like seeing a ballplayer's last at bat after a long successful career hitting a home run.
