Grubb scares me a bit because part of the reason he was fired from Seattle was because he neglected the running game. That won't go over well here, especially since our running game suffered so much with Milroe hogging the carries. We'll see.
Milroe wasn’t asking for all those carries. I don’t know if you folks just intentionally ignored the obvious or you’re just blind but, we struggled running the ball with our running backs, because our blockers up front struggled to do their jobs. The only way we could run the ball effectively, was by using the running backs as an extra blocker, to pick up the guy that was continuously tackling them, when they were carrying the ball. The QB can’t be the lead blocker and hand the ball off to the running backs. It just isn’t possible. So that leaves you with one option. To have the running backs lead the way for the QB to run the ball. And if the opposing team has guys who can execute, and their coach has enough sense to call it correctly, the offense will still lose what advantage that created, solely because the big guys up front are losing their 1 on 1 blocking assignments. Milroe wasn’t the problem. He was the only possible answer to the problems that were being created by the rest of the team.
Dude what are you talking about…he was the offensive coordinator in 2023 at Washington with 2 receivers with 1,000 and a 1000 yd running back…do your research instead of just commenting brother…how many 1,000 yd running backs did bama have last year??? How many receivers had a 1,000 yds…Seattle sucks period…
@@HawgWyldFishing as soon as you said “Milroe wasn’t the problem” you lost all credibility, maybe you didn’t see how many times he checked out of the play with 5 seconds left, anytime you snap at 1 second the defense is ready to tee off
You are absolutely correct 💯, and to back up your assessment to these Milroe haters. Look Haynes and Miller had a combine more carries behind the same oline as Milroe did but had less TDS rushing than milroe, the stats don't lie but people can't get pass their hate of Jalen. Likewise a lot of our wr, te, running backs, ol, and others are leaving, if Milroe was such a problem than why are these guys leaving if a better option at QB was behind Milroe?
Ty will be the starter. DeBoer loves Ty. He's excited to get Ty on the field. This is from the staff. Not some opinion Ty was a 5 ⭐ as well. Keelon Russell doesn't have it between the ears yet per his HS coach.
Ty has never thrown a TD pass in 3 years at Bama even against the opponent 2nd and 3rd stringers! One common opponent Milroe and Ty shared was USF, in that game Milroe had 2 passing TD and Ty had 0 when he played against them.
Ty MAY be the starter….he is very capable, but he will have to earn it….nothing is guaranteed! Keelon is the real deal too. Problem is no discipline, O-line and O-Coordinator. Job is to big for Sheridan. He has never heard of a play action pass🙄
I agree 💯 Bama will lose more and more with deboer! Buy him out and find a better coach! A lot of the offense is leaving along with Milroe so what does that tell you to people who said that Milroe was the problem. The ones leaving have no faith in our backup QBs as well as in our coaches if they did they would still be there since they knew Milroe was going to NFL!!
We need winners not losers. Keep searching Roll Tide

Seahawks O-line was trash though

We will have an ENTIRELY new Coaching staff in '26 so we just have to Endure.

Keel on is special. If the o line gets fixed we will have a special year.
The offense sucks, DeBoer doesn't have deballs to bench Millie, so naturally you fire the safeties coach, right? WTF is happening with this program?
We definitely need to get better on the OL i just don't think coach Kap is the man for the Job
sheridan is NOT the answer. the playcalling was dysfunctional
Sheridan as OC at IU in 2021 was 2-10, averaging 10.4 points per game.
The first half vs Georgia
We need qb coach ...separate from the Oc ...both have to concentrate on just that position and hire Scott huff ROLL tide
We need an entirely new staff
@@Jameywells777No we don’t

He let Ty play 1 snap in the laugher vs OU.
Ty is not guaranteed a starting spot it will be a 3 way competition

Yes bring Grubb and add Scott huff Alabama Rolltide 💪🏿 elephant with qb coach ...
Bama in dire straits when it comes to money? When did Bama become poor?
I would expect Mack to win the starting job over Ty.
As long as the Current Coach is in Tuscaloosa we are doomed to fail.
The dumbest comment of the day 😂😂😂
