I'm confused by where all of these comments on every video I've seen opening these. So many people complained that the "four packs" are "too expensive." Now it seems like everyone wants a box. Lol. I'm looking forward to Mana Vault in etched foil and borderless foil. Force of Negation in borderless foil is also up there for me. The only textured card I want is the Liliana. I'd be happy with anything else just because I love this set in general. That's why I bought so much of it two months ago. I should be getting my cases later this week.

Video was wildly entertaining, first time watching the channel! I opened a box of collectors...my big pulls were: imperial seal - borderless, concordant crossroads - borderless foil, mana drain - borderless foil, and dockside extortionist - foil etched ... those textured eldrazi's omg! Want one of those!
I’d love to pull an Imperial Seal borderless foil, but I’d also be happy with Dockside Extortionist, Mana Drain, Teferi’s Protection, textured foil card, etc..

Haven't heard for sure, but goodness I hope they're reprinting Evolving wilds. I would literally be in tears, I've only been able to pull one and it helped pay my college tuition.
how did a single evolving wilds help pay for tuition? Barring an entire pack of league promo's, I'm not seeing any single foil over like 5 dollars.

Never felt such a FOMO in my life, so i had to preorder another box yesterday. The value hits are all over the place.

Truly amazing videos, and I cannot wait to open my draft and collector boxes this friday! I got in at my LGS for 275 (tax included) on the draft and 255 (tax included) on the collector. Crazy excited!!
Wow, another case opened yet Liliana Textured foil still survives - no one has pulled it yet and I've seen all box openings on youtube so far! And only the 2nd Damnation etched foil pulled on camera! These 2 cards must go in value more than the others!

I did pull a lilianna from a baldurs Gate pack! I got it on video too sense we are a low budget channel, one collector pack Is worth recording and boy I'm glad I did!

Honestly! There are so many staples in this set that I missed out on being newer to the game! But my #1 is kozilek, #2 is Manadrain, #3 is Ulamog, #4 is Phyrexian Alter! Thanks for being the big papa!
The sad thing is a lot of these cards are going to plummet in value. The Textured cards are going to be the neon ink equivalent and they will maintain value as they are harder to pull. But other cards I have seen many boxes opened already and Force of Negation, Wrenn and Six, Imperial seal are plentiful. So many foil and etched version of them pulled. Expect price to drop.
That's a good thing. People want to play with these cards and making all the good cards super expensive gives a huge advantage to wealthy players. With more reasonable prices the game will be more fun and accessible to more people

I really want a borderless foil Imperial Seal. Not because it's the high dollar card, but because I love Mark Tedin's art and I have a deck that would love to run another tutor in it since I already have Demonic, Vampiric and Grim Tutor in it and also Diabolic Intent.
I have a draft box and a collector box pre ordered from my LGS but I'm going to Command Fest Indianapolis this weekend so i have to wait until at least Monday to pick up my boxes but I'm really hoping to open a Mana Vault for one of my decks. I paid $40 for a preview event and i went 2-3 and walked away with about $200 in value from all my rares/mythics! Fun event! I can't wait to do more drafts at Command Fest

Definitely want the imperial seal for my commander deck. I am going to disagree with you on every card "tanking" however. Yes, prices will drop, but not to the extent we've seen recently. There's a few different factors this go around: lower print run is first and foremost, there's just not as much as people think there is. Second, masters tend to hold value better. And third, going along with number 1, is that I think some of the flashy variants are harder to pull than you think, especially the textured.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the cards going down is not the only option, the packs can also go up to reflect the value.
Regarding etched foils, they are ONLY in collectors packs. Baldurrs gate dropped because they were included in the cheap set packs. $70 vs $7. Not sure exactly, but 2X2 has twice the number of etched foil cards.
I'd like to see a textured card, but I'm loving the art on the full art Smoothering tithe!
I would love to open ANY of the Etched-Foil Eldrazi cards. They are so unique.
I recently started back on playing magic after a good 18yr. break and fell in love with the Eldrazi so I’m hoping especially to pull a Kozilek but wouldn’t mind the other titans! Love seeing you open some DM22. You doing my fave pack openings!

Hoping to pull a Creakwood Liege. Yeah, it isn't that exciting, but it is something that I've been wanting to replace after my collection (that had 3 creakwoods in it) ate it into a muddy flooded ditch where about 95% of my cards got heavily destroyed..
what I dream about pulling is a textured foil emrakul. An imperial seal would be nice too though
I'm not gonna be buying those packs as 16 euros per pack is WAY too high for me. But if I were, the card I'd like to pull the most playability wise is Ezuri, claw of progress. Either that or Hydroid krasis. Both slide nicely into my Bant counters deck. The super expensive stuff is cool and all, but I'd rather trade them for a bucnh of staples were I to get one...

13:20 that mana drain has already dropped to 170$ on card kingdom. So hard to judge how stable any of these prices will be until a few weeks out. I'm just excited to see some really beautiful and unique art for the alternates. Heck, even the uncommons are amazing with the new lightning bolt and monastery swiftspear art.
For what its worth, I think it'll settle around the $100-120 mark for the foil. Time will tell
This video was absolutely BONKERZZZZ. Been a fan of the channel for about 3-4 yrs now I think, thanks for never switching up on yourself I love the vids! And from this set I’m really hoping to get any eldrazi or a cavern of souls. Though a full/alternative art eldrazi or dammnation is up there for my Kruphix and Kirrik EDH decks.
I mean of course imperial seal is up there but also really want concordant crossroads and that red extra turn spell. Also wren and six and teferies protection

Joey, let’s not forget the value of 2XM VIP packs. I agree prices will drop in this set to some degree (ESPECIALLY Imperial seal), but in 60-90 days, we’ll recognize that these packs are still bonkers. Textured cards likely affect the distribution though

Etched are not going to drop as much as you think Joey. Any particulair rare or mythic is harder to pull from the etched slot than from the borderless foil slot because it's got a bigger card pool. Force of negation etched will be about 2,5x as rare as the foil borderless version. Just something to think about.
As a mostly Commander and Limited player, the card I want the most, you opened in the video.
Etch Foil Uril the Mist Stalker. When I checked a few days ago, only one I found was 180. I'll wait til it hits the 40 dolla mark

Honestly, if they get rid of etched foils and just print textured foils, who would complain? Textured looks amazing and etched foils always look like misprints because they are way too dark.

I'm attending a draft at my LGS for Double Masters 2, really hoping for Phyrexian Altar and Dockside Extortionist, I need an Altar for a Hogaak deck so I can make a combo out of Altar, Eternal Witness, Living Death. I need a Dockside for my CEDH Obeka, Brute Cholronologist deck.
