They seem really happy for guys who just opened a $ 300,- plus loss.
I mean they're also making money off the video and the Patrons are probably losing the money.

God even the boxes are sooo hit or miss
Convince me it's not worth buying the singles vs. pack/box. Look at those box value totals...
Can't argue from a pure monetary stand point. It will always happen to every available set. If singles are worth more than the boxes, the boxes will be opened until the singles drop or the boxes are sold out. Arbitrage.
Not everyone focuses purely on finance. Most don't :D And if anyone reading this sticks purely to buying singles, we support that idea too: Do what you like! Thanks SD for all your comments man, much appreciated!
@@MTGNorth Oh believe me, I am a bonified pack cracking addict lol, it's the most satisfying moment to get that huge pull, quite the rush! I just can't believe how far from grace prices have dropped for singles in this product specifically. A sealed case of 8 boxes, I'm def with that, but to chase glory and buy 1 box for 4 packs with only 16 true pulls is tough at the moment. I haven't followed pricing for this product in a while and this video specifically made me jump right over to TCGplayer and grab a bunch of cards that I think will have more meat on their bones in the future 👍
@@sdoren_9074 nice! That’s the main reason we put pricing in videos, it’s just pure info to help people come to their own decisions.
This set feels like it could be forgotten about for a couple years, then all of a sudden people will remember how awesome it was and be chasing it again. Depends on wotc reprints of course, but time has a funny way of changing people’s outlooks.

Why is imperial seal so expensive but vampiric tutor is less money but better? Just the amount of reprints?
ding ding! this is only its second printing, was a couple hundred bucks before double masters. It's not a fantastic card outside of cedh and seems like a bad place to put your money if any future printing can tank the value this much

Only bought one 2X2 collector box, 4 packs, etched foil dockside, borderless Emrakul Aeon's, etched Supreme Justice, borderless foil Tithe, borderless foil Chaos Warp, alt art Supreme Verdict, two Tops, borderless non-foil, and tradish border foil. Was a monster box lol

I'm sitting on a box i bought for 400 (canadian)... debating on opening it or keeping it sealed, i thought prices of the box would go up but seems that it's not and i should just take the loss and open it ?
Cuz they keep reprinting it destroys value its a shame, i love masters sets, but 1 or 2 reprints max on a card, makes the masters sets worth it

Would i love for my boxes to always come out in the green? Of course. Would i be better off monetarily buying singles? Without a doubt. Would i miss out on a ripping a whole box with a friend and having a great time? Just to save a few bucks? Never! Opening packs and pulling your own cards is part of the trading card/MTG experience that makes us love it.
