Fantastic woodturning project and really very inspirational and unique. I've seen lots of bamboo projects but none with BBQ sticks. Thanks for sharing. 😀
Cheers Steve, appreciate that pal and thanks for watching. Wasn’t sure whether to add my thoughts or not, always intended it to become a lamp but a few nights waiting while the lacquer was curing it was playing on my mind during the night, decided to put air my thoughts and change it. Value the feedback and will do it more often. Have a great weekend pal. 😊
Hi Alan, and thanks for noticing. 😊 Let’s Resin contacted me a little while ago asking if I was willing to try out their brand in return for honest feedback which I’ve given. I did and this is the first one, I’ve got another couple of projects done and I’m really happy with the resin quality with regards to curing time, how easy it is to turn and hardness so it can be polished nicely. I’ve got a couple of projects done (in editing) and I’m really happy with the resin quality and so promote with a 10% discount I can offer to all. Hope that helps pal. 😊

Great video fella. Looks stunning.. I stand corrected with the top of it 👍🏻
Cheers pal and I wondered if you’d change you mind. Thought about the top a lot and it didn’t sit right so ignore you and Gary. 😊😊👍
That’s incredible. I actually liked both the round version and the newer one after it was reshaped. Beautiful lamp, well done. 😍😍
Thanks very much and thanks for watching. Happy you liked both shapes too. Have a great weekend. 😊

Cheer Pete and thanks for watching pal. Turned out pretty cool, actually think I’ll keep this one. Have a good weekend up in Coventry 😊😜
nice where do you get the hardware for the lamp?
Cheers pal, the lamp kit is from Amazon. I’m assuming you’re not on the UK otherwise I’d send you a link. 😊👍
Awesome! Can you tell me what the flexible gray material is that you used to make your resin mold? Thanks!
Thanks very much and sure, here’s a link and thanks for watching. amzn.to/4cvCDb2 👍
