    Living in China is truly great. The infrastructure in China is new and modern. The cost of living is a fraction of what it is in the USA. Traveling around China is very affordable compared to the West. Safety is a sure thing with minimal violence and zero-gun violence. Healthcare is good, food is terrific, and the people of China are amazingly friendly. How can you not love China.

    one word i love to use on China is "mobility" - ability to travel with world-class infra structure, being able to roam on the street 3am, etc. But to me, the most fascinating part of "mobility" is social mobility. The Chinese has experienced one of the greatest changes in citizen's living standard in the past 30 years or so. Yes, there are bad things happening once a while, like everywhere in the world. But in general, things are moving towards a better future. Also, China never tells its ppl "CHINA IS THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD" unlike some interesting country I am not going to name here

    The Chinese started drilling into their children's mind Confucius thoughts such as "don't do things to others that you don't want others do to you !!"; "Respect elderly people, yours as well as others; love the younger folks, yours as well as others". "Lack of wealth and resources is not the big worry, uneven distribution is !!". There are of course many others, and most of them are towards how to have a harmonious society.

    I have seen statistics from Google. More than 40,000 people die from gunshots in the United States every year. Because they live in slums, almost all black people in the United States have guns. They will shoot at any minor conflict on the street. The political system of the United States is also in great chaos. There is no unity, too many differences, and too many illegal immigrants have caused many security risks. The economic downturn in recent years has directly led to serious inflation. If you solve the language problem and adapt to the Chinese culture, you can live very well in China. The cost of living in Europe is also very expensive, so it is not recommended to go to Europe.

    If you're not comfortable with learning a new language (Chinese/Mandarin), then the USA is the better option.
    Other than language, I can't think of one thing that the USA has that China doesn't have or doesn't excel in.
    The beauty of nature? China has that in abundance. There are many sights in China that would make the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Yellowstone look pallid by comparison.
    Cuisine? China has it all. If you like American food, you can find it. Same for French, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, etc. But Chinese cuisine is the best!
    If you like American television and movies, you can get it.
    Sports? China has great sports venues.
    China has better infrastructure and transportation. Subways. High-speed trains. Mobile payments. 5G.
    China has practically no crime, no homelessness, no drug addiction.
    China has absolutely no gun violence.
    China has great health care and great education. China is a great place to raise a family.

    Your video brings tears to my eyes - i feel with you my brother - we are surely at the same age,I live in germany and thinks every single day what this country will bring to my beloved daugthers, my exwife and my girlfriend ..... i feel responsible for all of them and nothing can take away this responsebility. Great awakening lies ahead in these times because their are three main dangers to the world: The "mememe" mentality of the west which builded up a whole society around this opinion - you can make it complicate by "Betriebswirtschaftslehre" and similar university subjects - its everytime the same - "How to make money on the shoulders of everyone else" - its mentality and western society of daily war against eatch other without any chance to color it beautiful or call it free any longer. Secondly the USA influence of eatch western country by secret services in politics, media and the whole EU - no country is free any longer - everything is for the good of the USA and that keeps them in the thinking, that they are the best country in the world. And thirdly: Islam - this middleaged religion and culture has NO respect for others around the whole world - they can take only take and place themself in other countries without invanting anything sensefull for all ( the little exception: Döner - a muslimfood invented by turkish people living in germany) - if their are too many muslim in a country its lost and they will outnumber he native inhabitants and squise all the benfits of that country for themselves.

    What puzzled me about this quite unique mentality that they expect the locals to be able to speak English when they visited another country, and not just China. But they mope into an American Karen/Kenny when they come across a foreigner and even American who don't speak English.

    See the issue is, an American living in China has many perks the Chinese living in their own country China does not have. For some examples, you’d still have a US passport that can afford easy international travel. You’d still have U.S. social security and Medicare benefits after retirement.

    Violent crime in The USA is NOT out of control. Most of The USA is safe but a couple hundred slums are violent. That is an example of control: containing a negative situation to certain areas. Also, mass shootings in The USA were discussed but not mass stabbings in China. A stabbing in Kunming in 2014 killed 31 Chinese people. These stabbings persist, and often target children. Furthermore, American health care can be marvelous. Rich Canadians go to The USA for health care. Lastly, I am Canadian and have no dog in the fight.

    • @ChrisHereToday
      @ChrisHereToday  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Really, you are going to bring up 10 years ago in China. US has had 11 mass shooting YTD. and almost 12,000 PCS people have been killed due to gun violence. Healthcare is an overpriced crime in the US. US is a mess.

    • @scottwood928
      @scottwood928 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ChrisHereToday there have been many recent stabbings in China. Look it up. I mentioned the stabbing that killed the most people. As for violence, there are countries with five times the murder rate of The USA. Again, violence in The USA mostly transpires in small areas. Lastly, how is health care in The USA a mess?

    Minimum wages in China continue to rise. As of August 27, 2024, Shanghai has the highest monthly minimum wage among 31 provinces (RMB 2,690/US$370 per month), and Beijing has the highest hourly minimum wage (RMB 26.4/US$3.7 per hour)The cost of living in China differs depending on the region you are living in and the cost of food, monthly rent, utilities and transportation is slightly higher in the bigger cities. For example, in metropolitan big cities, your monthly costs could be around 850 USD, while in smaller ones up to 550 USD. So they make 370 per month yet rent is 550-850 do they all work 2 jobs in china

    • @RRRedDust
      @RRRedDust หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Maybe you dont know much about China. The minimum wage is only a minimum living guarantee for the poor, which only represents the basic salary. Such people are generally local people who are not in the labor force, with relatively low living costs, and can guarantee a certain quality of life as a family unit. As you said, such a salary is far from enough for outsiders living in big cities (because the biggest expense is housing), and the average salary in Shanghai you mentioned is about 12k yuan in 2024. Although it is not as much as the US, the cost of living is not as high as the US.
