Fixing the back problems likely have their origins in inflammation. To fix that, you need to use an anti-inflammatory. One of the better ones is Aleve, which lasts 12 hours. If you want to go natural consider the use of turmeric/curcumin.
Trent ask Allie to roll your calf’s out it will hurt like crazy but will release your lower back muscles in a way that stretches will never accomplish
One more thing, you are not going to like hearing. Cut way back on sugar, inflammation feeds on it!

It’s amazing how well he speaks and how big his vocabulary is for his age. Such a big boy and he’ll be a big helper for that soon to be baby brother.

My husband and I are in our 60's and we have to "plan" our injuries or illnesses, because we CAN'T be sick or injured at the same time. Someone has to stay healthy to take care of the other one, to grocery shop, to cook etc. The fight is real! I can relate!

Same here! My hubby is recovering from spinal surgery he had a month ago. First 2 weeks were rough but he is doing well now and does most everything for himself, I still have to help with socks and shoes because he can't bend, lift, or twist. I have been doing all the home maintenance and yard work but this to will pass in about 4 more months😅
Weekly sleepover is PERFECT!!!! When you go into labor, Leo will be comfortable to have a sleepover. No worries! Also... after the baby comes, having a few sleepovers may also give you guys a much needed break! And to Leo, it is all wonderful fun!

I feel Trents pain. Several years of back pain and back surgeries took its toll on me. The one thing I did at my father's recommendation was see a NUCCAA chiropractor. A misalignment in the neck causes the most pain in the lower back. Now while the injury is fairly new is the time to see them. It is not a snap crackle pop type of adjustment, more of a I can't believe that was adjustment. I remember sending guys that had lower back pain for years and they would call me telling me the guy is a quack until the next morning when all the muscles in their back were sore from trying to get back in alignment. It took me 2 years of seeing the NUCCAA chiropractor to get my years old injured spine back into alignment. I have been pain free for nearly 20 years. The miracle is that sometimes one treatment make the pain go away. I believe SLlC and Bountiful have NUCCAA chiropractors. Good luck!
Googling this. Been in back pain for 33 years - surgery, therapy, injections, massage and heat therapy. Have not heard of that. TY

I have been to several over the years, and they always helped greatly with my back pain. Never heard of this kind, though, so I'm going to check it out. Thanks.

The snow sucks! I'm born and raised just below little cottonwood canyon. I have seen it snow clear into mid-july. And snowbird was still open at that time. Just remember this too soon shall be over. ❤

You might want to look into mold being created when areas can't breathe. Condensation forms on the plastic and you are stuck with it because the moisture has nowhere to go. I had to supervise the total exterior demolition of an occupied hotel because of leaky E.I.F.S and plastic! In your living space, the moisture goes through the drywall and just sits on the back of it because of the plastic. The drywall will turn black with mold.

I found delivery strange and relieving..it was the 24 hrs of back labor B4 it. I seen a birth simulator for husbands/partners. Loved it in a wicked way but it makes us women super special that we were chosen to give birth.

Last year I told you guy's to build a covered porch over your deck . When it falls off your roof it is against the house. Where y'all live where it snows hard you need a covered porch. Your business it would help.
they've already said that's the plan for this summer. I however wonder why they didn't follow their own plan to clear the snow around their buildings with the skid steer blower. They even prepared and flattened the ground everywhere, but then they just stopped clearing snow for some reason.

Injuries take 6-8 weeks to heal at your age, at least. You're not gonna get that as long as you're building. You're putting more strain on it.
Yup! Rest is important in healing backs. You could easily aggravate it even worse. Sincerely hope your stretches etc are going to heal it and it doesn't get worse.

I suggest you give up ju jitsu and have a go at ballroom dancing together. As we get older we tend to fall and break instead of bounce like when we were young.
have you considered doing a heated concrete slab for a patio and sidewalks, just get a separate boiler to heat the concrete and turn it off when not needed

Trent, if you know someone who can sew, have them make you a heating pad. Take a handtowel and fold it in half the short way. Use a fairly thin terrycloth. Then sew maybe 4 or 5 seams so that it makes tubes. Pour in dry rice, but don't fill them up all the way. Leave about 2 and 1/2 inches of space. Then sew up the end. Put this in the microwave for a minute and check the temp. Keep doing this until it is very warm but not hot. Once you establish how long it takes to get very warm, you can pop it in easily the next time. Now put it on the floor and lay on your back with your knees bent up for about 20 minutes. You will love this. It's something about the moist heat that works so well and it smells good too.
So it will be my three sons for Trent. Thank God for Jen for Leo , an amazing lady.

Trent could build a slide ten feet+ tall where that snow slides off next season- attach roofing metal to it as that snow slides off the slide will direct it away from your home- make the angle steep and as long as you can.

It’s the best having a relative to take of your kids! I took care of my brothers kids from time they were born I loved every minute of it! I think of them as my kids and they are good kids! My sister in law would tell me all the time that I did a great job with there kids!
I think we all love Jennifer. She is such a sweet presence with Leo. Going strong Trent. Allie is in that Madonna phase of pregnancy.

I always look forward to your videos. Is that pond on your property? You are fortunate to have such a big and close family to help you with Leo and the new one coming. I didn't have that myself, but my son has managed to have that while raising his son. It is SO important for a well-balanced child.

Get a TENS machine for your back. It's helped my shoulder and knee pain tremendously!
You most likely still have a lot of inflammation around your injury. There are many different things you can try to reduce the inflammation. Increasing the circulation in the area is one. The adjustments are important because they promote circulation, but, it will all take time as the healing progresses. Of course, all this extra work you are doing is also hindering the healing, but it is what it is.
It's gonna be unusual when you don't have have a new project. I have the same dilemma.

A suggestion to save Allie’s sanity. Get a length of plastic hall runner, and roll it out between the front door and the extension “door”.
Trent you keep saying by the time insulation is done you won't need it. Insulation protects just as much from heat in the summer as cold in the winter. A well insulated house will keep the heat out with little or no AC running.
Hey Trent, I moved a dresser 6" from a wall. The right side of my back went pop and 2yrs later it still hasn't healed yet. Good luck you have a long recovery ahead.
