I read about "benzo belly" before I began my taper. I changed my eating lifestyle and never suffered from "benzo belly." Remove the inflammatory foods before and during your taper. One less thing to worry about. Eat as clean as possible........ Great topic ~ thanks.

I've been working as a Nutritionist for 23 years I've always seen the best results from heavy animal/Fat based diets which is in the research mind you. I'm happy to produce as research if anyone is interested and when I say actual research I'm talking about research which went onto a a peer reviewed entry which is our highest or gold standard in terms of research, 92% of everything you read off Google is doctored to some degree as Nutrition is one of the few fields that are (Excuse my language) Graped by invested organizations from Bug Pharma, Supplement industry, Sugar and cereal industry, soft drink and so on... They not only pick students in a nutrition course but they also fund their research as all nutritionist must publish at least one publication before graduating. Once the student collects data entries, he or she submits the research back to whichever corporation funded the study and they get to go in and doctor literally every inch of said report to best fit their product. That molested publication then gets published on sources like Google who receives funding to show you certain publications over others. So unless you know how to properly read research, chances are you're being lied to. I especially feel bad for vegans they unfortunately have no chance.
I don't agree with her claim about muscle meat I simply have never seen any compelling research showing it to be harmful in fact most carnivores are reversing metabolic health conditions we thought couldn't be reversed.
All in all great video its very exciting knowing that dieting for health is finally gaining a audience. We all knew how important it was but unfortunately most of society never had a chance I mean with guidelines based around these same epidemiological and observational feedings which should be ilegall as you can't show causation or conclusion through these two forms of research which are basically hypothesis and food surveys/questionnaires anyways
A quick tip... Look out for keywords in research publications. If you see them, run. Don't waste time with that paper it's fully based around epidemiology.
    What are key words:
We aren't allowed to see this food equals that outcome which is why we deal mostly in epidemiology. A work around to gain your attention is through key words. They help bridge the gap in your trust, it's basically tricking the general audience into giving the claim more creditability then deserving.
Examples: "Linked to", suggests, suggested to, associated with, possibly, conceivably, corresponding with, connected with, allied with, applicable, may and can"
If you see those words, disregard the publication as these words aren't conclusive their possibilities at best. Look at the American Heart Association... Can't seem to stop lying, every single publication about heart disease and red meat or saturated fat uses these words before a claim.
That's the big one, These key words have to be present before a claim pretending to be a statement.
    Example:
"Saturated fat is associated with increased risk of heart diseaae"
    Topic:Saturated fat and heart disease
Claim: "Increase risk" which is a cause and effect statement, we can't use those because we can't measure outcome accurately.
    Keyword: "Associated with"

Thanks for your message! I read about "benzo belly," and changed my diet - lifestyle before I tapered. I became Whole Food Plant Based and wish I'd done it decades ago!!! My taper was awful, but I avoided many of the inflammatory issues others struggled with. Meat and dairy are harmful to the gut microbiome. Eat as many greens, fruits, vegetables, grains and more PLANT Foods as possible. Give your body the best to fight with. Most diseases can be reversed - but only with a Whole Foods Plant Based (vegan) diet. I see and read what people try to pass on as "science and nutrition," and am constantly appalled. If your food is from nature, eat it. If your food is made in a manufacturing plant - leave it alone. Thanks again ~ Janet

Not everyone has a gut that's able to contract and move food thru, I did good on Paleo when I had a working gut, when I was able to sleep and move...
Once nervous system got shot from physical injury, severe levels on controlled pain, benzo withdrawal, parasites, mold, heavy metals, ECT, my gut said no thank you to food period, I also have a connective tissue disorder, 2 previous abdominal hernia repairs, wasted to look like 70 lbs but am way more than that becuz I have a colon not moving, I'm slowly d wording from this
It really took a crap when I hit tolerance, it didn't matter how healthy I did, still didn't work
One needs to be in rest and digest before their guts can work
Sure try and eat healthy but surging in withdrawal freezes the gut, meats are not easy to digest in general
I have to agree with a whole foods plant based, many thrive on it but one also can't say it's a one size fits all, everyone's bodies guts microbiome situation are different

Google (which now owns youtoob, by the way) is owned by alphabet, a pharmaceutical company. Which is why you can ask google a question like "which foods are highest in iron" and it will give you a list full of plant foods, even though non-heme iron is useless or actually harmful to humans. They are trying to hide from us the actual sources of nutrients, because sick humanity is their cash cow.
Anyone who accepts surface level "information" from the goog is in big trouble, because it bears no relation to reality.

Here in the United States, every doctor that I've ever went to as a patient in my lifetime & worked for as a nurse, never believed that "leaky gut" exists. They would say "If your gut leaked, you would have ascites. Ascites is obvious fluid build up in area outside of the stomach wall." Yes , ascites is a very serious condition, but it's not the same as "leaky gut". These doctors refuse to learn about new things and they stick by what they learned "way back when". And, here you interviewed an MD. Not only a neurologist, but also once was a neurosurgeon! Why is she open to learning new things? where other doctors, mostly MD's, just ... I can't describe this is any other way besides most doctors just really have their head up their a**. ---- Shelly

YAYY I love Natasha I’ve been a fan of hers for years now. Even Jordan Petersons daughter had her on a podcast. For benzo WD the diet can be modified for severe cases to build up to her protocol. Yep been on gaps low histamine low glutamate diet for 3 years now. Intro for me lasted 2 years. I still go back and do intro like this week. Autoimmune Paleo diet is also really good. I made a tutorial on here for low histamine low glutamate gaps meatstalk not too long ago. @@AngiePeacockMSW sorry I didn’t see this until now. I felt better. I still had withdrawal symptoms because I was abruptly stopped off of a shit ton of medication, but this did keep me alive. In fact, I had made a video on low histamine chicken broth I used to make. I use the skin now I did not use that skin from that chicken because it would be setting out for a while like she said you have to get fresh stuff but you have to improvise. I wish I could find the book in audio format for free. I usually use certain apps to give me free audiobooks because I have issues seeing the paper and you know how it is for us to even comprehend reading, sometimes in the beginning of withdrawal gaps is kind of difficult honestly that’s why she says to start with the full gaps. I know people that have been on it for 2+ years though.

This is a great resource, thank you. I’m gonna start looking into this more. Some of these concepts are also discussed and corroborated by Dr. William Davis in his “Super Gut” and “Wheat Belly” books. There are some additional concepts he goes into that I think are important too. I’d recommend looking into that. I just bought Dr. Campbell-McBride’s book! Excited to get into this.

I recently found a book from the 50s called How To Clean Anything. I brought it home because I thought it might have some good non-toxic old fashioned cleaning methods I had never heard of. Boy, was I wrong! It had the most toxic advice you could ever hope to see! It recommends DDT for all over the house, even to spray each of your books. And it calls for other chemicals so toxic that they've been banned. Chemicals, chemicals, chemicals! And so many of the things it recommends are patented products that no longer exist anyway. A shockingly useless and poisonous little book. It made me realize that the wholesale entoxification of the American people has been going on longer than I realized.
Next, I'll seek out a book on the same subject from the Victorian era. At least is won't be propaganda for Dupont and Monsanto.

    • @AngiePeacockMSW
      @AngiePeacockMSW  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Bone broth is higher in collagen and histamine. The bones are broken down more in bone broth so you get the release of more of the protein and collagen. Stock is just a few hours of cooking, bone broth is several hours. Sometimes even 10-24 hours depending on where you get it.
