#RamaLake

#RamaLake is an alpine glacial lake located at 15 km away from #Astore city at an elevation of 11500 feet above sea level. It takes around 40 minutes to reach rama meadows from Astore city and any type of vehicle can go up to campsite of rama meadows. Camps are available at cheap rates.
From campsite, 4wd jeeps are available to visit rama lake but the jeep dropped us amid forest up to where the jeep track ends. At this point, mules with cabbies are available but we preferred to trek up to the lake and it took further 40 minutes. Rama lake faces th3 back side of mighty #NangaParbat. Do not miss the views of lake during sun shine. If you reach there in a cloudy weather, wait for the weather to get clear and have views of Nanga parbat including images of mountains in the lake.
tent price: 1500 rupees per night.
jeep fare. 2590 rupees.
cabbies charge 1200 rupees per head.
