#SheosarLake

The largest lake of #deosainationalpark, #sheosarlake located at 13500 ft high above sea level is a major attraction of deosai national park. It took around 7 hrs to reach campsite of sheosar lake from astore city, with multiple leisure stop overs enroute. Road from astore to chilam is paved but damaged at some parts however any type of vehicle can be used. Cars below 1300 cc are not recommended. Road from chilam to sheosar lake is partly laid, major part is not constructed and road is steep as well but the travel after chilam is beauty and we felt like roaming in some imaginary world. Surrounded by the natural beauty, we were stunned on giant mountains while travelling on roof top of the world.
There are a few camps near the lake and we got one in 2000 rupees for a night. Night was really scary with horrible thundering and a spell of heavy rainfall never seen before.
