I agree I just put a y pipe in mine no muffler and I’m glad I didn’t take the resonators off I have enough drone with no muffler can’t imagine no mufflers or resonators

I have an MBRP exhaust replacement and it was quiet so I took off the resonators and it sounds amazing. Zero drone at any speed. You just need the right setup.
Good example of why you should keep the resonators on imo. 110 to 115 db is not a big difference, the main thing is the increase of rasp and drone, which are typically not considered good things

115db is 5x louder than 110db.

100% not 5 times louder. Not sure if you’ve ever cut resonators off your truck but it’s maybe a 20% increase in how loud it is. I know how decibels work and understand the math but you can use logic to hear the difference between the before and after the res delete is clearly not anywhere near 5x louder.
Preferred the resonators on, but either way sounded good. No rasp

The worst part is how the rpm just floats before falling down. Cannot stand that and ruins the sound.

I have a Flowmaster 10 with stock resonators on my 2019 Ram warlock and tomorrow at 1pm I'm getting the resonators taken out.. can't wait, it sounds good now, I'm HOPING the resonator delete will make it sound mean 🤞
Did you delete resonators? If so hiw was it? Got flowmaster outlaw muffler now and thinking to remove resonators

So long as you keep your cats on you should pass. Some cars can pass with them removed but they need an active tune on the ECU

i have basically the same setup with resonators still on (different hi-flow muffler though) its almost silent at 70mph on the highway.
I have no muffler and no resonator, when cruising down the highway its surprisingly quieter than you think, but is amazingly loud when you get one it. I have done 6 hour drives in my no muffler/resonator setup and did not mind it
Why does the factory use a single y pipe instead of duals?

What would you recommend if i dont want it to loud but with some rumble. The flow master resonater , y pipe, leave rear muffler on?
I have the flowmaster outlaw race muffler with stock resonators and its fairly quiet at normal speeds but it pretty loud when you get on it. No drone at 75mph.
@@hunterl5286 i did the cherry bomb with stock resonaters, but i think the outlaw is better. I dont want to spend more though right now. Maybe in the future. Cherry bomb isnt bad. No drone good sound also so im pretty happy atm.
