Matt and Sandy only visit one store on their trip to Downtown LA because it takes a whole day to explore it. The Amoeba of books also happens to have a gigantic vinyl record section. Who knew?! Damnit Sandy did, and now you do too :)

I went The Last Book Store once a few years ago. Not a bad record store IMO. It didn't have much of what I'm into (punk/hardcore/anarcho...etc.), but from what I remember they had a pretty good oldies section and I ended up getting a used Best of Chubby Checker record there for a pretty cheap which was cool.

+Paulina Angel Good call on The Zombies! I went to a store (that will actually be featured in our next video) because they had a 30% off all used vinyl sale. I didn't line up like I usually do because the list this year was really weak - but I did grab (along with a few regular used titles) the True Detective soundtrack and The Vitamin String Quartet doing The Moon and Antarctica

I spied the Seeds and the Idle Race. If you dig Big Star, check out Alex Chilton's first band, the Box Tops. Francoise Hardy was a ye ye girl. Ye Ye was the French and Spanish version of English beat music. Very cool. Francoise Hardy's music was indeed included in Mad Men.

+Damnit Sandy dude I love my bloody valentine so much I had to buy an original copy. But that copy had a small scratch so I had to buy a near mint copy. I see them from time to time on eBay and discogs for $100-$200.
