I posted a let's build of my vault 88 and used this method in it. Gave you a shout out and linked this video in the description! Just wanted to make sure you got credit :)
It's the middle of 2019 (June 15th) I've been playing FO4 on and off since it was released, all this time I did not know you could do this. 4 years later and I'm still learning how to play the damn game.
This is the first part of the wi-fi glitch. If you go back to the first pylon, grab and release, then store the wire, both pylons retain power with no visible wires at all. And it can be done with regular conduits so you don't have pylons sticking up all over.
I know it's been awhile but thanks for this. Wiring with the vanilla limits is atrocious unsightly and uses up settlement size having to connect everything 'traditionally". So glad this works. Thank you.
I listened & watched those other 2 dudes vids that u mentioned (who originally came up w/this glitch)-and, my God do they ramble and make no sense because of their constant rambling. I don't know how anyone watches them. U explained it very well and very understandable. I learned how to do this after just 1 watch of your vid!! U r amazing and thanks for sharing!!! And not rambling like that clown at school zone or whatever he calls himself/vids-my God that kid is hard to listen too-never again
Lol I wish I had known about this days ago. I just did a massive rewiring at most of my Settlements. Woe is me, but this is a great discovery either way because this will make my life much easier in the future! Thanks for another great video :).
Yeah, no kidding! I did the same thing with my new arena, outdoor market and hotel at Starlight Drive-in. I used so much copper and ceramic wiring that place up. Then I discovered this a couple days later. I was thrilled, but then I was like "Aw man! All those resources!"
Great video, just found your channel and subscribed but I literally stopped dead when the deathclaw walked by...😳 Then "don't mind him he's friendly" 🤣🤣🤣. I'm guessing you have something like wasteland whisperer or some other perk but the thought of a deathclaw just ambling around a settlement like a dog absolutely cracked me up. 🤣 Great video!!
Nice find and could be handy, just doesn't fit with my play style. Although I have no aversion to some of the little tricks we have to use to position stuff, this one is just a little 'too' cheaty for me :D Nice work though :)
I don't personally use the glitch to stretch the wires over extremely long distances myself. But I always use the glitch to put them through walls, since that seems realistic to me. Since people always drill holes in walls to pass wires through. There are many applications of the wire glitch, some more realistic than others.
Considering we have the wall pass thorugh conduits now, I think I may try your 'through wall' trick but will probably stick with the official. But then, I'm the kind of player that doesn't play modded either. Probably one of very few though and totally understand that :)
Nope, rug glitch totally works on the console. I know lots of people who do it all the time. It doesn't work with everything, but it does most things. Try using a larger rug, sometimes they work better. Also, make sure your rug is slightly elevated above the ground, like coming off the edge of a slope or something. it works better if you do that.

CordlessVII hello
Hey, thanks man! I appreciate it!

Relatable
Years later, after finishing the game long ago, decided to fool around over Christmas. This is a good tip. Thanks.
Can't wait to try this next time I jump into Fallout! Great video!

I did this glitch by complete accident once, couldn't figure out how I did it, it was driving me mad thank you!
Exactly what I was looking for. You, my friend, just earned yourself another sub :). Great to see a female FO4 player out there.
+ecwfanatic22 Thank you! And welcome to the channel. :)
It's the space bar to attach wires on the PC. And thanks for the video!
"Danse...you're interrupting my video." Lol
An actual woman doing a Fallout tip video - awesome! Keep them coming
I now only have 1 pylon in my settlement. Thanks. :)
+Kyle McWilliams Awesome! :)
great video looking forward to seeing more your gonna grow fast
I already knew this tip, but subbed anyway because the Fallout community needs to grow and props to you for helping with that.
+Mr Willsin Thank you! And welcome to the channel! :)
I like your spontaneous personality... entertaining for me c: subbed
+Yux Montaño Thank you so much! :)

One question though, 159 beds?

...cant wait to try this...been having problems with these wiry connections...
I am just starting to get the hang of using this glitch. Thanks for explaining it well.
Thanks for the tip. It was getting frustrating trying to get wire ran on the island!
Lol I wish I had known about this days ago. I just did a massive rewiring at most of my Settlements. Woe is me, but this is a great discovery either way because this will make my life much easier in the future! Thanks for another great video :).

The struggle is real lol!

Nice tip thanks :) loved the bit with Danse interrupting you, typical fallout 4.
This changes everything.
I wondered why that trick didn't always work. Awesome Sauce!!!
Also, I've been attaching the hanging conduits to the bottom of rugs and concrete pillars to make all my wires invisible.
+wash nunya You can put the conduit on top of the cement block before you place another on top and that will power it as well as hide it
159 beds?
Thanks for posting this video, I found it useful!
Im following your vault 88 build and im stuck on the wire glitch im on x box 1
Thanks a lot, really helped with my vault!
Thank you very much for this trick.
This is an awesome fix! Thanks
Great video
Badass, never knew the wire glitch could stretch so faarrrrr! Lol 👍🏻
Thia glitch won't work on the ps5 ):
You should look up Skooled Zone's video on the WIFI glitch. It uses no wires to power objects. Great video by the way!!
I've seen it, it's cool! I even made my own video about it :-)
Just to let you know you can also use that glitch to make the wires go through walls
HOLY CRAP! Two Deathclaw! how much do they add to defence?
The Old Khajiit 15, each, i think.
10
ive done this many times on accident without knowing it
there's not a whole lot of female youtubers that makes gaming videos instead of fashion videos and cosplay videos
Awesome glitch!!
Finding this video late, but hey great channel. It's a sub from me.
Does this glitch work for x box 1
thanks, very interesting.
That was awesome!!!
Nevermind I just watched the whole video
why do you have 159 beds you can only get 20 in one place
Really helpful your awesome good video
Dont use the large pylons, fill thew streets with streetlights and connect them all up, it's more conventional and looks better
You are amazing defo subed thank you
thank you very much i liked and subbed😁👍
+Noah vd Molen Thank you!
+Wasteland Dovahkiin you're welcome😇
My power icon remains red. Anyone know how to fix?
This still work??
I found a mod to power my fault but thank you so much
Nice one. :)

i literally just started playing this game... there's a casual deathclaw roaming around? haha what?
MULTIPLE FRIENDLY DEATHCLAWS????
thanks for the tips😁😁😁😁
Thank you for this.. =)
Nice!!! no more pylon city for me!!!
This just changed my life you're a Goddess. Thanks.
I can't get this to work for me 😞
Gracias 😊
I got a mod for extended powerlines on PC :)
Ty 👍👍👍👍🍺😎
Does this still work?
Yes! I use it all the time.
Not anymore it's patched now
It's not patched. I'm using it after the patch 1.7 and it works just fine. If it's not working for you then you're doing it wrong.
Wasteland Dovahkiin
Thanks Ms. Dova :)
+Wasteland Dovahkiin I connected the wire to the elevator prefectly but the elevator won't power up.
Very good..
+1 sub.
actually she's the first one that I found
MichealJ99 Gaming okay???
Have cool
I guess it not works on PC, same as the rug glitch...
+Worldowner Are you sure you're doing it right? Make sure you're selecting the wire with the pylon directly behind it. It won't work otherwise.
+Worldowner Both work on PC, you're doing it wrong.
so tell me how to do it right then. Yeah, that one is working. But the rug glitch is exclusive for console.
Nope, rug glitch totally works on the console. I know lots of people who do it all the time. It doesn't work with everything, but it does most things. Try using a larger rug, sometimes they work better. Also, make sure your rug is slightly elevated above the ground, like coming off the edge of a slope or something. it works better if you do that.
rug glitch works ONLY on the console. It NOT works on PC.
Insulator not conduit. Fallout got their terminology wrong.
Even works will all the updates and Dlc well don't that beat all :/
Vault*
I love you
This has been patched :(
No it has not. I still use it quite frequently. If it's not working for you then you're not doing it correctly.
Wow Wow Wwwwwoooowww!!!
good tutorial but you talk too much. 10 minutes could be 3 or 4 easily.
