Hi, great video. Could you please explain to me how did you set it up with your DAW? I've got the same midi keyboard and I use Ableton Live but can't make it sound yet. Thanks
To connect the devices: 1. Turn all units off. 2. Connect the Streichfett´s audio output 4 + 5 to your mixing console or your computer audio interface. Optionally connect a suited stereo headphone to the Streichfett´s headphone output 6. 3. To play the Streichfett you need a MIDI master keyboard. Connect its MIDI Out to the Streichfett´s MIDI In 2. 4. If you want to use a computer with a MIDI interface, connect your interface´s MIDI Out to the Streichfett´s MIDI In 2. 5. Optionally you can connect the Streichfett´s USB port 3 with a USB cable to your computer. After that, the Streichfett is automatically available as a MIDI device and will also receive power via the USB connection. 6. Without a computer, you need to connect the USB power supply that came with the Streichfett to the USB port 3. After that, the Streichfett is ready for work! 7. Then switch on the computer (if connected), the mixing console and finally the amplifier or active monitor speakers. The USB Connection : Using a USB cable you can connect the Streichfett to your computer observing the following system requirements: • Windows PC: Windows XP or newer is recommended, a USB port • Linux PC, a USB port • Apple: Intel Mac with Mac OS X 10.6 or newer, a USB port The USB connection of the Streichfett allows: • Power supply via USB when connected to a suitable computer • Power supply via the USB power supply • Transmitting and receiving MIDI data • Dumping of firmware updates to the Streichfett • Data exchange with suitable computer software or another Streichfett w Make sure to use a fullspeed USB port on your computer as well as a USB compatible cable to avoid problems with data transmission. I have a question. What is the Midi in and Midi out for? It's: USB to computer, then you have to connect keyboard's midi out to Streichfett's midi in and also viceversa?
An external USB power supply is included. It may be powered from a USB power bank or directly from a USB host device that supplies USB power. bhpho.to/3fwRWCv >Mark
Hello there! This is a very interesting product but, can it be used with ableton in order to modify sounds in the software? I would like to use it with Ableton but I can't find any ways to set it up and how it works (if it does).

@@Rid-iculo-us On these string synths yes, this is how they sound best I think. I have a Streichfett, and the basic tones sound almost boring, something you can do with any random synth.
I love Tangerine Dream. And I'm always glad when I hear someone mention them. They deserve so much more recognition.
Noob question: it's not shown in the vid but is there a DAW in this demo or just the keyboard and synth with some monitors?

Streichfett is a very unusual description of spreadable fat ... Eg margerine or butter ...
Can it obtain it's power via usb port from your controller keyboard/synth? Love the lush warm 'Solina' type sounds

You can definitely effect it in Ableton, if you have a soundcard you can record or stream the audio from any synth into any DAW.

I can’t decide if Mr. Crowley or Oxygen.
This thing always reminds me of the ending of the first Friday the 13th (1980) right before Jason drags the final girl out of the canoe.
Can this device be used to put vocals through it?
It doesn't have an input, so the answer is definitely no.

Can I play it poly on my moog sub37 used as a midi controller?
+blipblip88 Yes-yes you can. You can even play it while playing the sub 37 patches. Neato!
I jsut wish they'd do it with 60/70s transistor organs.
Get the Yamaha Reface YC. Models (not samples) of Vox, Farfisa, Acetone and Yamaha transistor organs plus B3 tonewheel organ. 9 drawbars, percussion, vibrato, rotary, overdrive, 3-octaves of mini-keys, MIDI breakout cable, and it's red! £300.
