Keep wicks trimmed to 1/4." I would recommend cork under the saucer--prevents scratching furniture and heat won't transfer through the terra cotta to damage wood beneath the candle.
The last plant hangers-you can bend the hook part up a bit to hold whatever, and set them close together, add a plank on top (like you did with your potting station), and create a “bar” for pool side for above ground pools or a place to set plates and drinks for stand-up gatherings! Great ideas!!
I’ve come to appreciate how versatile the tomato cages are n how many things they can be used for like your planter or ice bucket for example. I’ve turned one upside down into a planter n glued it in place to allow my climbing vine to climb up it n it’s turning out great! Thank you for sharing all these amazing ideas!!! Can’t wait to see your next patio ideas videos! 😊
The quick create hanging planters is genius. I plan on doing this in the front of my house with larger containers, the hanging element allows for so many different fun ideas. Thank you
Re: ideas for glass candle jars: I've become obsessed with decoupage! I've been using DT vases in all shapes and sizes, plus whatever I can find around the house or at the thrift store. I spray them with a primer; then apply 2 coats of white chalk paint. Then I use paper napkins--use only 1 ply out of 3--cutting out parts of the design. I apply to the vase using matte ModPodge; finish with a clear matte sealer. They make beautiful flower vases,, candy dishes, etc. I found some Christmas paper napkins online and am getting a heads start on Christmas gifts! Thanks for reminding me of those candle jars---love the terra cotta candle idea too!
For the empty candle jars you can fill them with water and put nice long leaves in the water (or lemon, lime, orange slices) and a floating candle on top. Super elegant!
I love all of your projects today but the hanging plants with the concrete planters was my favorite. I really love your beautiful bird bath too...such a great color!
The tall glass candle holders from Dollar tree are so nice to add small river rocks in the bottom and add a tea light in bottom, sit them outside ! Also, add sand and the sea shells from DT and add a tea light. So pretty. Or. Spray paint them white, add jute around top or bottom and add DT florals. I got the ferns they have now and they are beautiful. Simple but beautiful!
Loved this video! Shannon you are the queen of creativity! Thank you for sharing all your great DIYs with us. Loved the potting station and your she-shed patio. You have given me some ideas!🤔🤔🤔
I love all of your ideas! My favorites are the table & the plant hanger/Sheppard's hook. I was just wondering if you need some drainage holes, just above the concrete, on the sides of the pots? I wouldn't want to create a place for mosquitoes to breed after it rains.
That planter would be a cute sign holder or bird house too I love watching you wish it was every day. It’s my relaxing time to watch thanks for the fun hacks.
Shannon, wow, wow wee, you've out done your self girl. This was so useful, loved the planter table with accessories to hold thing of the table, and the end one, the plant stand in a bucket. No wonders you have sooo many subies, your the bomb!
Hey! You could add multiple planter/shelve hooks onto the concrete hanging planter! If you added them at different heights you can hang a few plants all the way around. 😁👍 (at least I’d try it!😃)
The leftover candle jars you can paint the outside and get stickers from the dollar store like butterflies or flowers and stick fresh cut flowers in them on your tablescape
I think you will need some kind of shade for your patio. Have you considered either large umbrellas or one or two of those pre-assembled gazebos that you can find at a large harware center?
I love all of your ideas and I have to say your channel subscribers giving you ideas in the comments to do with your projects says so much about how they feel about you ❤ and so much about you that you've created a safe environment. It's great!! I've watched several of your videos today and everything is original and cute!! There are so many I want to do!! I'm not smart like you and some of your subscribers with all the great ideas but hopefully I will be able to follow your directions!! Thank you.
I love all of these DIYs. As for the tall glass candle jars. You could glue clear flat marbles to the outside. I would use a dab of hit glue and some E6000 or clear Gorilla glue. Leave space at the top and add solar lights to the top of the jar. You could add some sand inside the jar to weigh it down or use a dollar tree broom stick to stick in the ground and glue the jar to a wood round that you screw onto the top of the broom stick. You may have to trim the end so it's flat.
I LOVE how QUICK, SIMPLE & CHEAP!!! I LOVE the basics..I am not very artistic & can get frustrated when trying to "perfect" things...I absolutely, TOTALLY LOVED how u just spray painted the sticker!!!😂😅 Looking fwd to seeing more 💡ty ty ty oh & btw, very cute work station...functional, organized AND decorated; NICELY done!
Shannon - just a thought - you could fill the hanging planter pots with soil, with a few rocks for drainage and add plants. I think It would look even better.adding. to the charm. Congrats on your new patio - looks nice! And your she shed, do you have a video on how you created this and/or what it looks like on the inside?? Enjoy your day!
I love love, love love your turtle. I am going to try to make this. Did you notice that if you look straight down on him from the computer screen those silver rocks almost look like those turtles that use their fins to get through the sands
Citronella candles can be used safely indoors. Just be aware of the potency of the citronella which can cause respiratory reactions in certain humans and pets. Burning citronella also builds up soot in the air.
Just a thought... on the hanging planters with a cement in the bottom, maybe just use the wooden dowel rods spray painted black. Seems using the black PLASTIC broom handles were pointless. Also, just a fun idea... Maybe you could've added some soil and plants to the bottom instead of just rocks. Keep up the good work
Those candle jars call jars that are left over from the Dollar Tree. You can take them and paint them and use them for a 3 tier Trey or tu Tierra.Just glow, a member between the 2 trays or you could put marbles in AM.You.Could you know you do a lot of enbellishment with things you could come up with some idea to make a trade to put them between your trays.Keep up the good work.I like watching in you
Great outdoor candle hack, Shannon!😊 I have a question for you: How do you remove the excess wax that dries in the DT candle jars? I have melted down the DT candle wax as you have & the excess wax dried quick. What have you found is the easiest way to clean out the excess wax out of the jars? Your turtle is adorable! I love it!❤
Just an FYI, if you buff a surface for gluing, like the metal bases for the wicks and the shelf brackets for the adhesive, it gives the stuff something to stick to more than a smooth surface will. The adhesive/glue/hot glue (and so forth) will hold Much better and Longer than if you didn't buff it before. Wood, metal, plastic, glass... doesn't matter. the smooth surface needs buffed before you apply glue/adhesive if you want the items to stay together a long time. Seriously. Try it. ALSO... If the metal items are coated, like the white hooks you bent on the video, you can wrap the jaws of the pliers with masking tape to not mar the coating before you start. I'd use some matching nail polish (or enamel craft paint) to patch those open spots or those metal hooks will begin rusting Fast where the enamel was opened up. That metal is cheap and will degrade quickly without protection.
Cute ideas....the turtle would've looked cuter if his face was facing the viewer's side rather than down. You can't really see his cute little face that way lol. I'm definitely going to attempt to find time to make these. Thanks for sharing!
Lots of great ideas. It looked like the broom handle spun a bit when you were hanging the plant on the upside down hanger. Do they just spin, or do they move back & forth a bit?
What you can do with the leftover jars at the candle came in you can take that and wrap it with jute or you can stencil something on their painted white and stencil something on put Jude on the top and the bottom and make a vase you could put leather on the top and the bottom and make a beautiful vase also or you could glue it to a plate and make a vase there's a lot of things you can do with that skinny glass bottle
You asked what to do with the glass containers left over from candle making I saw at Pier 1 some glass cylinders with rope glued at different places top bottom and middle add rocks and a taper candle I thought you could paint the with that saw foam paint Just saying
Keep wicks trimmed to 1/4." I would recommend cork under the saucer--prevents scratching furniture and heat won't transfer through the terra cotta to damage wood beneath the candle.

Great idea...good save! 😊
You could also add a dowel under your shelf with S-hooks to add more hanging pots and tools.
⁰⁹😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
That's a great idea!! Thanks 😊

Hi 👋 I would use the empty glass candle jar for my reusable straws. Maybe cricut a cool logo
Gorgeous patio!!! Laundry basket for the hose?? Pure genious!! And that She Shed.... I'm gonna search for videos on that!

Great ideas!! You can also use the plastic from DT tablecloths cut into strips to weave into the walls of the laundry basket to up the pretty a bit!
Ideas for the talk candle holders?
1 : Decoupage the outside, Put your hairbrush in it and wrap the scrunchies and elastics around...
The tall glass candle holders from Dollar tree are so nice to add small river rocks in the bottom and add a tea light in bottom, sit them outside !
Also, add sand and the sea shells from DT and add a tea light. So pretty.

The dog collar is genius! I'm going to try it, my hose to the opposite side of the fence. My livestock love to pull the hose around and tangle it.
All great hacks. I duped your hanger butterflies with DT solar lights. They came out great.
You can also add some soil to the base of the hanging basket holder and plant some plants that have short roots.
That was my thought too. Instead of rocks just add dirt and flowers.
That planter would be a cute sign holder or bird house too I love watching you wish it was every day.
It’s my relaxing time to watch thanks for the fun hacks.
Your patio is gorgeous!
Thank you for the inspiration ❤
I would reuse the empty tall glass Dollar Tree candles to hold my long handled paint brushes. 🖌️

Your new patio looks so nice.... And I enjoyed all of these fantastic ideas... You always come up with the best ones..😁👍😁👍😁🤗🤗
I love love, love love your turtle. I am going to try to make this. Did you notice that if you look straight down on him from the computer screen those silver rocks almost look like those turtles that use their fins to get through the sands
Hummingbird feeder. You need a cork to fit the glass and straws, preferably metal. I got mine from Family Dollar 😁
Love them all. Turtles are my favorite!
You can put stuff in for storage or led lamp out of glass candle jar or a solar decor indoor or outdoor or for a wedding decor as well.
Love all your craft idea’s especially the table
The patio looks beautiful!
I need some budget friendly patio hacks, love these, thank you
The breakfast nook turned out beautiful.
You are so talented, Shannon. I love your crafts and your ideas. 🥰
I don’t think you are supposed to burn citronella candles inside. Strictly an outside thing.
Citronella candles can be used safely indoors. Just be aware of the potency of the citronella which can cause respiratory reactions in certain humans and pets. Burning citronella also builds up soot in the air.

I'd place another broomstick inside the hangers going from one to the other and hang several baskets on it. 👍 Thanks for the ideas
Love, love , love all ideas on the potting bench! You rock, girl! ❤

Perfect timing, we plan to redo our outside area soon. Right now, it's too hot. It's 88° here and very humuggy. (humid and muggy)
Same here Mrs. Alma
Sounds like my state...Mobile, Alabama
@Michelle's Unique Boutique I'm in Southwest Tennessee. Today, it's a little cooler.
@@MrsAlmaTrumble Its hot n muggy again here today. Wish it would be cooler here too. Have a beautiful day!!!
@Michelle's Unique Boutique thanks, you too.
@@michellesuniqueboutique3405 I'm in Mobile too & dreading trying to weed eat after all this rain. So muggy & hot & summer temps aren't here yet.
I saw u on the Windows Direct ad on tv! Kool! I just love ur diys I'm a huge fan!
Backyard is stunning!! Enjoy
I love ❤️ your shirt praying momma 🙏 ❤️
Great hacks. Thanks for sharing. Until your next video
Great ideas! Love your little potting area.
I loved all your ideas! Can’t wait to watch the next ones and try some of these! Thank you
Congratulations on your new patio!!!!
Thank you!!
The garden turtle was so cute!!! Very creative.
I probably would have hung the plant hangers the same way. Lol❤
You can use the empty candle holders as vases
I would have drilled a few drainage holes in the planter
Love all of them, Thank you 🙂
I KNEW which one you were talking about as I watched it and remember telling the screen, "Its upside down"!!!!
I use the empty candle jars to propagate plants and put them together in the window
#2 decoupage and use as a vase.
#3 use in kitchen to put your scrub brush for dishes in
You could glue a small wood block to the very end of your hanger, so the planter doesn’t fall off (mobile hanging station). 🥰
Add a clear zip tie to keep flags or planters on hooks. Trim off excess.
I use those to make snowmen in the winter. a couple of buttons and a clay carrot nose
Hello 👋 Shannon! Love this video! Thanks for sharing! Have a blessed day! Debbie 😊❤
Shannon you did the best you could do and you did a good job anyway I like them
Great outdoor candle hack, Shannon!😊

Love it all! Where is that little iron from ? So cute and practical.
If you mean when she was ironing the flags, that was the Cricut Easypress mini. You can get them at target, Joanne’s, Michael’s etc.
Love so much of the stuff you make can’t wait to try so many thank you for all the great ideas
I like the terra cotta pot with the candle.
For the brackets, use a white marker to mark location of holes. Then you can drill holes straight and not need "three hands"
Thank you for all the great tips.
The garden turtle is adorable

Metal and/or glass straw storage. You could doll it up too!
Lots of great ideas. It looked like the broom handle spun a bit when you were hanging the plant on the upside down hanger. Do they just spin, or do they move back & forth a bit?
Very clever ideas. Thank you for sharing!
Great ideas, so creative! Thanks, Shannon.
Awesome ideas! A hair dryer or heat gun will warm up the glue under the stickers and they peel right off! :)
I love the moveable plant holder!
love your garden turtle xx

Deformed turtle is fun for the feebleminded.
You are very talented creative beautiful Shannon ❤
Nice ideas, thanks for sharing.
Figure out an inner ring for the wood tabletop and you could use for storage inside top pot.
I use the over the door hooks on my shower door to allow wet swimsuits to dry.
You have some great ideas for outside.😍😍😍
Won't rain ruin your cushions on the sofa ?Mold and mildew?
Put those tall candle jars in large Pickle jar, fill jar with glass globes,
Put Solar light on top of candle opening. !!!!!
😍😍😍
Love the shelf!!
Cute hacks! Question... would that planter fit on the other end of the tomatoe cage so we could push the cage in the ground to keep it stable?
Possibly! Maybe find the right planter that would fit. Or even a large bowl?
Patio looks great.
Very creative. Great ideas.
