For the soap pumps, why ddnt you use the marble contact paper they sell?
Use stickers from the craft section to create shapes on the inside of the wax paper on your lanterns :)

Loved that laundry basket for a hose holder, I am now using a square planter that I want for next year for tomato plants.
For the rope coasters, some fabric glue or fray check on the raw ends would probably help keep them nicer longer
Great idea! Also, adding a li'l glue to the cotton rope while winding it around itself will make it stronger and less likely to unravel.

A little helpful hint I learned many years ago: if you plan to use spray paint on Styrofoam make sure you cover it with paper towel or newspaper glued on or the spray paint will melt Styrofoam.

Super glue also melts Styrofoam and it gets really hot so be careful

Something you can do to up the look on the lanterns. Take your wax paper actually take 2 pieces and add some grated or finely chopped crayons and iron the wax paper with crayons between the 2 pieces and it will give it a stain glass appearance. Then add to your frames and cut just as before. It will be very pretty

Love the canvas placemat idea! I’m thinking about making personalized placemats for Thanksgiving, then our dinner guests can take them home as a memento.
Also, if you want a more durable lantern, you can use the plastic chopping mats instead of waxed paper.

The wax paper would get broken immediately at my place. I just picked up the cutting mats the other day, because I figured I’d think of something and I actually like to use them for chopping. That is a fantastic idea! I was going to use the acrylic sheets from Cricut.

i think you could heat it in the oven like we used to do with records and it will naturally wave up. for 1.25 its worth a try, look up vintage bowl made from old record shaped bowl
I would make your own diy silicone molds from those wood pieces .that way you can use those designs more

I used a good wood glue and it dries in an hour... just food for thought. I place mine in a cheap ketchup bottle for easy application.
I have used a paper towel holder on the back of my toilet with 3 rolls of toilet paper for quite a while.

U can use dryer sheets for burned pans.
For the lantern you can let the kids draw on the wax paper first to create their own 🥰
The 9 frame thing with the ornamental carved wood attachments is my favorite of all of the things I’ve seen you do.

MAKING THE PEBBLES STICK: Sharing a few tips for those people who have had problems making the pebbles stick to the solar lights.
1. Shannon used BOTH crazy glue n hot glue. Hot glue provides quick adhesion; crazy glue provides more lasting adhesion. Someone commented on their pebbles falling off, but that was because she used only hot glue.
2. IMPORTANT: DO NOT OVERLAY the 2 types of glues. This will combine the chemicals and may result in poor overall adhesion, depending on what you're gluing together. Simply dot the 2 different glues in 2-3 different spots on the glass pebbles.
3. For something small like glass pebbles, you really need a glue gun with a PRECISION TIP.
Please note that the larger, textured pot is $5...and, not $1.25.
great stuff. But my local Dollar Tree is so understaffed and poorly managed that most of the products are sitting in the Aisles in boxes and the staff never seem to put much in the displays.

I use the dryer sheets over my vents. Use 2 pull up vent equally cover it and put back in the whole. Great dust beater
Brilliant ideas and so creative. One of the things I avoid buying at dollar tree is the smaller canvases, they got different sizes for the same price, the bigger sizes are ok but buying the smaller sizes for a dollar (which is now a $1.25) is a ripoff, but we would pay more if we buy at other crafts store though. I just thought they should at least double the small sizes, because we shop at dollar tree because we want to spend less but I guess that’s how they make their profit by keeping the same price for every sizes of an item 🥴😊.
Very creative! Last time I was in Dollar Tree I didn't find some of the items you used. Their products change over time and in different locations. Great ideas to adapt. I'm thinking of making Christmas luminaries with craft sticks instead of canvas frames and colored Saran Wrap. A coat of paint or poly on the craft sticks will weather proof them. We mostly have rain in the PNW instead of snow.
The window frame idea is great but it needs a layer of white wash or paint as every staple is showing. My husband and I made a 3 panel dressing frame for our room but used fabric to cover it .

You can put the plastic plate on a bundt pan or an oven safe dish in a warm oven and it if will form to it too
I really loved the placemat and planter urn. For the terracotta candles, you don't need superglue, just dip the metal wick holder into the melted wax and that will affix it to the pot. This way, once the candle is melted down, you can replace the wick holder if needed.

I have wire racks in my office so I'm thinking I can maybe get a bigger frame and put it on the rack like doors so you can't see what's on my shelves. That's a pretty realistic-looking DIY marble! I've never been able to make them look good but I'll have to try your technique! I also need to make the dishtowel holder thing for my kitchen!

Family dollar is stepping up their craft section as they improve dollar trees so you can get the canvases there ...they carry different sizes
I loved them all,especially what.you did with the canvases and how.you made the bookends.
If you're using stuff from other stores like hobby lobby and Walmart, they aren't dollar tree hacks/crafts.
I very much like the bathroom hand pump dispensers. Your faux marble is lovely. Not overstated in the least. Have you found the shaft mechanism loses any of the paint you applied? Does the "pumping" action cause the paint the chip?

I looked in "Description Box" and found nothing about ORGANIZING as you stated in this video
I don't understand why you would waste so much time and money to take apart an over-the-door metal hanger just to make hooks when you can buy a multi size pack of S-hooks in the gardening section. They even come with a rubber bumper at each end so the walls or the items being hung are not scratched. I stopped watching around this point since each item you made had multiple more cost effective ways to make each one and weren't so wasteful either. Why would you rip apart a beautifully made painting canvass frames?? Just stretching the canvass is a big feat. Why didn't you buy a length of trim board from Home Depot or from a hobby store, then cut them cut them to size. Plus wax paper will not last any longer than a week. And that is only if you had 7 days of no wind. The first rain shower or windy day will decimate that wax paper. Find an old pair of semi-sheer curtains or another cost effective piece of white fabric. Easy peasy. But please paint something on the mounted canvass - give it the respect it deserves & use it as intended. ✌️

If you use a pair of wire cutters on the paper towel holders , you can twist the wire cutters and score the wire first , then it's easy to snap it off.

I love these ideas I’ve tried so many in my apartment thank you so much! Here’s some tips as well:
1:18 you can also make a slit in a bendy straw and melt it onto the paper towel holders with a lighter for a more stronger hold and quicker binding.
3:33 you can also use contact paper to wrap around and then seal it with modpodge also found at dollar tree.
5:55 you can also make your own acrylic paint with the paint at dollar tree by mixing 1/3 cup of white glue with 1/3 cup water so it’s less pricey
