Yes, autofocus is working for both still and video. There are 2 things need to know: 1. Make sure your lens compatible with LA-EA4 or EA5. 2. For video, Autofocus response is not as quick as my ZV-1. (I am ok for the delay)

Operation sound of the diaphragm is recorded with the internal microphone. If you use MF (Manual Focus) in the A (Aperture priority), S (Shutter priority), or M (Manual) mode, the shutter speed and the aperture can be adjusted during the movie recording. If you use AF (Autofocus), the aperture will be fixed to F3.5, or the largest aperture if the lens' largest aperture is smaller than F3.5, during the movie recording. When you record movies with autofocus, the operating noise of the lens may be recorded. The "Focal plane phase detection AF" function does not work. The "EYE AF" function does not work.

Why tf the zve 10 and the la-ea 5 dont work with each other??.
LAEA5 doesn't have driving motor. My A-Mount Lens can't function autofocus. I returned LAEA5 and got LAEA4 which has built in motor.
Does the autofocus on video and photography are working properly in using A-mount lenses on zv-e10?
