Thank you for watching our 2015 Toyota Rav4 fender removal video. This 2015 Rav4 model is the same as the 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017 or 2018 so if you have any of those years, you're pretty much ready to go!

We love working on Toyota because they are pretty easy. Our customer did get into an accident but luckily there was no frame damage and all we have to do is just replace the parts. In order to take this fender off, you will need to take the headlight off and remove the corner of the bumper. We went ahead and took the bumper because it needs replacing.
TOOLS NEEDED:
You will need a socket wrench or impact gun with a 10mm socket and extension. You will also need a panel removal tool or Exacto knife to cut off the fender liner clips. Alternatively, you can use a flat-head screwdriver in place of the panel removal tool.
PROCESS:
Firsts things first, you will have to remove the headlight and partially remove the front bumper. We already went ahead and removed those parts because we had to check for further damage for the insurance adjuster.
We started with the fender liner and fender molding. There are plastic clips that need to be removed and can be pretty tough to do. We recommend just cutting them like we did and replacing them with new ones from the dealer. You are more than welcome to pop those suckers off using your panel tool or flat-head screwdriver. You have to remove the molding and fender liner because there is a bolt behind the fender only accessible through the wheel well. Once that one is off, you can remove the bolt accessible through the door jamb. Everything is going pretty easy so far. There are a couple of bolts behind a plastic cover on the top corner of the fender at the corner of the glass. Directly next to that are the windshield cowl bolts. These too, are behind a plastic cover that is easily removable. You should now be almost halfway done with these bolts. You've got a few bolts under the hood and a few bolts behind the bumper, or at the front of the fender. Now you can remove the fender and replace it with your brand new painted fender.

is 2011 similar to this? somebody rammed into my rav4 while it was parked overnight as they were u turning and now i need to replace the fender
I bought a fender without the molding holes pre-drilled. What's your suggestion on drilling new holes for the molding in my new fender?
Hello! I would try to replace the fender if I could, the price is usually not much different. If you do have to cut out the holes, just use the correct drill bit for the screws you have. Also, and this may be the best option; 3M double sides stick tape. A lot of fender flares and lower bumper lips are held on by 3M double sides tape. That can be another option without drilling holes. Make sure you properly apply the 3M tape. Take care and good luck!

Hello! I do not know the exact name of it but it is part of the windshield cowl. It's probably called the RH passenger windshield cowl corner piece. I think anyone of the terms should point you in the right direction. They are usually inexpensive so the dealership guys should know right away. Thanks for watching!
Hi friend, how are you? Can you tell me if I get a whole front of the Rav4 model 2018 with all the radiator... Will it fit the 2015 model...change the rav model 15 to model 18
It should fit as the year span is the same. Just compare the brackets.

Hello! I have a 2000 4Runner and it's more or less the same. The bolts should be in the same or similar places. I'm not a big car guy but took off the fender easily. The antenna was a bit annoying but nothing difficult. Thank you for watching!

I believe that foam piece sits on top of the rail closes to windshield where the fender will then sit on top of it.

Yeah the fender liner was severely damaged in the accident. Customer then zip tied it. Only way to take it off is to cut it. If you need to take yours off it just push pins you need to take off. Go to www.ReveMoto.com
