Aww man, this is the kind of drifting I like to see! Not too massive angles, exits with the car pointing down the straight but sliding all the way through none the less... Old school "performance drifting", like back in the racing scene of the 60s and 70s. =)

I liked how he said "Think like Keichi Tsuchiya in his Hot Version videos" and straight after he oversteered; "That's not like Tsuchiya!"
It's nice to see a proper old school 86 on a somewhat good condition, if it could talk, I'm pretty sure there would be a whole lot of stories to say!

Really enjoyed this .... cool to see how you had to adjust for steering and power level and still having fun with the challenge of old school set up.

My AE86 has been broken for about a year now after autocrossing it. I'm not even driving the car and I'm still having fun with it. I think the AE86 and like maybe NA Miatas are the only cars I can think of that just transcend the pursuit of speed. You can just have stupid good fun with all 60 horsepower the car's got.
Man, the AE86 is just a perfect car. I really need to fix mine.
