Let me know what you like to watch: the Insta360 in-car cam, the GoPro helmet cam, or a fixed in-car cam.
I find the inta360 is cool to cut to, or for short laps, but the helmet gopro is the most enjoyable to watch
360 for sure
footcam alexi. we need footcam.
what at Nikko, its like 20 min from me LOL
can we get in-engine mic too??😉😉
I love how you dont only show the onboard and drifitng stuff, but also the vibes around it. Like the meals, or the work thats needed to be done before. Always cool to get this glimpse into japanese drift life!
this. I came to write exactly this.
Right? It makes it so interesting to watch!
Alexi is definitely up there as far as being entertaining to watch, I can watch his old beer can videos over and over
yes i liked the extra behind the scenes
Ragna B p
This is exactly my favorite kind of Noriyaro content. Garage work, food and drink, casual hang outs, interesting tidbits, tons of awesome driving, and of course, the commentary. Thanks for doing what you do, you make some of my absolute favorite content on TH-cam.
absolutely agree
For sure man. I love this video
I 100 percent agree
“2014: made in Japan its ok” xD true that lol
In reality, old quality tires last and wear better than brand new not so quality ones!
crookback You Drifted? Damn
crookback No I’m Being Completely Serious
Biggest flex ever lol.
@@ElvenMans The comment i was looking for.
"Let me give it a smack"

21:18, how to fix your starter: smack it. I love this guy.
I've been doing it for a while lol works like a charm I use a #25 wrench and hit slightly with a hammer
The Clarkson method
Its an age old method
Ahh smacking stuff, the pre-2000 universal fixing technique
Believe me.. Smacking the starter is one way to solve that problem anywhere in the whole world.
Damienov it works post 2000s too
even worked in the 18th century
Lol I did it to my 2014 motorcycle brakes the other day. They were making a bad noise so I loosened the bolts, kicked the caliper a few times and tightened em back up. No noise!!! **edit thanks for the likes yall**
zoeyl4d93 Exactly. It’s a temporary solution and it means that the starter is on the way out, but it helps. Just whack it with a hammer.
I'm 26 with zero knowledge about cars but this makes me want to get into it.
Alexander E. J. Do it man! It’s a wonderful hobby
@@Deanr51 how do cars from the early 2000s generally hold up? Also do you have any sites or channels you know of that I could visit to learn more?
Alexander E. J. There’s a bunch of car based sub reddits where people would be more than happy to answer your questions.
Alexander E. J. Btw newer isn’t always cheaper in the long run just be smart about what you purchase get something they made loads of and you’re set on secondhand parts then. Also learn to DIY a lot of general stuff or just hand over your bank card because labour is where it adds up.
@@noahdement9271 it is not just a hobby, it is a way of life.
What I really appreciate about your content is that its no BS and exactly as advertised. No clickbait bullshit letdowns. what you see is what you get. Glad to see another 86 video :)
This is how Hert should build his car, no swaps just 80s/90s simplicity
fr
No paint either just raw
i just hope he doens't overbuilt like the rx7
D3 you know hurt🤷🏻♂️
@@D3STR01A rx7 is just built if you numb nutts think 400-500 hp is over built your clearly just beginners.... this isnt 2001 where a 200hp ae86 would still be competitive you couldnt name 1 driver in serious competition with less than 300 hp
I sold mine in the US in 2014 and I’ve never regretted something more. They’re asking ridiculous prices now.
They are expensive because of the anime Initial D and all the social media platforms. The more people talk about the more it gets attention.
That was right when initial d got put on Netflix so they got popular again
Where did you buy it from?
@@geirkselim2697 you mean the dogshit movie that didn’t match the story at all? If that brought the price Up I’m dissatisfied with humanity
@@Jibbleyang agree
I liked the repairing the car before taking it to the track

Alexi has an amazing laugh. However, it's probably terrifying to hear when walking alone at night.
yeah. from behind you, way too close
N O R I Y A R O H A S U P L O A D E D ! ! ! ! Best christmas present ever!
nothing beats watching a total down to earth guy. doing car things with a friend . who is just humble by it self. to! keep it up Noriyaro!
that "towing lady" uses a pajero evo. thats wicked cool!
Riichan's 86 has a certain aesthetic to it. It's awesome.
I love this video. The maintenance, the food, the drifting. The whole package.
I'm 27 years old. He's owned the car as long as I have been alive. So cool.
We didn't get to see Riichan drive last time, it was so cool to see how good he is at drifting despite the conditions.
"I just got taiyaki! it's got cream on the inside. e gud"
-Alexi 2019
whenever i feel like buying food, i watch this video to motivate myself to save up for a cheap rwd jdm car.
That "Really?!" at 6:12 was great. I really do love seeing the other bits of Japan. The cars are cool but it's always nice to see how people live or in this case, the places they eat at.
This video is what I call quality. Not any stupid music or clips changing at every two seconds. Very enjoyable to watch.
This is one of the coolest AE86 ive seen, its just majestic i dunno whats with it :D
Weedy-san it’s been used for what it loves to do. It’s not flashy or messed with overly much so.
I think the fact that it’s technically a “veteran” it just shows on the car. Fucking love it
@@13geeky ok i m a friend of the guy in this profile , he has the starlet kp60 k series stroked and mine is a corolla ke70 4age swaped but weber insteed of solex , . . i kept it old and a bit rusty and i prefer roll it in 2019 , no powersteering no radio only 4age and rwd
Seriously one of my all time favorite hatchi’s! Simple and no nonsense!
Love both angles Alexi
Hey Alexi, I’m so envy watching your video this time! I remember times when I took my AE86 to a track and had fun with my friends - drifting with other old school owners, having great food and driving home exhausted but ultimately happy! I remember I changed only front tires to a more sticky ones when I arrive on tracks, the car was absolutely beautiful, no tire change, little mid-grade fuel consumption, awesome engine sound...
I hate I had to sell the car, the hardest decision in my life. Hopefully, I will become another AE86 owner soon, it’s not just a car, it is something special. I’ve had Silvias, Mazdas and many other more powerful and technically developed cars, but 86 is truly one love. And those joyful days are priceless.
Those last few shots with the mist over the mountains on the late afternoon light, looked pretty damn epic. Another cracking video!

Great vid! Thanks for the Tshirt rep! I bought an Insta360 after your first vid on it. Awesome bit of kit, but it seems to double my edit time on vids when I use it. Do you edit with a phone or desktop?
Desktop. And yeah, it can add a bit of editing time 😅
Hi there! I know this comment is a year old, but i highly recommend using ingest/transcoding settings in premier if you use that to edit, because it can convert your h264 encoded video files into the prores format, which is significantly easier for your computer to load and edit on your timeline. Used to take me hours to edit together a short video because I was using my h264 files, but switching to prores drastically shortened the work time.
This is just such a special car. Authentic touge experience!
This was all around entertaining! HIT IT WITH A HAMMER!
Looks mad fun!
Take an Aussie to a Japanese restaurant just for him to eat everything, now they out of business.
lol
Man this whole video was super fun to watch!
14:08 It’s just some guy... that’s it.
Can you tell me what is meant by that? BH World just results in Runescape results :/

21:20 Did this guy just deal with his car like how we dealt with N64 cartridges? 🤣
I love this style of video. A bunch of drifting, a bit of insight on the work involved in the cars, dinner, more drifting.
More of these please!!
This was such a great video to watch. All of them really…thank you for explaining Japanese culture and cars. Just got my 86 up and running and I love learning any and all about it and Japan. Thanks again.
This is one of my favorite videos you've ever made, keep it up.
Man, 4AGE sounds always good 😍
omg this videos shows everything !
Love the longer videos, keep them all this long!
"some days you the blow turbo on your second lap, some days you come out, don't change tyres and drift all day with your friends"
- Alexi Smith
20:40 Also common problem for all 80s Toyota (at least all my Toyotas). Dead starter motor? smack it.
Early 80s subarus too. Although ive found if you add a relay and a thicker wire to the solenoid you can make a bad starter last for years and only very rarely have to hit it. (also try put car in gear, usually reverse, handbrake off and put your foot out the door and push the car backwards a bit while holding the key to "start" the slight rotation you put on the engine/driveline is sometimes enough to get the starter to work, just gotta be quick on getting the clutch back in before it starts to move the car
This whole vid is so calming yet again
Didn't know what to do on this saturday evening and then i just found your channel! Man it's a pure pleasure to watch your videos about the japanese drift life and all the stuff around. You living my dream. Greetings from Germany and Arigato!
yay the yearly upload!
haha, soak it up : )
Legendary skids!
this video was calming, thank you.
I love your style of videos, showing not just the drifting, but the little things like meals and working on the car beforehand.
Noriyaro: you know, it's just one of those days.
Me: IT'S JUST ONE OF THOSE DAYS ~starts to bang head~
When you don't wanna wake up!
Everything is fucked, everybody sucks

I love Riichan's 86 it is perfect as it is in my eyes.

Every time when your video appear, so i know its lot of fun and i also love the things not only about the car. :)
The people, the meals, all this Japanstuff is very interesting. And it doesnt matter in which condition the cars are.... every one of them is a small legend which still runs! :D

Why not putting the balancing weights inside of the wheel, like everybody else? :D
Pretty sure most balancing machines measure how far out of balance the wheel is inside to outside as well, so it will tell you to add weight on either the inside or the outside of the wheel as well as at different points through the rotation - so in other words he's doing properly rather than hiding them for cosmetics
@@dawizard9056 Usually you have to tell the machine which type of rim you have before you start balancing. Depending on your choice, you get different types of displays.
@@081588101 fair enough, you more about it than me then m8
@@dawizard9056 At least thats what i have seen, but you know, machines are different. So who knows...

"Drift lube, aka rain"
That cracked me up too much, sick driving from both of you, Japan really knows how whip it hard
This clip shows how many things can go wrong on a track day. Very enlightening, Alexi!
He's had the car for 26 years, and that thing's still going.
