This was probably the last on screen fight that the two really gave their all.
Wrong. They gave their all in everything they ever did. What happened to them is what will happen to you. It's called aging. You can't expect them to do what they did in their twenties and thirties when they are in their 50's and 60's.
@@kenjisparks one day it will be possible
@@Json13th says someone who isn’t 50. Get there and come back and tell me how that went, young one.
@@kenjisparks believe and so it will happen.
Admit it when we learned this movie had the both of them we were super hyped
Iw as waiting for a movie like this since 2 decades. THose 2 are by far my 2 favorite chinese actors.
If martial arts movies bring back this level of choreography, the late 70s-early 80s glory days will return. Brilliant scene.
You haven’t been watching a lot of martial arts movies
@@gavinvales8928 Can you recommend any good modern martial arts movie?
@@gavinvales8928 bro living in the past and wants to stay there, sad and pathetic 😂🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️

So cool to see Jackie do the Drunken Master style again.
None of that was Drunken Master style.
@@theangler1922please enlighten us everyone who saw the drunken master movie why that isn’t the drunken style
@@Archiekins- The drunken master style involves fooling your opponent into thinking you're drunk and using unpredictable flowing body movements to reduce the impact of blows and counter that. He attempted to do it for a single strike, realized his opponent was not fooled and immediately swapped to a different style. It's not super hard to figure out... He uses about six different styles in this short video trying to find one that works, one he audibly tells you he switches to. You've got to be trolling right?
@@theangler1922 so you admit he used it even if it was one move ok got it 😂
@@Archiekins- Nope, that was a drunken master strike, not the drunken master style, but it's an easy mistake for someone who walks around boasting their ignorance like a flag of pride. Or an American for short.

Back then i always wanted them to share screen. Legends 👏👏
This is the closest we got to drunken master 3
This will always be more impressive to me than modern cgi. Just two men giving their all to make a great scene
I don’t even know how many times I have watched this movie when I was a teenager. 😂😂
Everyone acting like Jackie is pathetic for how this fight went as if Jet Li isn't playing Sun Wukong.
Who thinks that he's drunk AF whooping on a singular minded monk who turned out to be a god. It's like that story of the man who struggled with God in the Bible
He's only a single hair of Wukong and effectively human for this fight. He makes mistakes and gets hit, his strength and speed are clearly at a similar level to Jackie's. This is a fight between mortal men.
We see later in the movie what the restored Sun Wukong is capable of. His abilities are not comparable to the Silent Monk at all.
@@Lieutenant_Scrotesso what’s to say that a single hair of wukong’s strength is incomparable to Jackie’s characters strength

Two great legends😎😘
I appreciate that the two showed us actual martial arts
Jacky, Jet, Donnie, in my generation 30ties are the best of all time 🐐
Don't forget Tony Jaa
shame you missed the 80's and 90's when they were in their prime ;)
they should have play the classic drunken master music the moment he took that sip ...would have been epic
This was the only movie myself as a kid was SOOOO hyped that I rushed to watch it on the opening day. Man... time flies.
Two legends
Whoever decided to put Jackie and Jet in a Fantasy Kung Fu and have both of them fight in their strengths deserves a raise, promotion and an award.
My two legends
Oh my gosh I loved this movie as a kid it was a on a hard drive full of family photos my grandpa give my dad it was not supposed to be there but i watched it so much no idea what it was called though so after we lost that hard drive i never found the movie again thank you for helping me find the name of it
3:17 the tiger sounds when Jackie strikes is awesome
It was nice to see Jackie using his drunken boxing style. Those are my favorite movies of his.
HOW AMAZING TO SEE THESE TWO MASTERS HAVE THEIR MOMENT IN COMBAT WITH EACHOTHER FOR ALL TO ENJOY. I WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE THIS MOVIE JUST FOR THIS. MORE THAN WORTH IT.
My favourite scene
Just the speed, grace and smoothness of their moves and the complexity of the choreography. It just shows Jackie Chan and Jet Li were on another level. So glad this fight happened.
But the only missed opportunity was that we never had a film with Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Donnie Yen. That would have been every kung fu/HK action/martial arts filmfan’s wet dream.
Underrated movie
Man I wish Hollywood did a fight between these two justice
This Fight was a dream come true for me.
jackie is fighting with monkey kings just 1 hair 😂😂😂😂
This was actually a sick sequence!!
I love this movie.
Two masters had met
People might say. Jackie chan vs Jet Li but I see Goku vs Vegeta 😅
Cuz u r a kid kid
Now I can't unsee it 😂
What does it mean in english
And who is who?
0 correlation. What is wrong with you? 😂
Very nice
Only part of this movie worth remembering lol.
Acrobatic tricks, anti-gravity feats, flips, cartwheels, sweeps, roundhouse kicks and Kip Ups aplenty...
_Those were truly entertaining times for martial arts fans._
Jackie Chan 🔥
Classic fight scene!
Underrated.
The fight coreo is just insane.
To think Jackie have a movie fight with Jet li, Jet li with Donnie Yen, and Donnie yen with Jackie Chan.
I just remembered the build up to the movie which was Jackie vs jet Lee and it was a must watch
2 living legend of martial art.
Две легенды! ❤
I’m halfway to being a ‘drunken immortal.’
Under-rated. I salute you, dear sir.... and go my way.
Waited for this for years and when we got it....it didn't disappoint. They should do a buddy cop movie😂😂
The fight scene was great the movie was terrible and Kung fu movie that focus around some dumb white boy is going to be really bad
True id love it
2:04 this move is so impressive
The drunk isn't an immortal, the monk isn't silent.
The drunk is the same guy from the present era where the American boy is from. He is definitely immortal. He’s also a piece of hair strand from The Monkey King.
@@nothinghereligma3363 in this scene he is not immortal.
@@Varun-uv4li shit my bad lmao I got mixed up who the monkey king is. Jet Li is a piece of hair strand from the real monkey king. Jackie Chan I forgot, maybe he drank some elixer from the dragon king but you’re right, not in this scene is he immortal.
Will watch. Thanks.
I fanboyed hard when I saw these two on the same screen 😂
Love it when Jackie gets in his drunken boxing bag!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Hello, I am Sanjeev. I Love you, Jackie Chan. Jackie Chan is Simply The Best
I really wish the film had more of this in it.
Some of y’all are not counting your blessings.
Amazing movie
Super Action fight
Jackie Chan is a legend, and Jet Li is great as well. Together its best thing that one can watch on the screen.
They're both legend
Nice..move
Two equals from differant disciplines.
Jackie Chan and Jet Li can't win against each other. They're evenly matched.
that's what I'm thinking but the production let Jet Li land more hits
The first isekai😂
this scene was the whole reason this movie was made
Amazing that this is the person the drunken style was based off of in history
Super
Get ready to the next battle jackie vs Li
Jet li mantis style really hits hard
I don't know I think Jet li landed too many hits... with such legends it should be more equal
Jet li wukong.
Jackie chan human inmortal.
Too many weirdos on the " jackie better" and "jet li" better discussion when the story isnt about ego and whos better smh.
I love both equally and appreciate the moment the made this movie. I loved this scene too used to watch it over and over befote continuing the movie.
I love both Jackie and Jet and I have never squeed so hard than during this fight.
Exactly both are great why people always gotta compare just admire this art
Feng vs Lei

Rewatching this again.. it feels like it should have been in one of the Matrix movies.
Oh I wish it were.
Merci beaucoup à vous deux mais ma star est bien jetli les deux grandes stards du films asiatiques 🇨🇩🇨🇩
The 2 greatest martial artists since Bruce Lee ❤

Yulaw vs Inspector Lee
Jackie stil moving well despite being an older guy compared to Jet
Ah yes, the days of obvious wire work
I Hope they can make another movie together. Decades took before this 2008 film happened. I read in the tag line, "The biggest superstars together. Never before and never again." Man, it's 2024 already. 16 years have passed already WOW. This film was not intended to be a film. The writer John Fusco, in Kung Fu magazine 2008, featuring the film, said he was telling a bedtime story to his son, then it hit him... The Monkey King and the Silent Monk as Jet Li. Who will play the Drunken Master? Who else?
When living he set Jet gave his son (them) a brigth smile, and said "Goodbye, my friend!"
Jackie Chan had a script. Jet Li was supposed to be on the film. O forgot the exact reason. Back then, he was already suffering from hyperthyroidism. I can't recall the exact title. That movie with a scene in Mongolia.
Siapa🤔 pemenang nya bestie😋aku kira2 sama2🙏🏻🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
2:45 what was that?!!
The gold thingie from the destroyed statue?
難得同台畫面
I really miss seeing Jet Li on the big screen(on the screen period tbh). Seems like Donnie Yen took his spot once Li stepped away.
finale boss meets finale boss
Thank you...
Just a guess...
Mirror match...
( it's yin and yang aspect )
(...of Sun Wukong)
Go, Jet Li!!!
I was so mad at this movie. We finally get these two legends together on a wack movie doesn’t make sense
This fight was excellent, the rest of the movie was OK
I can't believe this happened.
Between this and Infinity War, MAN we got spoiled. When Hollywood gave half a shit.
3:06 The Mantis!!!!!!!!
Jackie the dranken mantis more🔥f🔥i🔥🔥r🔥🔥e🔥
Feng Wei vs Lei Wulong, if you know you know.
Imagine both of em.young doing this
Isn’t this one of the last films Jet li made before his illness took over?
After The expendables 3...
Felt i was watching a highl level Tekken match.
The had the opportunity to give us a Golden Harvest era fight between these two and they didn't what could have been. Cool scene but does not truly showcase their skills.
Wukong vs Gragas
Yo which choreographer came up with “and then they kicked each other in the shins 3 times in a row”
might be a callback to an older jackie movie where he did that with another guy like 10 times on a rooftop
