Because it was a new attempt, it was a project that took a lot of time. It was only half a success, but it was a fun challenge and I learned a lot in the process. Please refer to the description box for additional information.
Ahh.. thanks bro , i always waiting part 2 , because i want to know how to linked 2 receiver in one remote 😂😂
Is the method all the same to linked 2 receivers with one remote? for any brand of remote?
Not really. Those recivers were other firmware updated. If you buy, please check with Flipsky before purchasing
pmme come malaysia
Makes me nostalgic for the "air gear" anime..
Thanks kami , i have been waiting for ( AT (AIR GEAR) build for years
HaHa, Sorry for that :-)
Thank you for waiting and watching!
deadass
Finally real Air gear👍 my childhood anime comes alive
Me dos(2) I wonder if there will be regalia
Thank you for watching :)
I FOUND MY PEOPLE!
As I mentioned in your first video, you need to switch over to wheels with a rounded profile. The reason they feel more like skis is because of the flat profile wheels you're using. Once you switch over to wheels with a rounded profile, you'll be able to lean and turn like on rollerblades. Please humor me and try it. 😉
Thank you for your opinion :-)
Not sure if you’re interested in this but if you used Omni wheels you could create assisted turns and wouldn’t need to lean really.
I agree flat profile wheels just dont make sense inline style wheels rounded off would have better result forsure
Air Gear vibes and im here for it!
HaHa :-) Thank you for watching
Hey Kami, this is a great build, especially when it's something you haven't done before. I think the reason it was difficult to turn or walk in those was because of you using longboard wheels rather than something like inline skate wheels which you would only need to lean to turn (but then you would likely have to 3D print custom pulleys to fit for those wheels and belts, and would be less stable for you if you haven't inline skated before). If you want to go faster, probably a bigger VESC would help (may need to be put on the back behind the snowboard bindings if it can't fit where it's original section). Maybe adding another battery connected in series would also help (but would then need to be put on the back behind the snowboard bindings in like a small bag or something). But if doing that, then the bigger VESC would likely need to be relocated to the top of your feet of the snowboard bindings (somehow). Doing all of this would lead to better specs and performance, but would make it heavier and not as clean/professional looking as yours.
Thank you for your opinion and watching :-)
FYI, the ESC I used this time could have brought out a much stronger output, but as in the video, I limited it to a current of 40A. And the battery of the additional serial connection for faster speeds is likely to get heavier as you say, so I don't think I can
I actually think you should lock-hinge the back supports and include an shin/ankle restraint. Give the hinge around 30 degrees of arc from say 110 to 70 degrees. Most inline skates depend on good ankle support for maneuvering. That and switching to a more round wheel will allow an easier lean turn control. Which seems like a good hybrid for the ski/skate design you are working with.
I request an ASMR cleaning video because that is the cleanest workshop I’ve ever seen. And that is a really refined looking prototype!
Thank you for coming and watching, Bro :-)
love watching you two ❤️
Ladies and gentlemen , I present you god of handcraft
You're one of the really old subscribers.
Thank you so much :-)

Well, you got em’ done! Nice work!
Thank you for watching :-)
This was awesome. 100% success and I love your dog
Thank you so much :) and watching it too.
1 step closer to air gear❤❤😍
Thank you for watching :)
Great video cool to see you building different things.
Thank you for coming and watching bro :-)
I noticed that when you're riding straight, if your tire isn't round enough, your foots can inadvertently come closer which can be dangerous and could even cause a fall. In my opinion, I suggest using larger and more rounded tires, as they can make turning easier.
Thank you for your opinion and watching :-)
*Nice to see the follow-up!*
🤟🏽⚡️🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽
mazin build, I smiled at 12mins 30sec when Kami gave the look and the music started with the project done 😁
Another cool project!! ❤
Thank you as alway brother :)
Yes, it took some time, but I had a great time to finish this project!!!
Looks neat and clean !!
Thank you for watching :)
Best design i have seen of powered skates so far, awesome job they are sick
Thank you soooo much :-)
Try looking into a (temporary) locking mechanism for 2 or 4 of the wheels & maybe it will help with trying to walk when you need to. Magnetic locks could be a good choice. You already have the power supply & there are loads of designs of mag-locks. And they turn on & off.
A thinner rounded-edge wheel in the front may be enough to make it more steerable. Good Luck.
brother you never stop amazing me! this is so cool! keep pushing the boundaries!!!!!
Thank you so much, Brother :-)
I really hoped to be able to meet this year, but it's been tough to make time. I'll try to prepare in advance next year so I can go.
See you then!!!
They are great bro, I love their design. great review 😊👍
Thank you as always Bro :-)
I LOVE these!! I made some specialized protective gear and a Wing that's perfect for them!!! Let's go!
Haha! Thank you for watching :-)
Very interesting diy build and good job
Thanks bro :-)
Great idea. I think you should try hub motors..for free roll. To extend range. Also a more narrow contact patch wheel 🫡. I’m no expert just throwing ideas around. Fantastic video🔥
Thanks for the suggestion and watching :-)
Hey Kami! That's an awesome build. I would of used Hota pneumatic wheels instead of mad PU wheels. The trick with rollerblading is to lean on turns and I feel with PU wheels being so flat, it's hard to turn. Also u won't need to raise the skate if u are able to lean side to side. Other than that this is wayyyy better than the other e-skate that u made a video of. A bit of fine tuning and I think there's a market for this in Canada. Do u want to work together on this?
I build can build molicel packs so that will help with making the battery more compact and thin...
Well...Let me think about it :-)
Thank you for your opinion and watching.
amazing work!
Thank you for watching :)
personally I think this is a great accomplishment knowing that most if not all either skated mid to late 90s. As far as suggested improvements are involved i would:
1. trim weight from the bottom frame like how current skates on the market have like how most 110-120mm wheel freeskates are.
2. Make the frame compatible with most skate boots on the market. I understand the ease of use with just having to strap in with just shoes but it seems very unstable and unsecure when you are at an avg cruising speed 20-30 mph on skates. Ankle support is a must and securing your feet would stabilize the ride longterm.
3. Belt covers for the drive motor. I seen this in most eboards but I dont understand why they wouldnt implement this feature unless it causes the motor to potentially overheat or make it heavier. I point this reason out because on the road there is always a chance that the debris from the road would get caught into the motorbelt causing a mid ride malfunction. Wether or not I am right about this is rather an if and when situation.
4. If there was a way to program this with a neural glide on the handset. Call me crazy but if this would happen it would possibly change the possibilities of e-inline forever. Trick skaters catching that speed and potential of a grind frame would be something of jet grind capability. This eventually would be a realtime version of what we seen in most older games or comics.
These are just suggestions but I see room for possibilities in the future with seeing what is crafted. Great vid and keep up the good work! 👍🏼👊🏼
Nice work!👏👏
Thank you for watching :)
Kami as always nice design 😎😁
Thank you so much :) for a long time.
Nice project ❤
Thank you so much :-)
Interesting Project!!
Thank you for watching :-)
This is a cool project
Thank you for watching :)
so sick!
Thank you for watching :)
This is so fascinating! I hope big companies can help innovate this DIY into a stable esk8 platform! What a pioneer!! 🤩
Thank you for saying that :-)
I can't even begin to understand the complexity but I can say I still enjoy watching your videos.😊
Thank you so much :-)
Looks cool. Cloudwheels would be nice on there.
It may be so :-) Thank you for watching!
Awesome Sir :)
Thanks!
well done
Thank you so much :-)
I am a skating expert. Ill come over and text the top speed of these bad boys
HaHa, Thank you for watching bro :)
I've been looking for a build like this for the longest time. Really great work.
In Europe in the summer, skiers use skates with this design profile to practice skiing in the summer months. Maybe you could look at them for design inspiration? But they use ski poles 😂
HAHA Thank you for watching :)
Nice vid as always!! I was just thinking about building electric inline skates.... and then you just uploaded a video! I would suggest you to change tires to another with round contact shape instead of squared. With inline skate you want the less contact shape you can, so you can move them muuuch better... Bcs I guess it will take a huge effort to make a simple turn with that tires and weight!
Thanks for the suggestion and watching :-)
brilliant!
Thank you for watching :)
Once again bro great innovation. Wheels need to be thinner for sure but I already am sure you know this. Perhaps if you find a way to use the larger inline skate wheels or even better inflatable tyres which would improve the comfort and rolling resistance. I look forward to the next version. As you always look to improve. I like great minds
Thank you for your suggestion and watching :)
This was great!! Really cool design process and aesthetic as always.
Also, you should do a dark episode where kami tells you to do evil things.😎
HaHa, Thank you for watching like that :-)
I think this is neat but I will stick with esk8.
Very well built and looks very well refined.
Thank you so much, brother :-)
Nice build 👍interesting how it with less square wheels 😉
Thank you for watching :-)
@KAMiJUINs
Awesome project!!
But those batteries NEED to be replaced for your own safety! I personally wouldn't use them for anything that requires a load from the motors, but for bench testing; they should be fine... evenso, I would be cautious around them if you decide to keep them ONLY on your bench ( in a Lipo Safe / Bag ). Storing them in a air-tight ammo can would be the safest solution beyond safely disposing them ( more on that later ).
When a lipo swells up, it's caused by 1 of 4 things...
1. Over charging, which is caused by higher than normal voltage input during battery recharge.
2. Over discharging, is caused by over using a lipo past it's minimum safe voltage cut-off point.
3. Over exposure to Heat, this causes the chemicals in a battery to react and swell up with the potential to explode or release a jet of flame.
4. Aging and wear, over time the batteries naturally degrade due to normal use and eventually puff up.
When a lipo puffs up it's a physical sign that they should be discharged safely and replaced. Don't throw lipo batteries in the trash, Don't puncture them with nails or burn them. They can become explosive and release very toxic chemicals into the environment ( even worse is if you breath in the gas ) !! There are products you can buy online to Safely Discharge lipo's down to ZERO volts and they're relatively cheap to own.
After the lipo's have Zero Volts, you can recycle them at a local Electronics Store; they have programs where they will ship the batteries to factories to recycle the chemicals to make NEW Batteries!!
Thanks for the suggestion and watching :-)
Every very cool. Even more impressive ypu designed and built them!
Maybe finding a thinner or more "pointy" wheel will help with control! Regardless, as always I throughly enjoy your video.
Thank you for your opinion and watching :-)
Best
Im imagining falling with this, crazy
Yeah, it's gonna hurt a bit
They give me Jet set Radio/Bomb rush cyberpunk vibes. I love it
Thank you for watching :-)
Wow! Amazing! You must have went to MIT
NOOOOOOOO WAYYYYYY lol :-)
Thank you for watching
70% Done 🙏😄😄
Thia is strat from an anime i love it
Thank you :)
product level
Perhaps if you could find round profile wheels, it will be much easier to control regardless of its long length. Overall this is a cool build
Thanks for the suggestion and watching :-)
😮!WOW!😮
Thank you for coming and watching bro :-)
gotta put either the batteries or both the batteries and esc/controls into a small backpack and run wires down to the skates somehow. since your foot is locked in anyway. then they could be lighter and made smaller overall lol that amount of weight on each foot is crazy
I feel the same way about the weight, but I didn't like riding with wires. That's why I got this design.
Thanks for the suggestion and watching :-)
man this makes me remember the Rollerblade anime.. Air Gear.. for those who not familiar with this anime ..you can search it on youtube ..
I see :)
nice project!!
the problem with e blades is the V stance. its very static and not at all like roller blading.
its not the length or the wheels. (humans need stability if powered both feet separately)
can not change this. (unfortunately) and if use both feet parallel you will fall on your back.
Thank you for your opinion and watching :)
Those snowboard bindings are likely to break your ankle one of these days wearing skate shoes like that. They are designed to work in conjunction with a very stiff boot that takes on the role of supporting your ankle. Also, the longboard wheels are stopping you from being able to turn. Flat wheels like that need some kind of steering rack (ie a skateboard truck). Good prototype, but you still have some major safety flaws.
I agree with you in terms of stable ankle support.
Thanks for the suggestion and watching
I missed you buddy good job on ur skates!
Go watch air gear :) for inspiration ❤
HaHa, Thank you for watching bro :-)
Gréât AirTreck
Thanks :-)
Man excellent job Kami! I would pay for.your servixes any day to help me on my esk8 remote- motors still wont turm and not sure about vesc tool innwhat to my do- atill way new at esk8. It is an mbaord interstellar 2.0 with the flipsky vx4 remote.
Thank :)
Then, how about contacting M Board?
will be awesome if you change for small wheels like a roller skate and electric. nice idea!! haven't see anyone trying to get a roller skate electric .
Thank you for your opinion and watching :-)
Crazy build haha, those swollen lipos gaved me stomach pain. 😂😂 Did the skates turned like regular ones do?
HaHa bro :-) As I said in the video, the skates themselves were heavy, so I didn't even care about turns. lol
Thank you as always!
Any plans to transfer the electronics to backpack bag,
like Atmos Gear have done with their electric inline skates?
Personal opinion, I think E-skates in that way is half finished. That's why I planned this build.
I would really like your opinion on the escend rollerblades in comparison to airtrick!
If I have a chance to review it, I will definitely compare it :)
Holy
Moly :) Thank you for watching!
When I saw this I remembered an old anime, Air Gear
HAHA many people said taht
Thank you for watching :)
First thing that went to mind was airgear
SKY REGALIA~!
HaHa :-) Thank you for watching
@@KAMiJUINs awesome build! Looking forward to the next one
Now make a Tracked version of this.
How did you build and design the base that's insane.
I always do sketches when I think of something. And I spend a lot of time looking for materials that can make them happen.
Meepos cyclone wheel will give more control and comfort. Or any wheel with a cambered / rounded profile
The wheels I used were not uncomfortable either. However, the skate itself was too heavy. lol
Thank you for your opinion and watching :-)
AIR GEAR!!!!!111 THE ERA IS NOW1111111
Thank you for watching :)
Could you try these with a more concaved contact patch wheels,
like Cloudwheels for more carving ability?
Well... I'm going to try again if I have a chance.
When can i order a set? Lol bro you better patent these designs!
Thank you for saying that :)
And I think it's impossible lol
large flat wheels are also not helping with turning / cornering... maybe try finding some rounded ones
Thank you for your opinion and watching :)
How do I get me a pair can they go faster and with more range?
If you adjust the gear ratio, you'll get faster speeds, and if you build it in a hub motor way, you'll get more ranges.
Ssweet game, broh
Thanks for watching :-)
pneumatic wheels would probably be best for this , more control less vibration and i feel like theyd be even more stable
Thanks for watching and commenting :)
I feel that you should swap these wheels for some inline skate wheels. even maybe some aggressive ones. Id personally go for 90mm or above though. id bet those would feel a lot more comfortable.
Thank you for your opinion and watching :-)
What's the hill climb ability like on these?
Most E-skates struggle on hills...
As you can see from the SPAC, of course, it is more powerful than most E-skates. I just lack my skating skills lol :)
What parts of the build do you consider a failure?
I think the problem was too heavy weight and long wheelbase. It wasn't easy to control skating with these.
