I think Disco would have been a major part of season 2, along with the New York rock scene if the show would have continued. They spent too much time on Richie's problems and dealing with the murder. Everything was coming together but it was too late.

I miss this show. For me it had all the ingredients to become the greatest series ever made. It was was too niche for a show with such high production costs. I think only men over 35 watched it. If only independent vinyl stores had a budget for advertising they might have saved the show. Instead we got a lousy gender reversal remake of High fidelity
