The '85 to '95 bikes were sooooo much better aesthetically than today's modern bikes.
I'll take the older bikes any day over the new ugly ones! Also, I can ride very happily without all the unnecessary computer crap. I have two Yamaha genesis bikes and they perform quite well. This bike is gorgeous!

I completely agree. Can't beat those FZR1000s and CBR900s from the early 90s. There's just something about them that looks so timeless, yet somewhat retro too. Also love the white paintjobs with some red and blue thrown in there from that time period. I wish I'd been around when those things were seen on the streets more often.

Thanks. I bought the FZR in December 2016. It is a first handbike. Only 20,000 km on the speedometer. She was never driven in the rain. They really look like new. A collector's item

I have a 93 but it has done 53,000 miles (85,000km ) but still runs great. Not in as great shape as yours though !

Had this exact model and year. Did Bol D'Or once with this and mate on ZZR-11. 150mph for several hours (in between fuel every 30 mins). Was running great. At those speeds it was using 1 litre of Motul Synth per 1000 miles. Did Med coast to Calais in about 7 hours. This was in the mid 90s.

Schönes Original. Hast Du das restauriert? Ich habe eine ganz besondere 92er FZR 1000 EXUP. Deren Rahmen, Schwinge und Felgen wurden vor 30 Jahren hochglanzverdichtet. Das hat mal ein kleines Vermögen gekostet. Vor kurzem habe ich die in etwas verwahrlostem Zustand für kleines Geld gekauft und restauriert. Ist ein SB-Umbau. Aber ein echtes Schmuckstück und ein Klassiker aus den frühen 90ern. Als die rauskam, war ich 35 Jahre alt.
