- What's up you bunch o' hicks! Hope everyone is doing well! Happy to be brining yall another fishing video. After the "fall baits" video my boat literally caught on fire on the way back to the launch so my season was ended sadly. BUT 2021 is a new year and were ready to go my friends! Kicking it off with a DANDY of a smallmouth from Newman lake this week.

Bro! I live in Spokane and I have never had much luck at Newman fishing anything other than pads in the dog days. What is this rock bar? Let's go fishing! I have a 16 ft tracker.
If you have a lake map you can find it very easily. I rarely fish Newman honestly. I prefer several other lakes, silver lake is a really good alternative.

I got a 3ish pounder largie right in those reeds by the boat launch. Left of the dock you can sit at. By the fence line. Just chilling 10 feet from shore.

I have fished roosevelt before in may and its great fishing! Just a far drive when I have Long Lake 20 mins from my house lol
I think its 5 easy! The girth alone pushes it to 5lb.
When I caught my 6lb smallie I thought it was like 5.5 so it def could have been 5 for sure. She was a beauty!
That is a trophy fish in our area! One of those make my summer of fishing. Nice job.

@Hunter fishman I dont believe I've ever seen restrictions on float tubes tbh but yeah, there is extremely limited shore access.
