Looks like something else landed in the water just before the Mk54 did. It certainly wasn't the parachute. I wonder if it was a sonar buoy? but it splashed down so close to the torpedo. I would assume the Mk54 has all the active/passive detection apparatuses needed that a sonar buoy so close wouldn't be needed. Only other thing i can think it may be is, something detaching from the torpedo/parachute to help them with separation once they splash down in the water. Cool video.
