I dont think Ill ever need a tripod like that, but this is the absolute business! Its so good to see good design and well thought out options. Enjoyed watching your review, well thought out and presented, thank you.
Underrated video, man! You're presentation is great, fun, and engaging and I love your candid review style. I'm gonna pick one of these up, looks like a perfect one man crew tripod!
@xavierstapleton9780 neither, grabbed the smallrig ad80 legs on sale for $100 and called it good for now. I mostly use a tripod for podcasting and static shots, then handheld or gimbal otherwise. So I cheaped out for now as I'm using mirrorless rigs that are under 10 lbs. They are ok, not great.
Yet another review of the video tripod without a second of the footage taken with the camera on this tripod. The very question is if it's smooth for panning and tilting with long lens - can you make professional looking shots without jerks. Can you make smooth circles? Is is still smooth with 300 mm lens on?
I bought the Ulanzi Video Fast Tripod this summer. I don't know how they compare performance wise but there's just a $100 difference between them. The Ulanzi has 10, 6, 6 stops for pan, tilt and counterbalance. It also has a mid level spreader vs bottom level. I'm not sure what the other differences are.
@jomarmmanzano it's been fine for me. The only issues I've had were user error. I foolishly had the drag set to the highest setting for the majority of the time that I've had it. It wasn't noticeable in the footage but it was more of a comfort issue for me since I would have to fight the resistance of the tripod head wanting to return to being level. If look for something to complain about, it would be some very minor leveling issues with the legs at times. Meaning since i have ocd, if it's not perfectly flat it bothers me lol since
Appreciate the review! Can't speak from firsthand experience. But based on features and perceived sturdiness (if that counts for anything) this is the most impressive of the budget tripods imo. Have more trust in this than the Smallrig Freeblazers for durability (head is a lot nicer too)
In your video you mentioned that there is another tier of professional tripods that includes all these features and are made at an even higher quality. Which tripod or tripods would that be?

Thanks for watching
Looks like a great tripod! I was going to ask what you filmed on and that plot twist at the end!
Surprise!

Thanks so much!

I'm more amazed by the fact that I wouldve never guessed it was iPhone footage
Thank you!☺️

If I have time, I'll make a followup video with footage shot on the actual tripod. Will update back when it's live.
@@EvanSchneider Please do I would love too as well specially on the long focal length

Yes, that's the main difference, I think the video head on the SQ75 is far superior to the freeblazer fluid head.
In your video you mentioned that there is another tier of professional tripods that includes all these features and are made at an even higher quality. Which tripod or tripods would that be?
Sachtler, OConnor, Miller
Does anyone know if the fluid head's quick release clamp is Arca-Swiss compatible?
Is that RCA camcorder functional? I own 2 Sony video 8s and a Panasonic S-VHS but haven't taken steps to make them functional yet.
I don’t think that camcorder works anymore unfortunately haha
You said its 399 i got excited just to find it out it sells for 700 in my country
Sorry, should have specified USD in the United States
@EvanSchneider getting it shipped is for sure an option but Amazon ain't doing that , nor is sirui
$500 yikes
$399 right now and like I said, for the features and quality, it's a great deal
Yawn 😊
