Hey Keith! Your demo convinced me I'd like two of these setups. Only problem, the pesos, rubles, the dollars that they cost. 😎😎

I can’t find it the legs . Idk why , the link doesn’t take me to the legs . But it’s advertised on their website but can’t purchase . Weird

Same here. I can’t find them on B&H or anywhere.

Have you noticed play in the legs when fully extended and panning? I'm considering this tripod but I'm worried about the legs twisting slightly when I pan on a higher resistance.

I just picked up the smallrig freeblazer. I wanted Sirui but with the fluid head it was out of my budget. I had a very heavy benro tripod for years but the one leg got hit and bent in on my last shoot so now it sticks and doesn’t deploy easily. The one thing I liked on the Sirui vs the Smallrig was how low you can go. Being more versatile adds value for me.

Both are good considerations, the smallrig is more affordable but seems less durable. The Sirui is built like a tank, but the price tag reflects that. Maybe I should do a comparison video?

Love my Robus RC-5570 and Manfrotto pan/tilt fluid head.

Have never used the robus, will have to check it out

@@keith-knittel I was looking at the Really Right Stuff brand when I came across the Robus brand. So far I think I've saved a boat load of money without sacrificing quality.

Just got the SVH15 head and noticed even when the tilt lock is fully locked that I'm still able to move it slowly if I pull on it a bit. Though it hasn't drifted while there is a rig loaded on it (tested with around 10-12lbs) , it's giving me some doubts.

Can't find it anywhere. Not even the Sirui site has it. Was it recalled?

Just checked the sirui site, I can't find it either! Not sure what happened

So far, it seems this will be the tripod leg of choice! But its no longer available to to patent issues....
I might still find it on some random site or EBay, but is it worth it?? Or look at the alternative YC Onion Pineta Peak Tripod?
    Not sure how it compares.

The SVT75 looks like it was replaced by the SVS75. I haven't used the SVS75, but it looks like the big difference is the flipping levers vs spin locks for height adjustment. I've been using the tripod and it's been working out well still! It's a tank

Hope you feel better. Get well soon. U know the old solution: Lots of hot sliced lemon & raw honey mix drink! Rest, tell your boss u need two weeks of paid vacation cause you have some more camera demos to make & your throat needs a rest from all of the talking you have to do for the sound track. Certainly, he'd go for that? Right! 😎😎

Hey! can you swap the ball head out? Like change the 75mm to say 100mm?

    • @keith-knittel

You can change the head, but 75mm only

Sirui kind of reminds me of Sigma and Godox. They're the best bang for your buck companies.

One of the legs on mine slides down. I think only men, or women with super strong grip, can lock these. So far I strongly dislike this tripod. Cannot compare to Sachtler.

Why you don't just grab the handle and put the tripod up and down with the camera on it to show us how it's work ? For me it's look too heavy to just handle it with only one hand... People they are showing this tripod only do it when they don't have camera on it...
