Gad zooks James...I'm so envious of your shale pit and ability to find such excellent Bonsai material...You have had an amazing journey this past what, 3-4 years...Love your channel, love your content, miss you making pots, love the market place...Well done and congratulations on an amazing 2024...Best wishes for 2025...Sequim, WA...
That new tree looks nice. Nice box you made for it. Tree looks good with the lichen removed. A lot of work. Those little trees you harvested were also nice. The small Blue Spruce will make a nice small bonsai, in fact the Red Spruce also. Hunker down for the cold coming your way.
You're so lucky. Ground where I am froze over a month are. Very nice acquisitions!! Oh, and I found you on Facebook. Just saying...😑😇 I use my long name on there.😅
If only we could collect trees here in Australia 😢 cant even take a river rock... how wonderful to be able to do that... what great moss and trees as well
I agree about the lichens. I’ve heard lichen don’t hurt trees, but have observed it damage some trees on the southcoast of Massachusetts. Personally, I don’t find it attractive like so many others seem to.
Amazing how the trees survive in this shallow ground. What about knee pads for yourself to keep the cold and dampness off your knees? That way you will not get arthritis in the knee. Safer also from any kneeling on the shale.
ماشاءاللہ بہت خوب جناب جیمز

Great video James! Thanks again for bringing us along to the shale pit! I’ll be trying my hand at concrete pots this winter too.

Having my cup of tea and watching another cool video. James on the hunt for some trees.
I've got a few trees in the woods near me that I've dug circles around to get the roots ready for removal...I'll dig them up next spring..
That is a beautiful scene at the beginning. Nice view of the past. These trees are cool.
Thanks for watching 🙏
Once again, nicely done James.
Great collection James I’m so jealous 😂😂

oh wow! cannot wait to see how they do! already looking forward to an update next year.
One addition I would do om y=the big tree is to drill Many holes on each side to promote root growth. All the best to you and Val.
I wish I lived in such a beautiful place
Thanks 🙏
James made a haul! what a gift. Do you get White Pines there? Nice Show!
