I agree because I’m in the middle of it now… my dad is not that kind of a man that I can share everything with so I keep a lot of things to myself .. we greet and we chat but it’s kinda shallow between us and not deep .
I was never close to my Dad,it was tough seeing friends who Dad's kissed and said they loved him. Now he is in a better place and I do miss him...So I find that my Dad was a only child and his Parents (my Grandparents)died when my Dad was 12 ..he never knew how to express it...Maybe that day will come and I wish you the best..

Umm.. no. I don’t understand why people keep saying this. a lot of women have really bad relationships with their dad. Not every girl has that “daddy daughter” bond.

I wonder what it's like having a dad tbh
I'm crying so badly right now. On 2009, My dad was diagnosed with skin cancer. Fortunately, It stopped for a while but right now, the cancer is reactivated and stronger than in the past. My dad said that possibly he won't be able to see me getting married. I'm enjoying him the best that I can while he is still by my side. I still have the hope he will be there that special day.

There is nothing, nothing stronger then a father's love for his little girl. I live 300+ miles from my daughter who just turned seven and I miss her very moment of every day. I truly hope God shows me the mercy to walk her down the aisle on her special day. I'll probably north of 70 by then, I'm 51 now. Love you little girl.

Well... I guess it really depends.
If your father and mother didn’t have a good relationship, and you grew up seeing that, you view marriage differently.
If your father was a shit dad in general, who didn’t give a fuck and was never there, you also don’t think “he will never hurt me. He’s my #1”
I think a lot of it has to do with how you were raised and what an example your parents set. That’s just how it is.

These first looks were all so emotional,so wonderfully dear and sweet. I never had that,I cry every time I watch any first looks. What I do have is a long devoted marriage, his kisses still thrill me ,we are very senior citizens ❤️

Even though my dad died when I was still in my mom's belly, I know that he is watching me from heaven and also hope he will be proud of me when my special day comes. I'm just 13 years old, but I can't help but smile everytime watching these videos.

My father died when I was 14. I will never experience that on my wedding day for sure.

I am father of two beautiful daughters (every daughter is beautiful) one 6 years old and one 1 1/2 years old. I hope when they reach that (marriage) day I am alive, but why these videos make me emotional today. God give them ( ALL DAUGHTERS, SISTERS) every kind of happiness and love. I would love to last till my daughter's wedding. She is my princess, the best thing that could ever happen to me. And I am so proud of her.
They are lucky daughters but I'm not, I used to be so close with my dad, I was a daddy's girl but My parents separated when I was 5 and I lived with my mom, I still spent time with my dad untill I was 7, but then he got married again and lived in another city, things changed and we never spend time together since.. it was very hard for me at the time, I lived in denial and couldn't move on from the fact that my parents have split, I always wanted them to get back together but fortunately, at the age of 14 I started to embrace the reality and totally forget about my desire to reconcile them..

I’d like to imagine things like this as a dad and a little girl far away.
The little girl runs to her dad saying “Daddy!” and as she gets closer to him, she turns older and when she hugs him, the girl who is now a woman is the one wearing the bride gown.
I’ll never forget watching my wife dance with her dad at our wedding. A million thoughts raced through my mind. “I wonder what he’s thinking” “I hope I can do right by her” “Would I be a good father to his grandchildren some day?”
After their dance, he walked over to me, shook my hand as everyone watched, and said “I know you’ll take good care of my little girl and I’m honored that she’s marrying you.”

The dad's job as a parent ends when they send their beloved child to marriage. It happens, yet fathers still have to go through giving up their baby girl. So be appreciative if you get married, cahse your held accountable for keeping his baby safe.

It’s great to see how many fathers on here love their daughters....just remember that your precious princess’ mother is someone’s daughter too and they ought to be treated with the same love and respect you’d want somebody to treat your baby when you’re not around

Oh noes, i'm sorry...this Video is sooo beautiful, so much Joy and you captured each Moment just perfectly. It were most likely tears of Joy i cried, but Deep down it made me a little sad. This Video is everything wonderful i needed to see to feel happy for every beautiful woman and their dads on their special day. Watching this kinda feels like giving my best friend her most desired Gift, and watching her opening it, if that makes any sense to you. (Sorry if my english is not correct, i'm from germany)
And to explain, my father isn't dead or so, but he chose alcohol before me years ago, when i was a Kid. So i don't even know him really, but seeing this makes me miss something i never had...

No matter son or daughter, i know i will cried like a baby when my kids married..im a single dad (i have a boyfriend), My triplet sons now 4 yrs old... I cant imagine when they get married..
For many years I don't talk to my dad, he said that he wish I've never been born. I also don't have a man who loves me, all I have is me. I'm in deep emotional pain while seeing how beautiful it is to have a family who loves you. I'm really happy for all those people who found the happiness or will find in the future. Would like to wish to every single person in this world to be happy.

On my daughter's wedding...all I remember is that day, wrapped in a blanket, crying and screaming un the delivery room in my arms and I distinctly remember when her eyes opened, just a little, she stopped crying, silence...just looked at me...like she always knew me and like I always knew her...that was the moment I'll never forget and it's the only moment I thought of that day...
I don’t remember my daddy’s face. Because he left me forever when i was 3 years old. 😓.
