China already has border disputes with over 20 countries, the modern day imperialist.
And the reason why indians keep yelling Free Tibet is because an independent Tibet not under the protection from China is easier for india to annex under "Akhand Bharat: Imperialist india."
Wow, I was excited but not too excited to go to Taipei in January. It was cheaper ticket wise to go to Taipei but I wanted to to go Thailand or Vietnam. This made me more excited for my visit!
Not even close to Taiwan, as a country Taiwan is Better by far than Vietnam and Thailand, if you are into shopping and big cities and technological areas, Taiwan got you cover, nature is amazing, a lot of beautiful parks, lakes and mountains, the only thing were Vietnam and Thailand wins over Taiwan are beaches, beaches in Southeast Asia are better
I spent 8 months last year studying in Taipei, and I legitimately can't go a day without dreaming of going back. I love the US, but I left half if my heart back in Taiwan, and can't wait to go back ❤

I feel like Drew has lost his touch a little with the every day traveller. I used to love watching Drew’s video which were simple and really appealing to budget and every day travels . Don’t get me wrong he does still do that kind of content every now and then, and he absolutely deserves all the success in the world, and I still love his content and want to support him, but this and a few other videos feels so different and out of touch to what his videos used to be. I mean he mentioned trying to promote Taiwan to others, though in the video he’s going via Business Class, into the presidential palace with a superior suite and eating at a Michelin Star restaurant, it just didn’t really capture wanting to travel to Taipei IMO, when his likely audience won’t go to Taipei for those reasons. And ultimately just feels worlds difference to previous videos where he’ll really capture a country to which everyone can do and enjoy.

UNGA Resolution 2758 does not address Taiwan's sovereignty. You are flat out wrong on your claim. UNGA Resolutions are also non-binding. Taiwan has never been part of PRC or any China. It is an independent country for over 70yrs with official name ROC.

ALL parks are free and mostly devoid of the kind of excessive nationalistic propaganda you find in any Chinese park. People in Taipei are incredibly friendly. They follow rules so it's not hectic on the road like in any Chinese city. Good air quality. Mountains in every direction. Cheap cost of living, great schools, amazing cuisine. I can go on!
As someone who has lived in Taiwan for over 9 years now I have to say it. Taipei (main city) is not my favourite city in Taiwan. Maybe it's just my age. Taipei is fine in small doses but there is so much more to the country than Taipei. If you're visiting Taiwan, sure visit Taipei, but make sure to leave the city and see some other places. There are some beautiful countryside and coastal areas outside of the city in "New Taipei City" like Shen'ao Elephant Trunk Rock as well as the easternmost and northernmost points. I wish people knew more about the rest of Taiwan though...

If I had to choose, probably Hualien, would love to go back to the east side and see more of it (and Toroko Gorge). Yilan was also very nice. Hsinchu is also underrated, I used to think it was boring, but gained an appreciation for it after living in Miaoli. I even made a two-part episode about Hsinchu City. Kaohsiung/Taichung are also contenders for interesting cities. Still, the beauty of Taiwan is outside of the cities.
