The view is so much better when you are on the balcony. Mobile Mardi Gras is fun. They have so many parades so you can pick n choose the ones you like over a span of 3 weeks culminating on Fat Tuesday. There’s also a variety of balls from semi formal to formal as well as a few music venues. Mobile has numerous restaurants and awesome seafood as well. Also on Dauphin Street ( mini version of New Orleans French Quarter) there plenty of bars, eateries, live music, dj music. The Mobile Mardi Gras museum is spectacular especially if you get a good museum tour guide. Everyone joins in the revelry and gets along for the occasion.
