@Clam Clam Actually, no. She indeed looks good for her age and that's a fact. Yes, beauty is subjective, but as human beings we can all agree that when people get old they tend to become not as beautiful as before. The human body degrades every day, functionally speaking. When you get old, this is clearly noticeable: your face wrinkles, there may be spots on your skin, hairs grow in your ears when that didn't happen before, and so on. Bro, just look at this: 6:29 . You CAN SEE the changes and how she looks more vivid and colorful after the makeup and those things. These attributes are generally found in youth because the human body has not yet degraded as much as the body of an older person. I reiterate: YES, she looks good FOR HER AGE, and not only that, she looks prettier in general because of makeup and changes, and that's it. Associate youth and beauty isn't a crazy thing as you put it in there. If anything, society should learn more about the body and our lives as a human being.

I raised three daughters and they always came first in my life. They have all successfully left the nest now and all of a sudden it’s just me. But who is ‘me’. It has taken over 10 years for me to put myself first for once and even now I feel selfish at times. Does anyone else know what it’s like? It has been a big learning curve but here I am. Exercising, studying, running, just in love with life and you don’t need a fortune to be happy. I am confident, self assured and have set some goals for the future. I am 75 years of age and have a positive outlook on life. The day I leave this Earth will be of no concern to me, I shall have gone. I certainly won’t be worrying that’s for sure. I style my hair every day, put on makeup, perfume, clean freshly laundered clothes, and a smile. It’s good to be alive. See you out there

I know exactly what that's like..I was a single mother and went through hell.. fleeing all over the city with my kids..just me and them..now they're all away in late twenties and one who's 30 I have no identity..i was a mother but I don't know who I am anymore.. it's scary. It's lonely too.

I am 75 and now disabled. I had a bilateral mastectomy. No boobs. Got chemo induced peripheral neuropathy. Barely walk. Use a walker. Cannot balance. Pain in feet, swollen legs. Makeup won't fix this. Men do not want to consort with disabled women.
So many women as they age feel like they don't recognize the face in their mirror. I'm one of those women. We just don't know how to apply make up to our aging face! She looks gorgeous!!

That's makeup and hair dye. NOTHING to do with self-love. If anything it's the opposite.
I love when natural red heads dye their hair a more vibrant red. So pretty.
Red hair over time fades. If you have red hair it will never be more vibrant than when you are a child. It peeks as you enter puberty and then it's downhill from their. This is more of a hair restoration than a redo of color and style. This shade is probably very close to what she had in her early teens which is usually the best any person's hair is. Redheads usually have it the hardest. My grandmother was a redhead. My aunt was a hair dresser so she took care of my grandmother's red hair for the last 37 years of her life. She kept it and maintained it so no faded roots ever showed.
@@nunyabiznez6381 My step-daughter is 15 and a red head. It definitely doesn’t look like like the dyed side. She sometimes gets blonde or pink highlights, but hasn’t gone for the more vibrant red yet.

One of the most beautiful changes I have ever seen. The lady is so kind and now she looks like a Hollywood star. I am so happy for her. The make-up artist and the hair-dresser did a wonderful job.

And the hair. Can't forget the hair. I know a lot of natural red heads who lose their color over time, so to see it so vibrant had to be a lift.

I am in my late 60's and still love wearing make up and trying new things to look healthy! I even had what i called "covid" make up routine since for 2 months did not leave the house! Some of my friends say negative things like "who is looking at us?" but I feel it makes you feel better when you are confident in your appearance. Wonderful video! Thank you.
Regina yes this is fabulous. When you wear makeup for yourself it gives you more energy and confidence. I love this!
You should feel supreme confidence WITHOUT makeup, at your age. How can reach 60 and still care about your looks like a teenager? Care about your health and fitness, but never about being "pretty". It's a disability, to feel "less than" without the mask of makeup.

So true.. I looked in the mirror a few days ago and thought wow. I've really let myself go. So I splurged on a couple outfits online feeling guilty as hell of course thinking that should go to the kids but we HAVE to do something nice for ourselves once in a while. My great aunt said it's important to do something nice for yourself every single day no matter how small. Buy some flowers, take time to read a book, watch some Netflix, do your makeup, have a bath.

Can I just point out, that she is such a beauty to begin with? This amazing hair and her lovely face. She just look a bit tired, which with her workload is no wonder. But so sweet, that she had such a lovely makeover. Sometimes we need a bit of extra to show how we want to be seen
Absolutely she is beautiful before and after. The magic of a makeover is us taking care of ourselves and feeling good inside - that’s the only way it works!
I used to be a make up artist and began my career working in the mall at a makeup booth. My favorite memory was of a lady that looked to be in her late 40’s, she was walking by my booth with her boyfriend and his brothers. I asked her if she wanted a free makeover and his brothers were all making mean remarks that she was too ugly and I couldn’t make her pretty. I told them all to walk away and that when they returned they would be surprised by how beautiful she was.
As I applied make up, I also asked her if I could fix her hair a little. It was a pretty dated style but I had hair tools and I spruced it up. She was very insecure and was glad I was giving her any attention to her looks.Throughout our whole conversation I built her up and told her that she was already beautiful but all that I was going to do was enhance her pretty face. I didn’t let her see herself till the very end and the expression on her face was priceless! And when her boyfriend and his brothers returned and saw her, their mouths dropped open! I absolutely love the transformative power of makeup and hair! Every person has beauty within and it’s wonderful when you can have it displayed outwardly for others to see.💕

This was a most satisfying makeover to watch not only because the results were so believable and not overdone, as others have commented (i.e., enhancements but not a mask) -- but also because the vid offers plenty of well-lit close-up time with the subject. Feedback from loved ones in person and on facetime was lovely. The closing scene of carefully / slowly squiring the elderly parent outdoors -- part of what elder care is about is tuning in to and enhancing the elder's abilities -- was touchingly real. Excellent video overall. The authenticity shines through. Thank you.

Gorgeous! The makeup & hair are the obvious changes (and look awesome), but what I find really amazing is that her voice tone and speaking patterns change when she knows she's beautiful. Her interview voice almost sounds like a smoker 0:45 and has a lower tone and choppier pattern. But when she feels better, her tone sounds like a slightly higher pitch and smoother at 8:21. She has a beautiful laugh also at 6:45 and sounds tickled to look so good!

she looks amazing, i like to hear that she's going to do more for herself, thats so important ladies if you dont depression sets in and we need to remember our children and grand children need to see that getting older doesnt mean we stop carrying about how we look, dont let anyone take that away from you, life is too short, i watched my mom fall into that and she was a beautiful woman but didnt have the self esteem she should have had and was miserable, break the cycle, good job.

yes. I know from experience. I quit my job to take care of my father in law when he had a stroke. It’s a tough job. He was so precious. Looking back I thank God for the privilege of caring for him. And my children had the experience of spending more time with their grandpop.

That was amazing to see, I'd love to see my 74 6r old mom have that kinda 360 turn around. She's never worn make up really . This lady was down cast and no twinkle in her eyes. The minute she saw herself...5he way she spoke and held herself was like seeing a different gal than in the beginning. I also want those lifting tools for myself. Fabulous Video made me 😃

She’s a caregiver. Even though this is sweet, when you’re a caregiver for an elderly family member you just can’t keep up with this unless you have a live in stylist and cosmetician. She looks beautiful though.
Yeah I was just thinking that red hair is gonna fade so fast. And who has time to do a full face of makeup and curl your hair when you're a caregiver. At least she got to feel beautiful for a day though..

WOW!!! A-MAZ-ING!!!! I recently become a widow. My husband used to help me with my hair color, I parted it off and he would apply the color. I went darker so it would be "easier" to take care of. Recently, I had a picture taken with a young lady & my friend forwarded it to me. When I looked at it. I recognized her but I asked her who was in the picture with her. She said, that's you! I have got to get my hair color back to a color that looks like me! Jessica, Yu are majic!!! GOD BLESS YOU!!!

Loved this, congrats on a beautiful new you! I wish I could’ve heard more of the conversation music was overpowering to me. Thanks for a job well done. I’m a former model but it’s not easy to stay looking good. Especially with the media & especially the culture being so obsessed with size, plastic & cosmetic surgery it’s like the average woman is still not very well represented. We are aging like fine wine. But these sweet makeovers can boost the self esteem of those ladies in need! Bravo!
