This was the first time I ever cried watching golf. I’m the biggest Tiger fan there is and I’ve stuck with him through everything he’s gone through. His reputation took a hit and his image was wrecked from his past transgressions. He humbled himself and became a different person than he once was. This was Tiger’s defining moment both as a man and a golfer. He redeemed himself and pulled off the greatest comeback in sports history. 🐯
I just rewatched every minute. The greatest comeback in sporting history. Very emotional with parallels between the hug with his father and his son charlie. The greatest theres ever been
Man this will never ever get old. I was too young to remember tiger when he was playing the most but I know I was watch with my dad. I’m so glad we had a video back then. Being able to look back in history and see everything he’s done over the years is amazing. I know he will find a way to win again I know it. He is not done yet
I’ve watched this 3 times from ‘Amen Corner’ and it still gives me goosebumps every time. Thanks to the Augusta National Golf Club for making this available.
Wife: “How can you sit there and watch a golf tournament from last year?” Me: “Because Tiger is amazing and it gives me goosebumps and brings me joy. How many episodes of ‘Holiday Baking Championship’ are you gonna watch in April?”
During this COVID-19 crisis, this the perfect video to watch while under the "stay-at-home" directive. Sure beats repeat episodes of Family Feud or repeats on the Food Network! I'm with ya on that response to your wife! OH SNAP! 😎⛳
I just watched this again in 2024, never gets old. No telling how many times I’ve watched this final round. Incredible. Maybe one day I’ll get to see a masters Sunday in person…
Yeah the Masters is really exceptional when it comes to viewer's experience, everything from the app to the broadcast to the social media is absolutely 'A' Tier.
The 1st tee announcer saying “okay guys, ready to play a little golf?” before he introduces the final group of the most historic day in golf... such a boss move
Probably one of my favorite masters I’ve seen in my lifetime. Maybe the 6th time I’ve watched this front to back. Cheers to tiger woods. Golf wouldn’t be where it is today without him.
@@Jpgundarun She claims she was crucial to all his tournament wins while they were married and claims a percentage of those winnings. So maybe she will try to sue for these winnings too? It's a joke. Lighten up.

I love how at the end there are so many moments where they are silent. They didnt know what to say. So they stayed silent. Thanks Tiger. I will remember this forever.
That par 3 was the pivotal moment. Tiger went with the smart and safe play and didn't let any ego or adrenaline get to him. Sign of a true veteran champion
Yes, experience is why he is champion, I remember when he said about what Jack Nicklaus told him about that hole in particular. Also knowing how the greens will go, where to place their ball on the right side of the green, a lot of that is experience. This was probably some of the other player's downfall.
Yep you can go all the way back to 1997 and see how Tiger played the hole the exact same way. Even with a 10 shot lead he still didn’t go at the back right pin on Sunday, playing well left and two-putting from 60 feet
This was probably the greatest back 9 in masters history to watch as a fan in person and on TV. This is why Tiger Woods has so much physical and mental toughness in him because of the things that he has gone through and has accomplished throughout his career.
@@mrsirman2177 Tiger hadn't won a major tournament in a decade before this after his life just sort of fell apart for most of the 2010s which is a story for another time.

Me too. My favorite go to during this Covid year. I think I've watched every Masters that Tiger won at least 5 times, this one more. I know this one by heart now. :-)
2:40:14 - The reason why Jack Nicklaus won so much was that he made the most pars when they were needed. The putt on hole 9 is, in my opinion, one of Tiger's greatest shots. He could have easily screwed this up and walked away with a bogey, even double bogey. He'd enter the back 9 with confidence shaken. But he made par. Sign of a champion. This putt ensured his confidence - he could do it. We'll remember the tee shot on 12, 16, and the putt on 18. But this putt on 9 was absolutely terrific. If you're a true golf fan, you know what I'm talking about.
I have watched this at least 5-7 times in its entirety. I was at the practice round on that Tuesday and flew back home Wednesday night, to watch the last 4 rounds from the comfort of my couch. Still get chills watching him win his 5th jacket after so many counted him out! Will always be my favorite!

They are smart and I believe own all the footage. They just allow CBS and ESPN to broadcast. Smart of them to post them online for us too! I’m gonna go back and watch them all now with this years being cancelled/postponed
Tiger has made watching golf, playing golf over the years fun and exciting. He brought to the game something special that no golfer ever has. Thank you, Mr. Tiger Woods!
I've watched 80% of every PGA tour event since about 97. This final round in my opinion is the best. First time I've ever had a tear in my eye. And it was all because of Charlie. I lost it when he hugged tiger because I have a little boy. I vaguely remember the 86 Masters. Which I guess you could say these were the two best. Which includes every major every PGA tour event
I’ve done it once I followed tiger at the BMW championship in 2010 the year Dustin Johnson won I’m pretty sure. I live near Cog Hill and wished they would’ve stayed there
This is one of the greatest moments and redemption stories in sports history. Hard not to get choked up seeing him make that final putt and hug his son. I come back and watch this every year.

This was the day I moved across the country back home from my ex'es house depressed, but this happened and i've always thought of it as a new beginning. If Tiger can overcome all hes done then I can too. Almost 2 years later and i'm doing amazing. Can't believe this one gold moment helped me so much.
Way too be!
Amazing how we can relate to each other in times of need. See you made it to the other side Yolanda. I was one year ahead of you. :-)
so glad you're doing well. You keep on crushing life!
Great to hear! 💪💪💪🙌🙌🙌
Just avoid driving like a d**k and you'll be OK.
I’ll never forget that April Sunday in 2019 watching Tiger win the Masters. Special day.
My girlfriend will never understand how I can watch 5+ hours of a golf tournament that happened last year. And that just makes me sad for her.
oh well, i am sure your gf feels the same about other things lol.
Same here :/
S J lol! I hear ya.
People watch the same movie more than once. How is this any different?
I just tuned in - and put the headphones on so she can sleep on. BTW, it's 4:41 am on Thursday, April 23, 2020 - mired in Coronavirus lockdown for what seems like months already. Just dying to play softball and/or golf. The latter shall come soon, MyFriends - very soon!!!!

One of the best things I’ve seen in my entire life. It’s not just a. showing of a sport. It’s strength and love after strife.
I agree with Nick Faldo. “ That will be the greatest scene in golf forever.”
Nah when he breaks Jacks record it’ll be much better. Trust me
@Ryan Marsden have you learned nothing about doubting this man
@@SpudRud too bad he wont
Not just in golf!
Alozie Azuogu he may not break Jack’s but he’s gonna break Snead’s
This was the first time I ever cried watching golf. I’m the biggest Tiger fan there is and I’ve stuck with him through everything he’s gone through. His reputation took a hit and his image was wrecked from his past transgressions. He humbled himself and became a different person than he once was. This was Tiger’s defining moment both as a man and a golfer. He redeemed himself and pulled off the greatest comeback in sports history. 🐯
I just rewatched every minute. The greatest comeback in sporting history. Very emotional with parallels between the hug with his father and his son charlie. The greatest theres ever been
Still brings a tear to my eye a year later, this man brings me so much joy.
The man Beet ik
I feel the same way Beet; I donate to his charity for that reason!!
Hello how are you doing
@@jessicalinda6648 hello
@@marietaylor5174 after i read your comment i donated and will every year going forward. thanks.
Best thing that's ever happened in golf and best thing I've ever seen in sports. This is truly unbelievable.
Man this will never ever get old. I was too young to remember tiger when he was playing the most but I know I was watch with my dad. I’m so glad we had a video back then. Being able to look back in history and see everything he’s done over the years is amazing. I know he will find a way to win again I know it. He is not done yet
One of the greatest sports comebacks of all time... and a golf course I grew up right next to as a child. The whole weekend was so magical.
Watching this again years later. The best moment in sports, ever.
I’ve watched this 3 times from ‘Amen Corner’ and it still gives me goosebumps every time. Thanks to the Augusta National Golf Club for making this available.
Hello how are you doing
@@jessicalinda6648 👍🏾
How are you doing today
Tf?
Don't disregard the putt on #9. Vital to the victory and one of the best putts I've ever seen
Wife: “How can you sit there and watch a golf tournament from last year?”
Me: “Because Tiger is amazing and it gives me goosebumps and brings me joy. How many episodes of ‘Holiday Baking Championship’ are you gonna watch in April?”
soooo true
Yeah ask her about Paula Dean or Rachel Ray and she'll light up. Lol! Just me speculating. Heh heh...
Wife : I’m gonna go watch Bachelorette You: Go Tiger!!🤟🤟
During this COVID-19 crisis, this the perfect video to watch while under the "stay-at-home" directive. Sure beats repeat episodes of Family Feud or repeats on the Food Network! I'm with ya on that response to your wife! OH SNAP! 😎⛳
Because we can, lol
4:36:42 "Oh my goodness" 14 years later and the moment was just as sweet. Verne is legendary
"Perfect execution...and an extra revolution."
Verne and Nantz together just get commentary.
“Tiger has hunted them down and now he’s gunning for the kill.” Goosebumps
That was Faldo way of apologizing for all those years of bashing him on air during his career.
Amazing call indeed.
I could watch the last half hour on repeat constantly. This tournament will live on forever.
I just watched this again in 2024, never gets old. No telling how many times I’ve watched this final round. Incredible. Maybe one day I’ll get to see a masters Sunday in person…
Just want to say, I really appreciate that this is posted for the public to watch for free. Fantastic piece of golfing history.
I heard that too. Nice to put everyone at ease and really just enjoy the moments to come.
Probably one of my favorite masters I’ve seen in my lifetime. Maybe the 6th time I’ve watched this front to back. Cheers to tiger woods. Golf wouldn’t be where it is today without him.
The most magical day in sports I've ever witnessed. The Golf Gods gave us something very special
Somewhere the doctor that operated on his back is saying "Thats all me."
hahhahahahahhah
And he'd be right, too
Also his ex wife is saying the same thing!
@@jamesalmond9705 Whats it got to do with his ex? You do things after a divorce, its got FA to do with them? I don't understand.
@@Jpgundarun She claims she was crucial to all his tournament wins while they were married and claims a percentage of those winnings. So maybe she will try to sue for these winnings too? It's a joke. Lighten up.
Imagine humans in the year 3000 watching this... this itself can save humanity. It enduces Pure tears of joy and bliss. Something so lifting and cleansing for even the viewer. Tiger always had the ability to do that. Lucky to witness his entire career.
That guy has never had an ego!
I have seen some, after shooting 2/3 birdies feel like they have won a tournament. Only ending up losing the tournament
Yep you can go all the way back to 1997 and see how Tiger played the hole the exact same way. Even with a 10 shot lead he still didn’t go at the back right pin on Sunday, playing well left and two-putting from 60 feet
That walk of victory with his family was absolutely incredible.
We will all remember where we were when Tiger did the impossible. Greatest moment I’ve ever seen from the greatest of all time.
loved the moment and Tiger... but lets not go crazy here. It wasn't close to his greatest moment and he's still shy of the greatest of all time.
@@sarasarah1810 2nd is first loser
This was probably the greatest back 9 in masters history to watch as a fan in person and on TV. This is why Tiger Woods has so much physical and mental toughness in him because of the things that he has gone through and has accomplished throughout his career.
one of the greatest moments in Sports history
Crowd only came for Tiger lol
Could you explain please, i know nothing about golf
@@mrsirman2177 Tiger hadn't won a major tournament in a decade before this after his life just sort of fell apart for most of the 2010s which is a story for another time.
Who else will watch all 5 hours still. It’s incredible
Miss you and love you, Dad. You would have loved to watch this with me. I know you were smiling throughout, as was I. Tiger was - and always will be - our favorite.
Going for my 3rd time watching. its emotional just for a fan. Every kid in the 90's wanted to play like Tiger. Pure greatness.
3rd time watching this masters watched it live each day when it aired, and now 2nd time watching this final round on TH-cam, never get tired of it and seeing the greatest Tiger Woods making his grand comeback and to win it at Augusta is the best part
@Hello Phillip Garcia, How are you doing?
When you pull your shot, will you get a slice or a hook?
Masters Sunday is always the most emotional day of the year for me. Even though I know what happens the emotions are all the same.
Love how Faldo and Nantz just sat back quiet and let the moment speak for itself. That will forever be ingrained!
Watching golf is a passion.....I been watching and playing golf since i was 6... I grew up watching Tiger Woods all day everyday.. Seeing him come back and take the golf world by storm, you can't even script that up even if you tried... There are so many great players that i love to watch.
Brooks Koepka "I want to be the Michael Jordan of golf"
Michael Jordan "Speak to Tiger"
Amen my friend. You said it. Brooks koepka’s 15 min of fame are up. He is just to much of an egotistical person to be the greatest. I feel that Koepka resents Tiger. Which is s big mistake. Koepka will never be a Woods or a Michael Jordan of golf!!
@bigman9099 Already. Tiger had 10 at the same time plus 46 Tour wins. His arrogance is misplaced as he's not even in the top 10 greatest ever players. I agree with you over his tour wins
Brooks Koepka is the best. He's the future of Golf.
@@michaelpelletier3443 You're out of your mind if you don't think every athlete that's at the top of the sport doesn't have a massive ego. Brooks is just more transparent about it.

amazing enough for me to re-watch him winning and leave another comment. I love sports and music and just human skill in general...to be able to overcome and achieve amazing things. The embrace with his family and all of the people supporting him is just unreal. Brings tears to my eyes for this man!
I wonder how many times I will watch this. This is number 4 or 5 already. This win took us all back in time. Thank you Tiger.
I have palyed golf for 60 years and this moment was the most moving I have ever witnessed. There is nothing you can say.
if tom watson had won the Open that time... that would have been up there with this...
I forgot just how great the celebration was at the end. Pure joy by Tiger, his family, his friends, and the fans!!!
It's great that all the guys on tour love when Tiger plays as much as we do. We're so lucky to have been around to see the greatest golfer ever. The guy was born with a club in his hands. 2022 St.Andrews.. Go Tiger!!
They should be,thanks to him the prize money has increased dramatically.
This was broadcast on television all day today as well. One of the greatest sports stories of all time by the best player of all time!
@Fennel Woods - CBS or NBC I believe .. one of the primary networks.
I have never missed one major since 2000 seeing this guy play. What a time to be alive.
watched the entire stream and then remembered it was nearly 5 years old... still the best moment in sports.
Was there and followed Woods the whole way and one of the best experiences I have ever witnessed at Augusta National, sending best wishes to Woods as The Masters isn’t the same without him.
This was one of the most inspirational moments in sports history
This was what made me get back into golf. I was lost for words watching this live and I don't know if I could sit for over 5 and a half hours to watch something else, let alone something i have already witnessed. Greatest comeback in golf history
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve re watched this
seriously I can't stop.
Me too
no matter how many times I rewatch this I still don't believe it
Me too. My favorite go to during this Covid year. I think I've watched every Masters that Tiger won at least 5 times, this one more. I know this one by heart now. :-)
I fall asleep to it, something about Jim Nantz with the claps and everything is just so soothing
I know what you are talking about!!!!!
I have watched this at least 5-7 times in its entirety. I was at the practice round on that Tuesday and flew back home Wednesday night, to watch the last 4 rounds from the comfort of my couch. Still get chills watching him win his 5th jacket after so many counted him out! Will always be my favorite!
I really think it’s the single best day of golf best course best golfer winning it all and the best story in golf
Could be the greatest moment in golf history, maybe even sports history right there.
I cried manly tears on this day.
Well I hope to cry some come November 2020

It doesn’t get better than this. Augusta is the best at producing great media coverage for fans
Definitely one of the great moments in sports history for an individual. I so happy to see Tiger back. I hope he can get a few more majors.
moments like this will leave you speechless.. tiger making that celebratory walk with his family after 18… magical
I will literally rewatch this once per year for the rest of my life. I'm here in 2024, and forever
Tiger is the reason I golf and the reason I fell in love with the game of golf. Masters week is my favorite time of the year. It's an official holiday in my book. This was amazing to watch with my son, we were going crazy! Thanks for all the uploads 🙌
What this man has overcome is incredible, glad to see you back on top, King
Just sat and rewatched this and as a parent bawled like a baby at the end.. He is the GOAT of this game.
Watching this over a year later, I'm just so happy Sam and Charlie got to see him do this. One of the coolest things I've ever seen in sports.
Hope this stays up after the rebroadcast. Pretty please.
top2pear it will
It stayed up.
They are smart and I believe own all the footage. They just allow CBS and ESPN to broadcast. Smart of them to post them online for us too! I’m gonna go back and watch them all now with this years being cancelled/postponed
Tiger has made watching golf, playing golf over the years fun and exciting. He
brought to the game something special that no golfer ever has. Thank you, Mr. Tiger Woods!
I cried when he holed the final putt. What a moment, what a champion
The chills i got up and down my spine during the live telecast, well it's still there!
The greatest moment in the history of golf, not even close. What an unbelievable weekend
Images are so powerful. The reaction, Tiger's journey and emotions and this epic win. Will never forget this moment.

It’s an unbelievable experience. Being at 18 that day, it was indescribable
Start saving.
I’ve done it once I followed tiger at the BMW championship in 2010 the year Dustin Johnson won I’m pretty sure. I live near Cog Hill and wished they would’ve stayed there
Got to do it 3 yrs in a row in akron...... Being at the tee box to hear and see a tiger tee shot is an experience.... Hope you get to
I'm so glad he's still alive, tiger is my favorite athlete of all time. I'm so grateful to witness his 5th Green jacket win.
I'll never forget I was at a bowling alley in Kent Ohio watching this and the whole place went wild. It was truly an amazing day.
This will always go down as my favorite moment in Tiger's extraordinary career
This is one of the greatest moments and redemption stories in sports history. Hard not to get choked up seeing him make that final putt and hug his son. I come back and watch this every year.
