If you haven’t checked out Trans Am, do yourself a favor and dig deep into their luscious wonderfulness. So good. (The most recent incarnation of Baroness, to me, seems to revolve around that awesome, crunchy bass sound. Especially Gold & Grey. People crap on the mix, but man the bass is so awesome. )
There’s something about absurdity where if you push it far enough it goes all the way around the horn to become total sincerity and the only thing that’s real. When that young woman is dancing with that young man with the painted face while the other young man plays “ smells like teen spirit” for no apparent reason? That just feels so real to me in this moment. It represents something bigger than all of you. I can’t begin to tell you how much sense your show makes to me even when I don’t understand it which is frequent.

I did have to leave an Anal Cunt show in the early 2000s when some skin heads showed up and started shit... i wasn't there to see them tho, my friends opened for them
It's one of the best selling albums of all time ,but yes generally overlooked by metal fans. The singer in this cover is clearly talented, but I don't think anybody really touches 70s Delpinator. I'd love to hear her singing some doom metal.
The "Smells Like Teen Spirit" solo really made me laugh out loud. This was a top notch cover (the singing was out of this world), but the solo really put it over the top. Well done!

Patrick Bertlein - I lived in the same town as him, his daughter went to school with my sister. Our music teacher openly wept in class when he heard the news. He had a Beatles cover band that was amazing, too. He was def a big influence on me as a kid 🤷🏻♂️
