Would be interesting to try. I have never created a mold before. I do have some grey flexible tpu. Wondering about clicking print just to see how it turned out.
The pictures make the watch strap (double case) look like it is flexable. Printing in TPU would probably give some good results (with the addition of double-sided 3M adhesive tape). Overature PLA and PETG orange filament looks to be a bit closer to burnt orange? Hard to tell looking online. Another option would be to print in white filament and use Rit dye to dye the part. Rit has a colour formulas page to get the right combination of dyes. I also wonder if you could put a single link between the watches, using the pins to attach them together? Then cover the link with fabric tape?
Ooh. Some really good suggestions. I’m going to take a look at that filament. I’ve not had too much joy with TPU printing with supports. Will take a look.
@@Cosplayvicar TPU can be painful to use. I avoid using supports with TPU if possible, that is for sure! With your flat version of the holder, does it need supports? I think you can print that right on the bed.
Wouldn't a nato strap be better as it would hold watches n case solid n no fear of it comeing of the wrist.... Case looks more brown rather than burnt orange
Having watched the film back and forth. Its the original plastic straps on the waches not webbing strapps. I don't believe its brown. RPF seems to indicate its a terracotta colour
Glad we got the full upload! Thanks :D
No idea what went wrong last time!
Would be good if there was a way of moulding that out of flexible silicone. Or maybe using your pieces as a mould for a silicone piece.

This is cool. I;m fairly sure the terracotta coloured part was rubber and the strap wove through all the spring bars.

looks great. Actually all the bits are available on ebay ive made up two versions including a gold one :-)
Oh nice! In what way. Do you mean the watches or the rubber holder?
The logic behind having two watches in Alien is to have the time of two planets available at a glance
Tbh that’s great logic. Or maybe time on the ship and time on the planet?
@@Cosplayvicar yeah for sure, whatever Timezone awareness ripley & co require to get the job done
You would think Casio would have made one watch that can do that ... Worldtimer to Offworldtimer
@@karlsenula9495 Yes actually. a Space Watch
