As a dramatic classic, your recommendations are spot on! It would be really cool to see you discuss your body type and show us what you have in your closet. ❤
I am always impressed by the quality of your videos. I especially like how the looks you choose for your videos are inspired by the kibbe type your talking about. It's a nice touch and great attention to detail👍
I live in Colorado. We call fall and spring “shoulder seasons” because they divide the cold and warm part of the year. Fall can be warm one day and cold the next. Sometimes it snows and then the next day gets very warm, up into the 70s Fahrenheit. The key is layering because the weather can change drastically from the beginning to the end of the day!
Hi! I live in North Carolina. We have 4 definitive seasons, which requires either a lot of clothes, or planning! Thanks for the DC visuals, and the descriptions! It really helps to see what doesn’t work, as well! ❤️
Thank you Ali! Always accurate! As a DC I gravitate to a lot of the styles that you recommend for us. I also love military styles on me because of their sharpness. Military can have a nice tidy look without being dressy, even just gold buttons can do that. 1940s styles also for the same reason - those sharp shoulder jackets are great for us. I find with coats with belts, a buckle looks way better than a tie belt. It amazes me how a small detail like that can make a huge difference in the overall look, and I refuse to wear a tie belt with anything now that I figured this out hahaha! I also never do the neutral classic pieces, and often do pattern mixing with plaids & stripes & different tweed textures. It works great and it's never boring. You were spot on with your take on how to wear stripes & mix prints. As long as the patterns are small and not overpowering, anything goes.
Thank you! In the mountains of idaho- I have to layer up - and yet- those blazers fit me well. The horse and hound look is great in catalog photos- but out here, in rural farmland… I’m looking at rubber boots, insulated gloves, & waterproof everything 😅 - fashion takes a back seat to the weather.
In Finland, we have four seasons. Autumn starts off warm and summery but can get quite chilly, sometimes below 0 degrees celsius. Yesterday I already had to grab my winter coat even while wearing three layers underneath. White stuff was falling from the sky. October.🍂
Yes she looks beautiful. However as polished as the outfit is, it's clearly at odds with her.....in terms of kibbe identity. When I first began to watch the video , my thought was "why is she dressed like that" .....then remembered the topic. It's a nice polished outfit but it ages her and looks heavy, like she is cosplaying mom's clothes, because she is not a classic type.
Excellent summary for DC. I find all to be true for me. I'd like your opinion about puffy sleeves. I find that I cannot look good in even a slight puff or gather at the shoulder. Is that just me or generally true for DC?
It's probably you because the general advice is that SC can wear puffed sleeves. I'm a Soft Dramatic and I've read that big, stiff puffed sleeves are supposed to look good on me, but they look ridiculous. Even as a teenager they looked ridiculous. Evidently some of us just aren't meant to wear puffed sleeves.
I have been waiting for this video!! I live close to the Italia Alps so it gets really cold!! It's so interesting how I do have all of those pieces, intuitively, and sometimes ask myself "why are my clothes so boring?" Now I know why!! Thank you!!!
Love this video, thanks Aly!! As a DC, I also look good in light cardigans buttoned up, kind of like a simple sweater with buttons, waist length (short-ish), fitted shoulders and arms and torso.
I’ve never been sure what my style type was. But.. I’m finding that the oversized fashion that’s out now looks off on me. Also, I’m always saying I want clothes just right not too. In looking at your suggestions for clothes I have a lot of the sweater blazers you suggest. I never really thought of wearing them just as a cardigan but I have one one today! Thanks. I like to edge up the school boy sweater blazers so I iron the collar up.
I love your videos so much, there are a lot of other youtubers now, making videos about kibbe types, but you are the best. You put so much effort and detail in it, also in your outfit and makeup by copying a different type. I live in Paraguay, its very humid, the winter normally is never below 0, normally arround 12/16 at daytime. Summers are very hot!
I think the waistcoat outfit looks great...thinking it should work on DC? as tailored and slight waist emphasis, maybe he said not as too structured...not sure 🤔
hi aly, your videos on aesthetics have really helped me over the past few years. i was wondering if you could share advice on how to style a big head that is disproportionate to a smaller body. how to balance it out with certain hairstyles, hats, sunglasses, clothes, etc.
Where I live it’s rainy/drizzling constantly throughout autumn, winter, and into the spring. I always need to factor into my clothing if it can withstand water exposure and a little mud haha. I’d be curious to see what your suggestions would be for rain jackets and waterproof boots!
When I click on your 'body types playlist' (I have 3 times), all that pops up are ads to download apps and other ads. What am I doing incorrectly? I would really like to watch this body types playlist... Thank you!
@@lybo1581 I can see what you mean due to my weight gain in the middle but I have small bones, 5 foot 8 and I am narrow it is hard to see this over the weight.
@@Brownmahfun Same girl, same! I have the same gain pattern... That's why i felt like i am a Pure Natural or FN. Even if i don't think that i am frame dominant. But being overweight makes it hard for me to figure it out... Plus my height is average, 5ft6. And my face is chubby no matter my weight😅
@@lybo1581 It depends on what you were before you gained the weight. I was a skinny, narrow, small framed model type body with a torso that was 1/3 the size of what I have now. My bones are pretty proportionate thru out, with good muscles. I always wanted the romantic type body but even the weight wont give me that.
@@Brownmahfun I was narrow too but with a wide waist... like straight and no definition. My hips are straight and narrow too. And yes, romantic body has always been my goal... But my weight pattern and bones would never allowed me to achieve that. That's why i am very frustated with the recommandation because i don't feel good and feminine enough.
i wait so hard for soft classic - the summer version was so good!
Me too🤓
I’m waiting too! Maybe we’re next.
Probably we will be the last ones. It's almost winter weather where I live and I still don't know how to wear on Autumn😅

I'd love a video about waistcoats (suit vest). I love them and I don't know which one could work for me as a DC
😳Aly! You've never looked more polished and beautiful 😍 Thank you for your incredible content, you literally helped me transform my style. XOXO

From Fairbanks Alaska. Currently 30° F and snowing.
I love this outfit on you Aly! Gorgeous! Your hair, makeup and earrings all go perfectly with it
It’s starting to get warmer here now.
Spring is lovely

Thanks for this DC autumn video. I look forward to your posts.
Ahhh, I’ve been waiting for this! Thank you, Aly! 🫶🏼
You look gorgeous! Thank you for the helpful tips.❤
Aly this video is genius work
I am a possible DC from North Florida! I could wear your summer laws year round if I wanted, but I love autumn coats!
Already bought my fall wardrobe but I'm patiently waiting for flamboyant natural video 🥰

im 5'2, appear a bit taller to others, can I be dramatic classic? I find these are my best outfits. Rules I've LEARNED OVER TIME LOOK BEST ON ME.
Thanks a lot Aly for the vid + the list
Thank you ! Finally ~~❤

How do DC keep khakis or tan trousers from looking too stuffy?
Stiches should not be wrinkly, sometimes some cheaper pants have that. The smoother the surface the better
Thank you.
No waistcoat (suit vest) for dramatic classic. Interesting…
❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
I can never understand why wide ankle boots would even exist. 🇦🇺
Please do soft gamine soon
I can’t figure out if I am soft dramatic or just fat dramatic classic.
❤
Now I really want to see that video that will come in 3000 years.😂
А есть такое же видео, только на русском?)
Waiting for fn…
Autumn is almost over just saying.
I am a dramatic classic and everything I like is not what is suggested.
