I consider myself to be a Natural. What I really appreciate about the Kibbe system is that we are encouraged to work WITH the lines we have-not try to “correct” anything. I live in the American South, and it generally doesn’t get too cold until January or February. Two years ago I purchased a long midweight cashmere sweater. I will wear it forever. Your presentations of this information have done more good for me than you could ever know. I gave up thinking my body was “bad.” It’s not. It’s just different. I’ve about stopped watching other fashion channels. I put my pearl earrings back in the safe, got out my chunky jewelry (some artisan made) and I wear what I like. I also quit trying to mold my hair into some contrived style that just never looked right. Thank you so much for these videos, Aly. Thank you!
Thank you, Aly. All of these ideas are spot on and resonate with me as I identify as a “pure” natural. Back in my younger days, I never understood why peplums looked ridiculous on me, but I learned to avoid them even though the common thinking for my body type was to try to “balance” the narrower hips with more volume. Had I known the Kibbe system then, it would have spared me a lot of frustration, lol! Two suggestions for English pronunciation: “Lapel” is “lah-pelle” and “Plaid” has the same vowel as “mad” and “bad” (not “played.”) Thanks again for a great video! ❤from New Jersey USA
Hello Aly! Thanks so much for this timely video. I live in Poland, where we have a definite winter season. I am so excited every year when winter comes, because I love boots, layers, scarves, hats and sweaters. I already wore boots last night to a meeting, as we had a temperature drop. Your videos have helped me so much! I am almost 68 years old. But never too old to learn. I am a "natural", perhaps toward the "soft" type. When I started following you, identified my body type and started dressing accordingly it made life easier and better for me.
Would love to see a series on seasonal trends discussing what body types they do and don't work for. So happy you started the series for seasonal style laws, very helpful :)
Great video, my falls are cool and wet. I would love a video on hooded coats and sweaters. I realized they are not the most glamorous looks, but reality is we need to stay dry.
Thank you Aly- spasibo, this was super helpful! As a soft natural (learnt recently) I’m still figuring out my best shapes and styles. This was tremendously helpful, you are a true gem! ❤️
I wanna know the rule for heels…does it depend on the length of the leg or on the feetsize? Everytime I wear a very high (8-10cm) Heel it looks totally wrong🤨🫤 maybe you can make a video about that🤗 which kind of heels does fit to which body type an size🫶🏻👍
Very rainy and windy autumn and chilly! Also dark. Southeast Alaska. Love the idea of a suede jacket but wouldn’t hold up in the rain. I wonder if there are any faux suede jackets that work for rain
Interesting. As a flamboyant natural, I feel that most office wear clothes are made for classics (not counting oversized blazers and wide legged pants).
I’m in SoCal, watching this video on Oct. 2nd, and I’m wearing a tank top & mini. Daytime temps have cooled since about 2 - 3 weeks ago, but still warm enough to wear warm-weather clothes. Once sundown hits, temps “plummet” about 20 - 30 degrees (°F), so if you know you’re going to be out in the evening, you’d essentially be dressing for different weather. I hate overheating, but I also don’t like shivering (my heartbeat seems to become irregular when I’m chilled to the core), so I try to split the difference, and also bring along a neckerchief, armwarmers, fingerless gloves, and as a last resort, a hoodie (I hate wearing sleeves, unless it’s “really” cold). Wearing a hat helps to keep the heat in, and I just recently bought 5 newsboy hats, so I’m enjoying pairing them w/ my outfits. It’s almost 1am, and as I sit in my room, my legs are bare, but on top of the tank & mini, I have a neckerchief & newsboy cap on, w/ a headlamp wrapped around it. It’s a modern headlamp (i.e., regular one), but paired w/ the cap, it looks a bit STEAMPUNKISH, which I love-I’ve always adored that aesthetic! 😊 (PROTIP: If you’re gonna be walking around your home in the evening, if you have a comfy hat and don’t mind or enjoy wearing it, put a headlamp on it, so you don’t have to turn a bunch of lights on & off. It’s so cool to have the illumination always accompany you, everywhere you go! I got a rechargeable one, so I won’t have to mess w/ changing batteries often. ) I’m not into anime, but have always had an affinity for costumey looks, and some people do assume that I’m a cosplayer, sometimes. 😆 I think that’s funny, but also an unexpected compliment. Last winter, I didn’t have to be out in the evenings, when temps dropped to about 40 - 50°F, and daytime temps could feel like summer (~85°F), so I never once wore pants-I was totally fine w/ my “uniform” of a wifebeater & tennis skirt-it’s become a perennial outfit, and I love that it works w/ all of my footwear styles, from sandals to slip-ons to boots (ankle,mid-calf, knee-hi).
I am I believe a Natural to a T. With so many clothing made for more different body types than Natural, sometimes I give up when shopping and go for athletic clothing because it always looks good on me 😅
Hooray! We are still here! (Neither flamboyant nor soft, just Natural!)

Love how you always dress up as the type you are talking about 😄❤
Eagerly waiting for flamboyant natural style laws! Can't buy clothes confidently without you 😩
That’s the truth, isn’t it? I COMPLETELY TRUST her fashion/style advice!
I think autumn is literally the season for naturals
Thank you very much for your videos. I‘m from Germany, autumns can be cold and rainy or warm too. As a Natural type, I can layer, so no problem.
Same for me here in France

As a Pure Natural, I still catch myself trying to "balance" my figure because of my narrow hips😪

Is it just me or do you dress like the style you’re presenting in every video in this series? 😮
I think so too! I noticed from the second video
Yep, she sure does!
I hadn't noticed but it's true! Very cool 😊
Obviously
This is true she does it every time it’s cool
I find harder to dress classy in hot summer. Winter and fall are easy.
I would prefer to listen without the background music, but your content is so good as always. Thank you Aly
I can't wait

We have warm autumns in WASHINGTON DC.😊
Thank you, Ally.
I definitely am pure natural.
Closest to dramatic,(6 foot) but it too harsh if I wear it.

Greetings from the Netherlands Aly! :) It's getting colder and more rainy here.. But the sunny autumn days are lovely!
Hi Aly!
I really love these videos. They are really educational 💯 I wonder if you could do a series on every sub season in colour analysis.
Always great advice and has improved my style. Your advice makes shopping easier too. Thank you!!❤❤

Hi Amy
I’m from Portugal and Autumn here is pretty hot lately! Feels like summer for now! ❤❤
as a classic, I feel that everything on the stores is made for naturals these days
True I have a hard time buying clothes I go to my tailor a lot.
