      Yes, they work well through a lot of rifles. I have heard that Hatsan test their rifles with them.

    Nice little rifle and good accuracy. Imagine what you could get weighing the pellets as well.

    Mark have been watching your video's over a few days all great I must say. The long range is very interesting with the 177. But a lot of us uses. 22 could you do similar video with this calibre well appreciated

    I use them baracuda match .177 in my gamo gx40. And its pellet on pellet 45yard no problem. Its lazer acurate. I do use jsb in some of my other guns.

      I really believe that the Barracuda Match Barracuda FT and Barracuda Light are among the best pellets from H&N and tend to shoot well through most barrels.

    Some damn good shooting there .. I myself are quite impressed with the barracuda light especially , might just give em a bash , particularly in my brocock .. can get JSBs quite easily in my local RFD so no problems there , and H&N to be fair ... So next time in , will get a tin of barracuda lights , that's one long whip you've got there , so long infact , you'd have been wiser to have left the bottle at home .. and trailed the whip to the range .. ( poor attempt at humour there )

      I think most of the Barracuda varieties seem to do well. Very similar to the Bisley Magnum, and all out of the same factory. The Daystate 10.3 can give them a run for their money, but the price of Daystate pellets have now put them at a big disadvantage. 177 now cost as much as what the 22 equivalent used to be, with prices as much as £15,when you could get them for £10 or £12 a year ago. Will have to use JSB 10.34 from now on.

    Had the same trouble with my pulse. There is an easy remedy. I bought a glove. It doesn’t have to be an expensive shooting glove. Any thick, padded winter glove will do. It has certainly helped with accuracy. 😊

    Wow that's a massive amount of air release from your fill bottle have you thought about a microbore fill whip saves air . I put one on mine and it saves a lot of air.

    • @airgunsniper-elite7385
      @airgunsniper-elite7385  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I am thinking of getting a smaller whip again. The longer one has benefits, but at 1 metre it does hold a lot of air.

    Since I only have 1 .177 cal PCP and all my others are in .22...it would be awesome if you could make another video on .22. I love the H&N Barracuda Hunters. They expand almost as good as the Daisy 15.27 grain Hollow Points. Both very accurate and super effective pest control and hunting pellets. I have consistently held half in groups at 50 yards with both in FAC rifles. Cool video. Thank you. BTW it IS a shame that Daisy/Gamo Spain doesn’t make the .177 in the same style and shape as the .22 Daisy Hollow Point. The .22 is basically a Gamo Red Fire without the polymer tip yet with better accuracy and way more affordable seeing that you get 500 per tin for 13$ or less. The .177 doesn’t have the very deep “V” shape to it at all so I will only use the H&N Barracuda Hunters in .177 for hunting. The shock damage is very good.

      Sorry for the second comment but have you ever thought about just leaving the fill probe in the gun at all times. I do and haven’t ever had one want to fall out. I use a rubber cap to keep the dirt out. The same kind that’s used in restaurants for evoo and bars for whiskey with the steel pourers. 8mm caps on Amazon. 100 pack for 7$ works great.

    hi mark,,not bad results there mate,,never been a fan of h&n pellets im a jsb fan to be honest but we all like what we like and which pellets suit our rifles,,fn12 is a nice little rifle and was performing well with the pellets you had,i think the groups may tighten up a bit with a jsb pellet but thats just my opinion,my mate has just bought a second hand falcon raptor in .22 so worth a try with the h&n to see what the barrel likes,,he got a smw engineering magazine for it as the origional falcon mags were in my eyes crap with that brass gadget to hold the pellet in while loading but apart from that they are a nice air rifle,,when the jsb pellets become more available would be interesting to compare them through the fn12 against the h&n at those same distances to see which are the better of the two but what you have shot through the rifle i think have done really well at those distances,nice one,,my mate is thinking of fitting a robert lane reg to his falcon raptor which are not a bad price and simple to fit,,great vid mark and nice to see you back at the range,,👍👍👍

    Idol which must better for long range shooting. 177 or. 22 cal??

    • @airgunsniper-elite7385
      @airgunsniper-elite7385  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It all depends on the power of the rifle. If its FAC then .22 every time. With 12 ft/lbs then it also depends on wind conditions. The heavier pellets will retain energy better over distance, but the weight will also effect the loopy trajectory. I would go for a 10 + grain pellet in .177 for anything above 50 yards. With the .22 you could go with 14.3 grain Webley Accupell to get the higher speeds, but these will be effected by winds over 50 yards, so 16 or 18 grain pellets in stronger winds. The 12 ft/lbs is the limiting factor, but where there are no power restrictions the heavier .22 all the way = more speed and power over the sub 12 ft/lbs rifles and good out to 100 yards.

    I would recommend you use a shorter whip, to save air. 👍
